UPDATE: Lafayette Tennis Club Burns Down During Sunday Wildfire – Forward-Progress Stopped On Fire

The Lafayette Tennis club on Camino Diablo, just east of Pleasant Hill Rd., has burned down.

The tennis club building is a total loss, one outbuilding received damage and a residential structure had minor damage to the roof, according to Con Fire.

Forward-progress on the fire has been stopped by firefighters, but all evacuations are still in place.

Poor Hunter. This is devastating news. Why is this happening, these random fires? I pray this one doesnt spread.

Another one in Martinez now, all close to the freeways. I agree. There is no power in Martinez and I thought this area of Lafayette also had no power.

Who said wires or PGE started the fires? I don’t see that in anyone’s post???

It was in the reports that it was due to a downed power line

Yes, how do you know PGE started this? Typical mentally these days. Blaming and pointing the finger. And not knowing facts. Just opinions.
