Sanctuary California, what be the price ? ? ?

‘An ultra-violent MS-13 gang entered the U.S., then stalked L.A. with blades and bats’ …

“Nineteen of the 22 defendants charged in the indictment had entered the country illegally in the last four years, said Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles.” …

Dr. Jellyfinger July 19, 2019 at 7:07 PM

Cent Com sends more troops to UAE

Original G July 19, 2019 at 7:31 PM

One thing positive about having President Donald Trump, there will NOT be a repeat of the obama foreign policy of bow and apologize.

Captain Bebops July 20, 2019 at 1:50 PM

Do you like your tax dollars being spent as a welfare plan for the military industrial complex? Though you all didn’t like taxes? Just say no to wars of empire!

Original G July 20, 2019 at 4:05 PM

Hostile aggressor is far more likely to act if they perceive timidity and weakness. Probably best example was Embassy hostage crisis during presidency of jimmy THE WIMP carter.

When there is the ability to inflict overwhelming violence and the resolve to use it against an aggressor there will be Peace.
Reagan proved it with Muammar Gaddafi of Libya and numerous times with Iran.

It is not possible to apologize and bow your way to lasting peace.

Original G July 20, 2019 at 4:13 PM

Should also mention, don’t mind one little bit Boeing going up $16.25 a share on Friday or Lockheed Martin Corp. stock being up 36.3% year to date.

Original G July 20, 2019 at 5:41 PM

Might do well to do a web search on author of the guardian piece.

Doubt Trump administration would do what obama administration did with Libya. Then again a lawless destabilized country turned out some say to be perfect for arms smuggling 35 miles thru another country into Syria.

Atticus Thraxx July 21, 2019 at 2:48 PM

That was just plain incorrect OG. Bam bam was as bloodthirsty as any Fox Faux Republican chickenhawk. 193 Obama directed drone strikes in Pakistan alone. You know, it’s one thing to have a difference of opinion or when data is sketcky, to guess. But Obama’s war on terrorists is pretty well documented and the salient fact is he directed more strikes than Bush and Clown baby has combined. I should keep an eye on your stuff OG, clearly just because you can spell and grammar correctly, it’s easy to be duped into thinking what you post is solid.

Captain Bebops July 22, 2019 at 12:03 PM

Atticus, righties often scramble when you mention their tax dollars are going to only play the interest on the debt created by these wars of empire. There are righties who would agree that we shouldn’t be having such wars and some voted for Trump because he promised to reign them in. Obviously the NeoCons had other ideas.

As for the tankers I guess if you can’t get your way throw a war.

The Wizard July 19, 2019 at 7:19 PM

The squad is the voice of the Democrats, Trump is a shoe in for 2020.

Randy July 19, 2019 at 10:57 PM

That’s what the polls say.

Concordejet July 20, 2019 at 9:59 AM

Trump’s freaking out, because he knows his impeachment trial is coming. He knows the Mueller Report is never going away. He knows he’s committed other crimes on top of obstruction and conspiring with Russia. He should resign then face trial. He knows that he can’t resign, it would be the end. He and Epstein would be sharing a cell together.

Mike Cody July 21, 2019 at 12:56 AM

It’s nice to have a dream I guess.Too bad wagering on it would be”wrong”Several liberals have not paid me on a 2016 election wager I made with them. Why?It was a sure thing, and they are sore losers.
Still not realizing, they were and are being deceived by their own people.

Gittyup July 21, 2019 at 4:11 PM

One thing I’ve noticed about liberals, they have very little objectivity about themselves. They are so deeply entrenched in their attitudes they can’t seem to step back, step out of their mindset, and evaluate their actions devoid of ego, realistically, and with an eye to understanding how utterly without merit some of their strongest held beliefs assert..

larry July 21, 2019 at 7:02 PM

I have not noticed Trump freaking out, I think he is to busy trying to keep this country from a complete socialist takeover thank God.

Fred P. July 22, 2019 at 7:58 AM

“He’s freaking out?”
“He knows his impeachment is coming?”
“He knows the Mueller report isn’t going away?”
“He knows he’s committed other crimes?”
“He knows he can’t resign?”

Concordjet claims to know everything about Trump and domestic affairs.

We’re still waiting for you to prove how “he knows…”

Or are you just another sore loser that plays at being a know-it-all?

