Trump will be trouble next week when the impeachment hearings continue. I hope that he will get impeached ASAP.

Liar! Liar! November 29, 2019 at 8:46 PM

Hope all you want. The voters will impeach the House Democrats.

jjshawk November 30, 2019 at 12:00 AM

The Establishment Democrats are worried they can’t beat Trump in an election; therefore, are putting all their stock into the Impeachment process.

I would consider turning my back on Trump if, Tulsi Gabbard got the nomination. Tulsi is kinda anti-establishment, and will not tow the line; therefore, her party won’t endorse her, unless by force, where she somehow manages to break through with enough support from potential voters.

Yogurt November 30, 2019 at 10:03 AM

It’s possible the democrats lose the house but no one really knows.

Considering 2016 was so close and depending on the polls it seems that 2020 will be as close as well, we have no clue.

I would like to see the amount of new registered voters since 2016. There have been reports of young voters registering in droves but no breakdown of party affiliation.

Tulsi Gabbard is a fake democrat that pushes the same nonsense conspiracy theories that Trump does. She is only a democrat because in Hawaii she would lose as a Republican. She is not a serious candidate.

Rollo Tomasi November 30, 2019 at 10:52 AM

Gabbard and Yang are the only viable current Democrat candidates for independent voters. The rest are total moonbats.

james November 29, 2019 at 8:22 PM

The dems will be on 2 months vacation and wont be able to speak,Pelosi will be trying not to fall over..The good part is of they impeach, the law says the none of the candidates can leave their area to go campaign until impeachment is over, this will destroy their single digit chances of getting votes. No natter what happens,Trump won’t lose.I love that the dems keep believing the same news that has been lying to them since Trump announce he would be running for POTUS,and that Clinton would win with %85 of the votes(landslide!)
Fool me once,shame on you,fool me twice,shame on me…

S November 30, 2019 at 9:02 AM

Wow… I’ve never heard that before, that they can’t go out an campaign… Not doubting you, if it is true, maybe they will delay the impeachment long as they can.

Gittyup November 30, 2019 at 11:46 AM

This has been reported elsewhere. Those Democratic candidates who currently hold seats in the House and Senate will need to be present for impeachment testimony and voting. They will essentially be “tied up” for the duration.

This gives a free reign and advantage to Biden and Bloomberg, with Bloomberg possibly accruing the greatest benefit considering his late start … and Biden’s obvious, shall we say, confusion. With this realization, we’ll be watching the blood slowly draining from Pelosi’s face.

S November 29, 2019 at 8:31 PM

He’ll get impeached, He’ll get aquitted, He’ll get re-elected.

Did I Say That Out Loud November 29, 2019 at 10:34 PM

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner.

The Wizard November 30, 2019 at 7:40 AM

And that’s the truth.

Bob November 30, 2019 at 12:42 PM

He could be convicted, removed, AND STILL win again.

Fred P. November 30, 2019 at 7:26 AM

Randy November 29, 2019 at 5:16 PM states “Liar liar. Then it must be true if the is no evidence to the contrary. Believe…….”

randy is an illiterate moron who has no knowledge of what he’s talking about…. nor does Peter. And liberalism is a mental disease.

Using Randy’s logic, it has to be true, because there “ is no evidence to the contrary.”

Thank you for proving what the world already knew.

Randy November 30, 2019 at 12:16 PM

Actually fred that’s trump’s logic that you all have swallowed. Believe……

Cautiously Informed November 30, 2019 at 5:08 PM

People who view and understand things using practicality and logic don’t ‘believe’. ‘Believe’ is a attribute of the liberal democrats who know only to view things and act according to emotions and feelings.

Ricardoh November 30, 2019 at 8:34 AM

The president will not be impeached and he will be re elected.

Chicken Little November 30, 2019 at 12:28 PM

If House Democrats can come up with some semi-graceful way of NOT impeaching him so they can still save a little face, I think that’s what will happen. A straight party-line impeachment vote will not look very good for them, especially since he’s likely to be acquitted in the Senate (and probably NOT with a straight party line vote).

