Drove past this one about 30 minutes after it happened. Instantly sent prayers up because of how bad it looked. It was one of the worst looking accidents I’ve seen in some time. Pray for the families especially during this holiday season. Tragedy can strike so quick and unexpectedly. Please be careful during the times of inclement weather, even if it is not actively raining, the wet roads and excessive speed do not mix well, heck the wet roads and the speed limit don’t mix well some times.

When will people learn to wear seatbelts.

Robert December 7, 2019 - 9:19 PM - 9:19 PM

No one said they weren’t wearing seatbelts!

So sad especially during the holiday season. Deepest condolences to all of their families and friends.

The way the auto looked seatbelts would not have mattered.

A Nissan Versa weighs about 2600 lbs. The NHTSA gives the Versa’s “structure/safety cage” a rating of poor.

Sending positive thoughts to the families coping with this loss.

Wouldn’t doubt it if they were speeding since it seems like that’s all people do around here… that car was pretty mangled…

Saw a picture of the car on channel two last night. No one would survive that. Driver never slowed down he must have died in his sleep. Lets hope all three did.

Given they couldn’t identify the driver at the scene suggests he/she did not have a driver’s license with them……..

Either way, thoughts and prayers to those involved. This is never a good time to lose a family member, regardless of the reason.