Collusion? July 24, 2019 at 10:36 AM

I can’t believe the Congressional Rats spent yesterday practicing for this Mueller train-wreck! Plan #4,763,223 to bring down the elected President of the United States has failed miserably. What is Plan #4,763,224?

The Wizard July 20, 2019 at 10:30 AM

Epstein is allowed only one cell mate and that will be Bill Clinton.

Obvious to the most casual observer July 20, 2019 at 11:14 AM

Quote of the day: Trump uses Twitter like a laser pointer, and the left is a bunch of cats.

The Wizard July 20, 2019 at 1:25 PM

So True

Atticus Thraxx July 21, 2019 at 2:55 PM

Imagine Trump with a laser pointer? Bet his staff hides them. How many times you think he’d point it at his own eye to see where the light came from? Over/under is six before they locked them all up. I mean this is a cat who despite being warned repeatedly not to, looked directly at a solar eclipse. Twice. Your champion is a half wit on a good day, and he hasn’t had many good days. But yeah, the libs are the problem.

Gittyup July 21, 2019 at 4:23 PM

The Squad has a limited attention span, as you can well imagine. Trump uses this to his advantage, because every time he lobs one at them, they flit from here to there defending their traitorous agenda and appearing on camera wearing their usual indignant demeanors. Their staff must be on the phone all day every day calling the press to arrange sound bites.

Meanwhile, Trump just goes on draining the swamp. I hear he has another Supreme Court judge to appoint.

Rent-Control July 21, 2019 at 6:50 PM

Poor Thraxx has Trump living rent-free between his ears. He can’t evict him, and he can’t raise the rent.

mtzman July 20, 2019 at 6:36 PM

Ricardoh, you answered my query regarding MAGA and I read it but didn’t get a chance to respond before the thread was closed. I remember there was trade deficits, 17 auto burglaries in Clayton, not locking on’s door, and a few other things.Would you be willing to repost it here? Much appreciated!

Ricardoh July 21, 2019 at 12:02 PM

mtzman. Glad you got a chance to read it. About an hour after I posted it I went back to copy it so I could repost it if you hadn’t seen it in that article. Alas it was gone and lost forever. I hope what I wrote wasn’t why the whole article was removed. Surprisingly the story made the news on 902 last night with their usual leftist biased view.

Silva July 21, 2019 at 6:05 PM

Does anyone know why the story went bye bye? Did it just degrade into the usual pointless free for all? Usually the Mayor just closes comments for that.

mtzman July 21, 2019 at 7:56 PM

I rarely agree with Ricardoh but I can’t imagine his reply caused the thread to go away. Like I said, it was the first time anyone has offered anything remotely close to a description of MAGA, so he should be celebrated! Of course, I will have more to say later …

Dr. Jellyfinger July 21, 2019 at 10:09 PM

Well…. the story is active on Yelp!
379 reviews now…. from as far away as Seattle and Los Angeles… San Francisco, Santa Clara, Salt Lake City… lots of vile, hate filled comments. Nice smear job. I don’t know why Yelp! is allowing this in violation of it’s guidelines.

mtzman July 22, 2019 at 8:05 AM

Of course, that would be countered by all of the others who had never heard of the place but were now going to come out and support him. I wonder how business actually was over the weekend and what it will be in the continuing weeks ahead.

Original G July 21, 2019 at 3:33 PM

Original G July 21, 2019 at 7:46 PM

Liberal snowflakes probably won’t be able to figure out what all the fuss was about.
“A Facebook video of a man climbing a flag pole at the Navy SEAL monument in Virginia Beach has commanded major attention and respect on social media. ”

Randy July 22, 2019 at 7:47 AM

Trump has not built a single new mile of border wall.

Another failure in a long list.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 22, 2019 at 11:55 AM

Not quite true Randy… Trump has replaced old & dilapidated sections of old wall & fencing that existed in some critical areas with new wall… 50 miles of it so far.

No new wall has been constructed in the open areas where none had existed….yet.

Mike Cody July 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM

looks like Randy now wants the wall?To not build it is failing? Is someone immitating him right now or did he grow a brain? He just likes to put down liberals even at his own expense.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 22, 2019 at 8:16 AM

Bernie Sanders called out by his own staffers for not paying them the $15.00 per hour that he proposes for the entire country to adopt as minimum wage… so Bernie caves and is now paying $15.00 per hour to all those fine folks trying to get him elected…… except….. HE CUT THEIR HOURS!