And yes, I believe he will be re-elected.

Gittyup November 30, 2019 at 2:53 PM

Democrats would do well at this point just to censure Trump, rather than anything else. It’s like saying, “You’ve been naughty and don’t do it again, but we won’t punish you this time.” After all, isn’t that the thinking behind most of their pronouncements with regard to any sort of illegal activity?

THE BLACK KNIGHT December 4, 2019 at 8:23 PM

Gittyup,

If President Trump were to be censured, a future Congress could rescind or expunge the censure.

Gittyup December 4, 2019 at 10:54 PM

@THE BLACK KNIGHT Fine by me! I think, put in an historical perspective, Democrats are going to be really embarrassed by all this at some point.

WCRez November 30, 2019 at 9:03 AM

I do not think Trump will be impeached. There is not enough evidence of an impeachable offense. This entire fiasco feels like a charade to me. Just a spectacle to distract from something else. That something else being far worse.
Right now, the Republicans have the upper hand and I fully expect Trump to be re-elected. That being said, both political parties are dirty as hell.

Justifiable anger November 30, 2019 at 11:30 AM

I agree! The well choreographed tantrum is proof how close we are to losing free speech, our right to protect our selves! The censorship on Facebook is outrageous. The local crime spree is telltale for what to expect in the future.

Look around people. Believe what you see, not the propaganda machine.

As for our President (surely an incarnation of Montgomery or Patton) , godspeed. He is just the man we need during these dangerous times. It is incredible how all the information adds up since he has laid waste to the deep state corruption.

The public was being walked off a cliff. California is barely solvent because of cronyism. Brown, Newsom, Pelosi, Getty. 80 years. Robbing us blind.

Gittyup December 1, 2019 at 6:33 AM

Liberals thrive on chaos. It is why they keep creating it for all of us.

slagheap November 30, 2019 at 9:32 AM

Impeachment is a given, and properly so. The final outcome remains anybody’s guess, it’s early days. Nixon enjoyed strong statistical support during the hearings, it appeared he was gonna’ skate – until he didn’t.

Ricardoh November 30, 2019 at 10:06 AM

Before you impeach you have to have an offense. There is no offense.

S November 30, 2019 at 11:10 AM

oh richard… u silly man.

Liar! Liar! November 30, 2019 at 11:17 AM

Trump’s offense was winning the election. And the impeachment has been in process since before he was even sworn in.

Yogurt November 30, 2019 at 11:19 AM

Ricardoh

So there was no offense? None at all? What do you think happened.

Gittyup November 30, 2019 at 11:25 AM

There is absolutely no comparison with the Nixon impeachment inquiry, nor Clinton’s. This one is pure and simple sour grapes.

Randy November 30, 2019 at 12:05 PM

Trump is extremely offensive. That should be plenty.

Rollo Tomasi November 30, 2019 at 3:12 PM

Randy, unfortunately for the Dems that’s the best they’ve got. By your standards I think we can get Newscum impeached.

Gittyup November 30, 2019 at 11:47 PM

Being “extremely offensive,” Randy, is not a “high crime and misdemeanor.” If it were, 99% of the liberals posting here would be in jail.

Fred P. December 2, 2019 at 11:59 AM

Trump being “extremely offensive” should be enough for impeachment????

randy – whatever mental capabilities you once had (?) have obviously flown out the window. I thought you couldn’t stoop any lower – but you surprised me at your vast LACK of knowledge.

You OBVIOUSLY have NEVER taken any civics US government classes. Go sit in the corner.

Commonsensenor November 30, 2019 at 12:09 PM

Everyone should spend a day on an alternate news channel this holiday season. See the other’s side a little. Watch CNN, MSNBC, The View, then watch Fox News.

After doing so, you will clearly see that the Dems are nut job whiners that are yelling at the sky STILL because their corrupt pay to play girl lost in 2016.

