A 69-year-old Contra Costa County resident has been arrested on molestation and sexual abuse charges, according to the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff.
On Tuesday, Detectives presented the case to the Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office, which charged Rodeo resident Lonnie Wright with 10 felonies that include sexual intercourse and oral copulation with a child 10-years-old or younger and forcible lewd acts upon a child.
Wright has reportedly cared for numerous children, and Detectives believe there may be additional victims.

Who on earth would leave their children with this man? What are people thinking? If the abuse didn’t happen within the family that means total strangers were leaving their children with him. Do people NOT read/watch the news?!?! There are church leaders, coaches, teachers and doctors assaulting children. These are people indoors that we have been taught to trust. This man is just an everyday guy? Who in the h*ll leaves their child with a stranger? I am not oblivious, but seriously I barely allow my children to have sleep overs with friends. Too many sickos in this damn world. Put him in public population and let the inmates know why he us there!! NO MERCY ON THIS FILTHY HUMAN!!