Fred P. July 22, 2019 at 8:29 AM

Another example of the liberals’ hypocrisy.

Gittyup July 26, 2019 at 12:22 PM

This gives one remarkable insight into Bernie Sanders” understanding of economics and his campaign promises to provide free college tuition to everyone. Only problem would be you could only go part-time and it would take you eight years to get a degree.

Randy July 22, 2019 at 9:48 AM

This isn’t democracy. WTH What other countries do with dissension is next jail, go missing, firing squad.

Conway told Fox News Tuesday that Trump’s “go back” demands toward the progressive House Democratic “Squad” is not limited to them, and instead is directed at any and all liberals who don’t support the Trump administration’s policies.

Jojo Potato July 22, 2019 at 10:51 AM

This is the America that Kellyann wants? Sorry but I don’t support everything that any administration does. And I fight for what I think is right. I realize she has gotten into a high position by supporting Mr. Trump whatever he does, that’s one strategy fot career advancement. I would prefer leaders who actually lead.

Fred P. July 22, 2019 at 11:07 AM

Randy – the US is a democratic republic, not a “democracy.”

Obviously, the concept is still lost on you.

HappyPappy July 22, 2019 at 11:48 AM

Randy would have had to make it to 12th grade Civics to know the difference. He, once again, demonstrates his lack of education.
Now I ain’t sayin’ he’s a bad guy…….just ignorant.

Fred p. July 22, 2019 at 1:38 PM

Happy – my mistake. I should have realized, given his proclivity to posting inane messages without any knowledge of the subject.

JWB July 22, 2019 at 2:14 PM

… before mocking others you may want to educate yourself first.

The USA is a Constitutional Republic and not a Democratic Republic.

Fred P. July 22, 2019 at 3:49 PM

I stand corrected. You are correct. However, it is NOT a democracy.

Let’s see if randy is willing to step up and admit his errors.

Rollo Tomasi July 23, 2019 at 5:08 PM

Wow, look at that. Unlike someone else who will go unmentioned, Fred P actually knows how to react when someone else points out a factual error.

HappyPappy July 22, 2019 at 10:33 AM

Last Friday, President Trump was at 49 % approval rating in the Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, four points higher than Mr. Gunrunner, exactly eight years ago.
These very good approval numbers are despite what many of you mental midgets have described as a bad week for the president with his “unforced error” of going after the four so called patriots of the “Jihad Squad” and saying that if America is so bad, they are welcome to “go back” to somewhere, anywhere, that is more to their liking.
Pretty good advice, maybe some of you right here should consider it.

Jojo Potato July 22, 2019 at 11:24 AM

Too bad Pappy: We are staying right here and making America a better place. Not just dreaming about the good old days. And BTW, the term Jihad Squad” was invented by a GOP group which has since apologized for the rude poster that they created. See:

Enjoy your Monday.

Rollo Tomasi July 23, 2019 at 6:26 AM

I hadn’t seen that one. I’ll stick with “The Squat”, which I think I saw for the first time right here on

HappyPappy July 22, 2019 at 12:14 PM

Hey kids it looks like Donald Trump President of the Unites States of America, was right all along about Puerto Rico, with protests blowing apart lying democrats’ hurricane BEE ESS.
Democrats have whined, sniveled, and lied for years on the fake narrative that President Trump was always trying to hold down Puerto Rico.
Exactly like the liars did on President Bush after Hurricane Katrina, they brayed that P.R. ravaged as it was by Hurricane Maria in 2017, was intentionally not getting the aid it needed, all because Trump was a racist who hated them. Remember this manufactured crap from democratic party standard-bearer, Hillary-the beast- Clinton, who said she wasn’t sure Trump actually knew that P.R’s. are citizens? This is an actual narrative from themselves, and the lying snakes force-fed it to you the moment the hurricane touched down in 2017.
Trump tried to tell us that the crooked P.R. government, top-heavy as it is with Trump-hating left-wing lunatics was the reason the aid wasn’t getting through. Trump immediately sent aid and was angry that it sat on the docks as P.R. leftist politicians postured for the press. Remember how San Juan’s crooked leftist mayor cried all those crocodile tears against Trump as the press fawned and incompetent crooked democrats claimed her as their own? Yet Trump said the aid was there, and it generally just went to waste, all because P.R. crooked officials — with clear ties to the Clinton machine, by the way — couldn’t lay off the corruption for just a few weeks.
Sooooo kids…….if you’ve been paying attention to the NEWS you’d know the truth by now. If not, you read it right here.