And Epstein didn’t kill himself.

Yogurt November 30, 2019 at 2:29 PM

See you lose all credibility when you start calling names.

I have watched Fox News and it’s a joke at best.

Fred P. December 2, 2019 at 6:48 AM

And one sentence after she accuses others of losing credibility when they start “calling names”, she calls Fox News a “joke at best.”

Are you so blind you can’t even see your own hypocrisy?????

As I’ve said innumerable times – if the democrats didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have ANY standards.

slagheap November 30, 2019 at 1:57 PM

@ Rep Devin Nunes
Hey, buddy, where are those lawsuits against CNN and the Daily Beast? C’mon, you promised!

Up to Here November 30, 2019 at 4:15 PM

And we are all still waiting for the evidence of collusion that Schiff and Swalwell claimed they had . Slag….you are on the losing end. Go have Kool Aid and you will feel better.

slagheap November 30, 2019 at 9:05 PM

If you care to be more specific, e.g. actual quotes or verbatim statements by either one or links to same, I’d be more than happy to oblige, but I won’t respond to vague BS.
Now that’s cleared up, what do you think about Devin’s secret 2018 Vienna pow-wow with the crooked Ukrainian Prosecutor General and the subsequent multiple meetings at the Trump International Hotel between Nunes’ top aide, Derek Harvey, and Parnas, Furman, Giuliani, right wing columnist John Solomon, and those Fox News flame outs, attorneys diGenova and Toensing? This as reported by NBC, CNBC, Daily Beast, CNN, WSJ, etc. I guess that’s all fake news to you, but isn’t it funny how they have names, dates, and places? And isn’t it funny how Nunes put on a big show threatening lawsuits ” right after Thanksgiving, ” but never a peep since? Just watch his laughable interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo to see what I mean! I watch as much Fox as I can stomach, an hour or more every weekday afternoon. I’m familiar with the sheep manure they’re peddling.

Dr. Jellyfinger December 1, 2019 at 9:30 AM

You’re a pretty thorough guy Slagman…
Maybe you should become a reporter…. I hear Newsweek is hiring.

Forsythe December 1, 2019 at 10:13 AM

Attempts to smear and intimidate Devin Nunes have not derailed him. The mainstream media have evolved from left-wing biased media outlet to producers of left-wing financed hit pieces. A best-selling book on Amazon outlines their tactics: “The Plot Against the President”, by Lee Smith. Sub-titled:

How Congressman Devin Nunes Uncovered the Biggest Political Scandal in U.S. History.

The Inspector General’s report will be released on December 9. But corrupt Democrats or their media hacks at CNN, MSNBC, or the New York Times aren’t likely to own up to the part they played in this scandal. U.S. Attorney John Durham is already conducting a criminal investigation. And it is nothing like little Adam Schiff’s phony basement tribunal.

The Democrat party is in deep trouble, and they know it.

Gittyup December 2, 2019 at 8:28 AM

Amazing how two people can watch the same interview and one thinks it is informative and the other considers it “laughable.” Speaks to one’s attitude, clearly. Maybe one’s ego, too.

james November 30, 2019 at 8:22 PM

Washington DC Democrat mayor Marion Barry got caught on camera buying and smoking crack, and the democrats still re-elected him.Trump is an angel.

Gittyup November 30, 2019 at 11:52 PM

Yogurt December 1, 2019 at 11:27 AM

Gitty

Here is a question, show me a fact of something that trump has done that has helped the country and made it safer.

Start domestically and then try international

james December 1, 2019 at 7:02 PM

Dr J after she gets her mom to read it to her,she will ask”where’s the proof. Its as if they cover their eyes and ears if they are watching the news and something positive comes up about Trump, but that doesn’t happen on CNN does it?
Do these people know that is mental conditioning,AKA brainwashing? The truth is being intentionally omitted, and in court standards,it means you’re being lied to.Imagine if it were a crime for the news to be untruthful and they held the owners responsible. The Bush family would be incarcerated.

