Sounds like you shouldn’t own a gun. Bad judgement and all.

Would insurance ( if he had any ) pay to replace the vehicle damaged during a crime?

Bob September 20, 2019 - 11:12 PM - 11:12 PM

There are a lot of vehicles I would feel comfortable riding at 100, but an excursion isn’t one of them. Hopefully, she sees the light. Hope she heals.
Excursion stolen or he has a warrant, or both.

I’m rather impressed he got it up to 100 on level ground, those things are huge.

I understand it was a minor injury & she should be able to start shoplifting again in a week or so.

Is that why they had the helicopter circling over by the mall tonight ? We saw one police car fly down Contra Costa Blvd. 80 mph over Bailey Rd is a deathwish. Hope the passenger is ok.

MEV September 20, 2019 - 10:56 PM - 10:56 PM

Glad they didn’t hurt any innocent bystanders. Thank you Concord Police for catching him. Crazy! Maybe he was DUI.

Great job Concord PD! Now get ready to get sued for causing the arm injury … sad but it’s the California we live in today … MCGA

Something tells me the suspect may be guilty of more than just driving with expired tags….

wk September 21, 2019 - 9:48 AM - 9:48 AM

If his registration was expired, then for sure he didn’t have insurance.

Bob Foo September 21, 2019 - 10:38 AM - 10:38 AM

I could see it. It’s a big, comfortable vehicle. I think it’d be cool to take a diesel 4×4 Excursion on… Well… An excursion.

Sir September 21, 2019 - 11:26 AM - 11:26 AM

80-100mph? You mean normal freeway traffic speed?

FPN September 21, 2019 - 12:30 PM - 12:30 PM

Thank you Concord PD. But I have a problem with high speed chases. I dont know what the solution is, but I hate the fact that cars are chasing each other at high speeds and endangering other drivers.

KING September 21, 2019 - 5:46 PM - 5:46 PM

Excursion..??..Not Excalade..??

Karla September 21, 2019 - 6:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Does this improve Concord’s chance to get on Live PD?