Randy July 22, 2019 at 12:39 PM

Let’s now get rid of opposing views

Donald J. Trump
Fake News Equals the Enemy of the People!

Fred P, July 22, 2019 at 1:42 PM

Randy’s already been trying for months to stifle opposing viewpoints.

Then look at what the democrats have been doing with their insults – more of the same.

How’s that hypocrisy working for ya, snowflake? Yup – the democrat party….. party of tolerance, inclusiveness and tolerance.

As long as you agree with them.

Go pound sand, randy…

Randy July 22, 2019 at 3:47 PM

HapptPappy July 24, 2019 at 7:33 AM

Somebody should explain to this jackass that it’s congress that makes budgets. Should have stayed in school and paid attention in 12th grade Civics.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 23, 2019 at 8:00 AM

It looks like the bloody British are following our lead and have chosen Boris Johnson (Trump Lite) as their new Prime Minister!

I say “Good Show” and “Jolly Well Done”!

Dr. Jellyfinger July 23, 2019 at 8:34 AM

“Detractors call Johnson buffoonish and unprincipled, reckless and feckless. Admirers consider him refreshingly anti-establishment, bracingly unfiltered in his utterances, far smarter than he’s given credit for, with an Everyman appeal that belies his posh pedigree.”

Here’s a better article about Boris… he even looks like Trump.

Original G July 23, 2019 at 8:57 AM

Living the socialist dream striving to change America by working for bernie’s presidential campaign. Not so much.

Bernie Sanders is called a hypocrite and mercilessly mocked online after the socialist firebrand admits he will have to CUT the hours of staffers so that he can pay them the $15 minimum wage he is campaigning for’

Randy July 23, 2019 at 9:54 AM

The Tea Party died today as republicans raised the debt ceiling indefinitely. All their budget controls gone.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 23, 2019 at 10:59 PM

Dr. Jellyfinger July 24, 2019 at 8:59 AM

You’re telling me to do your homework?
No thanks.

Randy July 24, 2019 at 11:15 AM

This is a thread on a blog. There’s too many rules as it is. If you google it you will find many articles and many sources not just one you would say I cherry pick like so many others do on here. A link means nothing. Try it you will learn a lot.

Rollo Tomasi July 24, 2019 at 7:46 PM

Randy, you made the claim, you support the claim. That’s how discussion/debate works. Of course, you’d have had to do something other than pick your nose during your “education” to know that.

The Mueller Tap Dance is on. (Except that Mueller appears to have lead feet).

PJ Media’s Stephan Green is “Drunkblogging the Mueller Hearing”. Some gems so far:

“Mueller seems to have prepared for this hearing by napping heavily.”

“I’ve been having doubts for the last half-hour or so, whether Mueller still has all his faculties.”

Dr. Jellyfinger July 24, 2019 at 8:09 AM

Mueller is doing his best to answer Democrat questioning positively and for Republicans it’s :

“Not in my purveiw”
“I’m not going to get into that”
“I can’t speak to that”
“Rely on what’s in the report”
“I have no recollection”

Big surprise….. right?

Collusion? July 24, 2019 at 8:17 AM

Mueller: “We did not address collusion, which is not a legal term,”

The entire Never-Trump agenda has been full of Schiff since the very beginning.

Justifiable anger July 24, 2019 at 8:27 AM

That’s not within my purview”.

This is Mueller disrespecting the hearing and the American People. Will he be above the law, like so many other politicians? Will American citizens continue to pretend there isn’t a double standard?

Haha, he looks like he just swallowed a tomato worm.

Gittyup July 24, 2019 at 9:16 AM

The crux of the problem is detailed and highlighted in this five-minute video where Rep. Jim Jordan questions Mueller on why he did not charge Mifson, the Professor who started the whole conspiracy rumor, with lying when he had charged so many others .Democrats have shot themselves in tge foot, AGAIN.