Gittyup December 1, 2019 at 8:01 PM

@Yogurt

Domestically, Trump doesn’t mindlessly spout off that some cheap, two-bit thug robbing a convenience store could be his son thereby making it an attractive alternative for other cheap, two-bit thugs. The economy is his most stunning achievement in a remarkable turnaround which makes us all safer in the long run. Internationally, Trump attempts to relate to foreign leaders as a equal, not a sniveling, spineless coward like his predecessor. He seeks to strengthen the nations reputation on the world stage and bargain from a position of strength. Trump covers his heart when the National Anthem s played showing respect for the long struggle this nation has endured protecting its hard-won freedoms. Respect for the law and rights and property of others, strength to represent the nation as an equal, respect for the symbols of the freedoms we all enjoy, a solid and competent leader in all regards. These are but a few things Trump has done that strengthen the fabric of the nation making it a safer place for us all.

Rollo Tomasi December 1, 2019 at 11:57 PM

I would mention the lowest unemployment rate amongst African Americans and Hispanics, but if it doesn’t benefit Yogurt, it’s not beneficial.

Fred P. December 2, 2019 at 6:51 AM

Rollo, gittyup, james, Dr J…..

No matter what proof you provide to yogurt, she’s gonna sit there and whine. Nothing you can do or say will change the child’s mind.

Gittyup December 2, 2019 at 8:20 AM

Excellent work guys! No one can ever say Trump has been lolling on the golf course. The man is a powerhouse of dedication to making America great, again. All this in spite of the challenges he has faced from a small group of bitter Democratic who are driving its servile and dependent masses.

Rollo Tomasi December 3, 2019 at 10:37 AM

Worthy of mention internationally, Trump launched a global initiative to decriminalize homosexuality. There again, I suppose the benefit of any policy is subjective in nature.

The Fearless Spectator November 30, 2019 at 9:43 PM

Mr. Newsom just decided to block parole for a Santa Cruz area murderer. As you may have guessed, the guy is a citizen.

The Wizard December 1, 2019 at 8:21 AM

Recall Newsom

slagheap December 2, 2019 at 9:41 PM

The second release of notes from the Mueller investigation dropped today. There’s about 600 pages to be eventually released as a result of lawsuits by several media companies including the Daily Beast. Lots of good stuff here, including confirmation that Trump offered Giuliani the AG job, but Rudy held out for Secretary of State. LOLOLOLOLOL! The double irony is Giuliani would doubtless not have recused himself from the Russia investigation. He’d have quashed it before it ever got started.

Mountainside Jay December 3, 2019 at 7:39 AM

Looks like Bill Barr isn’t happy, because the FISA report y’all are salivating over shows that the Trump investigation was justified!

Dr Jellyfinger December 3, 2019 at 9:36 AM

I gotta go to work! Talk about Mr Page tonight.

Mountainside Jay December 3, 2019 at 10:01 AM

Sorry Jelly, lamebrained conspiracy theories are not “evidence.” Maybe Barr can start over. He might even get done before Trump is thrown out of office.

HappyPappy December 3, 2019 at 11:03 AM

The Stand-up comedy team of fools at work –

Senator Kamala Harris of California dropped out of the Democratic presidential race on Tuesday after months of low poll numbers.
The decision came after upheaval among staff and disarray among Ms. Harris’s own allies.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom will travel to Iowa to campaign for Sen. Kamala Harris as she tries to rebound amid a critical stretch in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Gittyup December 3, 2019 at 4:41 PM

Buhbye, Kamala!

Fred P. December 3, 2019 at 11:36 AM

Funny how the “RACIST, MISOGYNISTIC” demoCRAP party started their field of candidates on identity politics, now they are pretty much down to two old white guy’s and lying pocahontas. And every one of them has their own version of tax “THE EVIL RICH!!” to keep their voting base on the plantation….

Racist, pathetic, demoCRAP’s!