Silva July 24, 2019 at 11:11 AM

Now we’re all back to hating on Mueller again.😉

Rollo Tomasi July 24, 2019 at 7:38 PM

Silva, this can’t possibly be a surprise to you. If you care enough, go back in the archives of the politics section. You’ll find that I’ve addressed this very thing multiple times. I’ll call it “ The Comey Trajectory”. You may use that at your pleasure.

Randy July 24, 2019 at 8:55 AM

Qver/under on the number of lies in trump’s tweets after the hearing. Vegas has it at 75 lies. Easy money.

Rollo Tomasi July 24, 2019 at 7:48 PM

Original G July 24, 2019 at 3:34 PM

PLEASE ! ! ! …
Don’t anyone suggest to AOC, “aliens” are being held at AREA 51.

Gittyup July 24, 2019 at 5:39 PM

Apparently, mainstream media has been instructed to downplay today’s testimony by Robert Mueller because, of course, it was damning to the liberal obsession with their much ballyhooed “Rusian conspiracy” attacks on President Trump. Piers Morgan, in Daily Mail, gives what appears to be the most objective assessment I’ve seen.

Original G July 24, 2019 at 6:28 PM

pelosi held news conference after Mueller “testimony” with cummings, schiff and nadler. Each made statements that will be used by the alphebet media in place of actual committee questions and answers by Mueller.

Along lines of the ‘Wrap Up Smear’ described by pelosi,
simply democrats conduct themselves in their normal ethical manner.

Gittyup July 24, 2019 at 10:31 PM

Pelosi was sluring her words so badly in one sound bite, she appeared to be three sheets to the wind.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 24, 2019 at 8:36 PM

Mueller refused to answer 206 questions!

And Democrats think “Trump” was obstructing justice?

Atticus Thraxx July 24, 2019 at 9:31 PM

I can’t finish reading this tonight, it’s too long and my eyes won’t stay open. Been a long day. Though not as long as Bob Mueller’s. I was struck by this particular exchange:

Adam Schiff: 00:13:49 That language comes from volume one, page 54. Apart from the Russians wanting to help Trump win, several individuals associated with the Trump campaign were also trying to make money during the campaign and transition. Is that correct?

Robert Mueller: 00:14:05 That is true.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:06 Paul Manafort was trying to make money or achieve debt forgiveness from a Russian oligarch.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:10 Generally, that is accurate.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:13 Michael Flynn was trying to make money from Turkey.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:15 True.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:17 Donald Trump was trying to make millions from a real estate deal in Moscow.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:21 To the extent you’re talking about the the hotel in Moscow?

Adam Schiff: 00:14:25 Yes.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:26 Yes.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:28 When your investigation looked into these matters, numerous Trump associates lied to your team, the grand jury, and to Congress.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:34 A number of persons that we interviewed in our investigation, it turns out, did lie.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:40 Mike Flynn lied.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:42 He was convicted of lying. Yes.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:44 George Papadopoulos was convicted of lying.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:46 True.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:47 Paul Manafort was convicted of lying.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:49 True.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:50 Paul Manafort, in fact, went so forest to encourage other people to lie.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:54 That is accurate.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:56 Manafort’s deputy Rick Gates lied.

Robert Mueller: 00:14:58 That is accurate.

Adam Schiff: 00:14:59 Michael Cohen, the President’s lawyer, was indicted for lying.

Robert Mueller: 00:15:03 True.

Adam Schiff: 00:15:04 He lied to stay on message with the President.

Robert Mueller: 00:15:06 Allegedly, by him.

Adam Schiff: 00:15:09 And when Donald Trump called your investigation a witch hunt, that was also false. Was it not?

Robert Mueller: 00:15:14 I’d like to think so. Yes.

Adam Schiff: 00:15:16 Well, your investigation is not a witch hunt. Is it?

Robert Mueller: 00:15:18 It is not a witch hunt.

Adam Schiff: 00:15:20 When the President said the Russian interference was a hoax, that was false. Wasn’t it?

Robert Mueller: 00:15:24 True.

Adam Schiff: 00:15:26 When he said it publicly, it was false.

Robert Mueller: 00:15:30 He did say publicly that it was false. Yes.