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 12:20 PM

Trump lost another appeals court ruling today, Tuesday, 12/03. This one involves Deutsche Bank and one or two other financial institutions. Assuming the administration will petition SCOTUS yet again, there are now three appeals hanging fire at the Supreme Court – one over access to Trump’s taxes, one over certain claims of executive immunity, and one over financial records currently held by third parties.

Mountainside Jay December 3, 2019 at 1:26 PM

“Devin Nunes was definitely part of an attempt to gather information about the Bidens. He was definitely involved in Ukraine. He definitely had involvement in the GOP shadow diplomacy efforts in Ukraine, contrary to his claims.” – Lev Parnas

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 2:06 PM

So very true. Today, 12/03, the House Intelligence Committee’s report included among other things phone call records obtained thru subpoena that reveal a hidden web of communications between Ukraine conspiracy theorist John Solomon, Giuliani, Trump, Lev Parnas, Nunes, and several others.

Rollo Tomasi December 3, 2019 at 3:39 PM

Parnas is that guy currently under indictment, right? Gotcha.

Mountainside Jay December 3, 2019 at 5:11 PM

Hmm? I’m sorry, I was just perusing the Nunes phone records. Yes, Rollo, the very same chap! Did you have a point you wanted to make here, dear fellow?

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 8:17 PM

@MJ
He’s alluding to a Fox interview where Nunes and Hannity decry reliance on info from an indicted party. What those two bozos conveniently ignore, and what Rollo ( he should do some reading, ) obviously doesn’t know is that Parnas was carrying six to ten electronic devices, e.g. iPhones, thumb drives, recording devices, when he and Fruman were apprehended as they were about to leave the country. That’s what the authorities are likely using, his iPhones.

Rollo Tomasi December 3, 2019 at 8:45 PM

The point was was made. Don’t blame me if it goes over your head. Question for you, though. Have Nunes or any of the others ever made a statement that there were never any communications amongst them, via phone or otherwise? If so, it appears there’s some lying going on and I’m interested. Or are you making the case that those individuals aren’t allowed to communicate? Only about Ukraine or everything? Do you have recordings or transcripts of the meetings or phone calls? Or are we still talking about the word of a discredited foreign prosecutor and an indictee that could use a deal?

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 10:48 PM

@roll
1. Parnas recorded many of the calls. He recorded the conversations. He is cooperating with prosecutors. He is central in this ” drug deal, ” to quote John Bolton, that was being run from the White House.
2. Fruman’s devices were also confiscated. He is in custody, but has yet to flip. Rest assured when the attorney money runs low, he will turn.
3. Devin Nunes needs a lawyer, several lawyers.
4. Rudy is a prime candidate for indictment.
5. Mystery participant named ” -1 ” within the call logs will be confirmed to be POTUS.

Rollo Tomasi December 3, 2019 at 11:08 PM

If and when those recordings get released, and if a crime or crimes are revealed, prosecutions should be pursued. Until then, perhaps put it back in your pants.

Rollo Tomasi December 3, 2019 at 11:29 PM

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I haven’t seen that interview. Don’t watch much television, never watch any news shows other than local broadcasts. I read mostly, currently a nonfiction Civil War history. I don’t need media pundits to understand information gleaned from an individual under criminal indictment is to be highly scrutinized and thoroughly corroborated. Again, if said recordings reveal a CRIME or CRIMES, prosecutions should be pursued. In case you haven’t yet caught on, unlike you I hold due process and the presumption of innocence in the highest regard. If you can find any comment from me in all the Claycord archives that Hillary should be in prison, I have a shiny new quarter for you. She’s a scumbag, but I’m not aware of any crime she’s been proven to have committed.

Gittyup December 3, 2019 at 3:57 PM

Funny to see Democrats so uptight about what they consider lawbreaking when they fall all over themselves forgiving immigrants for entering the country illegally, can’t forget fast enough that illegals have brutally murdered innocent citizens, have reconstructed the language, in fact, to make previously illegal activity acceptable, and call those caught breaking the law “involved with the legal system,” rather than the “criminals” they are, in fact. Apparently, theirs is a standard only selectively applied. Another example of their raging hypocrisy. Must be very confusing to be a Democrat. Even Schiff now has expressed reservations about the impeachment whereas he couldn’t get started fast enough in the beginning. In the meantime, polls show the country feels there are more concerning issues in the forefront which deserve our legislator’s attention.

james December 3, 2019 at 6:49 PM

Democrats figure that rules and laws only apply to Republicans, since Republicans are the only ones that are able to .

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 6:03 PM

I wonder who Nunes will sue this time? Well, maybe nobody – today former General Counsel for the FBI, Jim Baker, said it’s time for Nunes to lawyer up.

james December 3, 2019 at 6:43 PM

Randy December 3, 2019 at 6:44 PM

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Ho Ho Ho December 4, 2019 at 7:11 PM

YES!
While House Democrats were amusing themselves with their impeachment circus, the president had 4 new federal judges approved by the Senate.

slagheap December 3, 2019 at 8:06 PM

Well, I stand corrected! Today, 12/03, Nunes filed a half a million dollar lawsuit against CNN, alleging defamation, etc. Very important to note, however:
1. He filed before the bombshell revelations regarding the heretofore secret phone logs, in which he figures prominently, became public. Whoops!
2. Legal experts’ consensus is the suit doesn’t stand a chance in court in any case.
3. It turns out these lawsuits Nunes files ( dozens, over time, ) fire up his base and to a certain degree swell his campaign coffers. He doesn’t expect to win, it’s about fund raising.

Forsythe December 4, 2019 at 7:07 AM

Adam Schiff is smearing Devin Nunes because Nunes derailed the Schiff Show. Schiff is starting to melt down.

Maybe that’s why Nancy Pelosi tossed the ball back to the slightly less vindictive, and more stable, but dumber, Jerry Nadler.

Rollo Tomasi December 4, 2019 at 3:40 PM

Try to slow down and concentrate on what you’re posting. He is seeking damages of almost half a BILLION. By the way, USA Today is reporting that Shokin is denying ever meeting with Nunes. Nunes is unlikely to prevail, since defamation is notoriously difficult to prove for public figures, but CNN still has to lawyer up and answer the lawsuit.

Randy December 4, 2019 at 8:46 PM

The expert the republicans picked works for CBS. Odd that fox doesn’t have this caliber Of expert. NOT.

Rollo Tomasi December 5, 2019 at 5:58 PM

He works for George Washington University Law School, and consults as a legal analyst on multiple networks. Nice to see you acknowledge his expertise. By the way, he voted against Trump, doesn’t support Trump, and doesn’t support impeachment – unlike the activists the Dems rolled out.

Happy: I think you are correct. The misery is mostly in the minds of liberals who did not get their way in the last election. Trump is not only redirecting the economy, but trying to redirect the political philosophy away from the slide into socialism, political correctness and manufactured victimization status. Trying to change the political direction of a country is bound to create friction. One result is the “resistance” who fight him at every issue regardless of the facts or what is good for the country. A beautiful example of that is the exchange above between Yogurt and Jelly where Yogurt provided a CNN talking point of how worthless Trump is, and the response in facts by Jelly remains and will remain unanswered.

Jojo Potato December 5, 2019 at 10:59 AM

If Mr. Trump wasn’t so embarrassing I would be happier. It’s hard to watch him be such a fool at international conferences.

To Do List December 5, 2019 at 12:02 PM

Jojo: You just turned yourself into an example of my point. One of the latest international conferences was the G7 meeting, which is to discuss economic issues among those 7 countries. Guess which of those 7 has the highest, by far, economic growth? If you don’t have facts on your side, redirect or show contempt, or do whatever. In your case talk about being “embarrassed.” Several of those countries are bordering on recession.

Justifiable anger December 5, 2019 at 1:34 PM