Here’s the entire transcript if you’re a glutton for punishment:
There’s a malignancy in the White House and it needs to be excised.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 24, 2019 at 10:12 PM

Yet the entire investigation was based upon a lie.

Forsythe July 25, 2019 at 7:14 AM

The Democrats really hurt their credibility when they attacked Justice Kavanaugh.

They are using similar tactics to try to overthrow President Trump.

Atticus Thraxx July 26, 2019 at 12:48 PM

You can shuffle, spin and flat out BS all you want Jelly. The president is ethically bereft. That’s not a subjective judgement, but an objective one. And he has surrounded himself with equally foul beings, because only the foul will have anything to do with him. You’re continued Hannity-inspired efforts to put lipstick on a pig just becomes more comical the more you type.
He will be gone one day and you’ll have to come to grips with the fact that you sold out whatever values you might have had, to a malevolent clown. Hopefully I’ll still be around to remind you all of that. 😉

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 1:06 PM

The other option was Hillary.
I rest my case.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 1:56 PM

Forsythe July 25, 2019 at 7:04 AM

Mueller was just a figurehead. We now know that Andrew Weissmann was the central player. Looking into the origins of the Russia Hoax will now be front and center in the news. (Although CNN, MSNBC, and the fake media will try to suppress the true story).

Two congressman, Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler have been subverting the Trump administration with subpoenas and other dirty tactics. It looks at though they will soon have to answer lots of questions from AG Barr.

Randy July 25, 2019 at 7:29 AM

Trump has to win in 2020 tp stay out of jail for four years.

Fred P. July 26, 2019 at 1:56 PM

Mike ,

It’s the one thing randy is good at. Let him have his delusions…

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 9:33 AM

I never noticed it until yesterday but Nadler is pretty close to the floor…..
He’s like the Danny Devito of Congress.
Nancy could stand to winch up her bra a few clicks too.

Anyway…. it is obvious that there is no unity for the House Dems.

Gittyup July 25, 2019 at 1:28 PM

OMG! They’re “merging” with her waistline!

Gittyup July 26, 2019 at 12:14 PM

You know, I’m thinking … Nancy Pelosi, …liberal … probably burned her bra in the ’70s … kinda explains it.

HappyPappy July 25, 2019 at 11:58 AM

Adam Schiff-less must be the one member of congress ever caught on tape trying his utmost to extract sleaze in the form of nude pictures of the president from two Russian comics who called him and offered the “compromising material.”
For two years Schiff-less has appeared on numerous cable not-news programs and stated that he absolutely had hard evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia to win the election and to do Putin’s bidding.
Schiff-less never had any such thing. It was all lies. Schiff-less was counting on the success of his other conspirators who were scrambling to implement his grand scheme.
He stupidly focused on the so-called twenty-minute-long Trump Tower meeting that was created by Fusion GPS and involved that Russian lawyer Natalia Veseinitskaya.
She met with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS both before and after that meeting that provided no information, but Simpson tried to imply something nefarious.
To this day, Schiff-less can’t let go of his insane belief that Don Jr. was up to no good.
Even after the Mueller Report was released, Schiff-less continued to say it proved collusion. He ignored the facts and continued fundraising on the issue. The man is a rabid dog with a poison bone he refuses to drop.

Justifiable anger July 26, 2019 at 6:33 AM

Well, if there was Russian collusion, it was Hillary, Fusion GPS, Obama and judge that granted the FISA warrent-for some reason his name is buried. Rosenstein, Steele, Page. Good golly the list is looong.

Anyway, back to Russian collusion, it is obvious it originated from Hillary and Obama. They figured Trump could never win the bid for presidency and therefore the perfect opposition. Which also explains the endless attack on our president.

HappyPappy July 25, 2019 at 12:13 PM

Donald Trump, the legally elected President of The United States of America has cooperated completely with this obscene witch hunt these past two-plus years.
He didn’t dodge or obstruct their hate-driven probe one iota.
Trump turned over every document requested to the investigation, over a million of them, and permitted every witness they subpoenaed to be interviewed.
Their indiscriminate round-up of people even remotely connected to the campaign and family financially ruined several of them who were never charged with anything. It was an evil enterprise.
That’s how they roll, those horrible excuses for human beings. Sadly there are low-brow un-informed people who thrive on hearing all the fabricated lies that are force-fed every day and night by a pathetic and crooked media.

Randy July 25, 2019 at 1:13 PM

As dr j would say no links no believe.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 1:45 PM

Randy, you should not quote me…

HappyPappy is stating his opinion on a series of events.
It would be impractical and unnecessary to post a link explaining the story behind each thing he expressed an opinion about.

When I posted that you should have provided a link it was in reference to one story:

“The Tea Party died today as republicans raised the debt ceiling indefinitely. All their budget controls gone”

It should have been easy enough for you to provide a link to this story, as it is I only saw one one article that said debt ceiling limits were suspended until 2021 (not indefinitely) no mention of “all budget controls gone” and no mention of the TEA Party whatsoever.

HappyPappy July 25, 2019 at 2:09 PM

Oh randy…….you’re such a silly wee fella.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 2:10 PM
JWB July 25, 2019 at 2:45 PM

Just glancing in here for a minute……

So HP says Trump cooperated completely with the investigation.

R asks for proof

J posts a number of links and just looking at the first one it says: “Trump claims unprecedented cooperation”

Wow you really think that constitutes proof? How in the world do you manage to turn on a computer?

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 4:47 PM

@ JWB ~ You need to put the cursor on the link and click on it… then the page pops up with the Washington Times story that tells you all about how the Trump administration provided 1.4 million documents to Mr. Meuller and sent 20 staffers to be interviewed by FBI agents.
That’s right, you have to read the story… not just the link!

Then if you are skeptical, you can do a search and confirm the story on other sites!

Remedial Internet lessons are over.

Randy, JWB, you are dismissed.

Randy July 25, 2019 at 5:00 PM

Dr j. Actually he’s stating facts that’s he pulling out of a hat most of them false.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 6:06 PM

@ Randy…. if you had even bothered to read that first article you’d know Trump is not quoted in it at all. His lawyers were the only ones interviewed “Team Trump”.

Trump himself, stated nothing!

You guys are just pathetic.

anotheranon July 25, 2019 at 7:27 PM

“Trump turned over every document requested to the investigation,”
What about those tax returns?

“and permitted every witness they subpoenaed to be interviewed.”
Except for those witnesses that were instructed NOT TO TESTIFY during their interview.

JWB July 25, 2019 at 7:49 PM

Wow Jelly…. his lawyers said it. You are a Mensa member.

Of course Mueller said something quite different about cooperation, pointing out destroyed evidence, encrypted communications un-cooperative witnesses and lastly confirmed that Trump in his written answers did not answer many of the questions and on the ones he did his answer was contradicted by the evidence the Mueller team already had….

But we all know Trump good …. anybody who is critical of Trump bad…..

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 8:03 PM

@ anotheranon ~ Who are you… the third Stooge?
Mueller never asked Trump for his tax returns, he didn’t have to!
He could see them just by asking the IRS service center if he has a numbered investigation.

Dems in Congress want the tax returns and Trump told them to pound sand.

I have no idea what you are referring to re:”witnesses that were instructed NOT TO TESTIFY during their interview”

Who? When? Post a link… I think you are FOS.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 9:38 PM

Compared to JWB we’re all MENSA members… remember JWB You said Trump made the claim…..WRONG.

Destroyed evidence? Nothing was destroyed or deleted after being subpoenaed (You must be thinking of Hillary).

Read this Genius:

“Here’s what the report said: “Some of the individuals we interviewed or whose conduct we investigated — including some associated with the Trump campaign — deleted relevant communications or communicated during the relevant period using applications that feature encryption or do not provide for long term retention of data or communication records. In such cases, the Office was not able to corroborate witness statements through comparison to contemporaneous communications or fully question witnesses about statements that appeared inconsistent with known facts.”

So… no hammers, no Bleach-Bit no missing SIM cards nothing like that used AFTER the items were requested as evidence.
Just normal security measures before any interest or request for the devices.

According to Mueller: “The president refused to sit for an interview with the special counsel’s office, agreeing only to answer written questions about Russian interference and possible coordination with his presidential campaign. He refused to answer questions about obstruction of justice, notably, and took a number of actions intended to disrupt, control and limit the investigation”.

Now I know Trump was aware he was being railroaded, but I don’t think he said:

“Not in my purveiw”
“I’m not going to get into that”
“I can’t speak to that”
“I have no recollection”

If he did indeed break the law, then go ahead & impeach him, or file charges when he leaves office. Go nuts.. it’s OK with me, but Mueller didn’t give anyone any encouragement to do it …. I wonder why?

You guys forget what I’ve said over and over… I don’t care who it is… if you break the law you need to be charged with a crime, if one actually occurred and the prosecution can prove it…. go for it!

I have every confidence that the A.G. will be putting Comey and Clinton behind bars.

Game on.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 9:48 PM

Oh and here’s the link to my source of that info.
Article definitely skews to the left.

Kirkwood July 25, 2019 at 1:27 PM

Went by Canesa’s today to check the atmosphere and get a sandwich. Found about a half dozen lined up outside the door and another half dozen nearby. Didn’t park and go in because I didn’t want to wait that long.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 2:08 PM

HappyPappy July 25, 2019 at 2:08 PM

“Nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded”

Yogi Berra

Mary Fouts July 25, 2019 at 2:20 PM

Kirkwood – I think the Clayton Mayor Catalano made an ameteur mistake in ranting about Canesa on Facebook. All she did was bring attention to him, which is just what he wants. Canesa seems to have the same makeup as Trump: There’s no such thing as bad publicity.

I would think Catalano’s time as Mayor would be better spent address Clayton’s current crime wave (17 burglaries/thefts as I recall in 1 recent week) and other resident concerns rather than ranting about a politically-charge resident on Facebook. Just my opinion.

Original G July 25, 2019 at 3:54 PM

Mary Fouts … Completely agree.
Publicity served to give Clayton a world wide audience. Likely could have been a low level or non event and under most persons radar.

Mary Fouts July 25, 2019 at 2:30 PM

Trump and Obstruction of Justice Charges – The Dems have a significant problem (as brought out in yesterday’s hearings) with their ongoing talk of charging Trump with obstruction of justice after he leaves office: That pesky old Statute of Limitation issue.

The Statute of Limitations for Obstruction of Justice is 5 years from the date the crime was committed. If Trump wins a 2nd term, and I believe that will be the case, he’ll be beyond the 5 yr limits once he is out of office.

What a waste of taxpayer time and money for the federal politicians to continue going down this road. Just wonder what the next Trump-related investigative matter will be. Some conspiracy regarding his hair wouldn’t surprise me, either.

Randy July 25, 2019 at 4:54 PM

What makes you think that it stopped then?

mtzman July 25, 2019 at 7:24 PM

I know it’s somewhat of an open question, but typically a statute of limitations is tolled while the subject is not amenable to prosecution.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 25, 2019 at 8:59 PM

I’d suggest asylums for all three of you guys.

Silva July 25, 2019 at 9:51 PM

He may well get away with all of the criminal behaviors carried out under our very noses. Maybe it isn’t popular to investigate, but left unchallenged we are extending any and all future openly corrupt office seekers an invitation and a pass to do the same. The pendulum will swing back. Next time it could be a dreaded leftist or a dem, maybe with the Senate stacked with dems.

Silva July 25, 2019 at 9:58 PM

It’s weird, but not a crime to encourage squirrels nesting in his hair. No one really cares about that.

Rollo Tomasi July 26, 2019 at 7:16 AM

Let’s stop with all the dancing around. “Criminal behaviors”? Please state specifically what CRIME or CRIMES was/were committed by Trump, present your evidence with supporting facts, and state specifically which section(s) of the US code was/were violated.

Rollo Tomasi July 25, 2019 at 7:44 PM

Rant Bot July 6, 2019 at 5:23 PM:
“Mueller testifies July 17? We attack Iran June 16. John Bolton welcomed back from Siberia!”

Silva July 6, 2019 at 6:32 PM:
“Yep. Something B I G is going to happen on the 16th.”

Now, I admit I’ve taken a nap or two since the start of Meuller’s hearings, but holy crap! Did I miss World War III?

Silva July 26, 2019 at 7:49 AM

Oo, busted.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 10:37 AM

No! Silva is NOT busted!

Her claim became “Predictum Non Countus” when Mueller postponed his appearance before Congress for a week so that he could work on his script.

Rollo Tomasi July 26, 2019 at 4:45 PM

Anyone with the sense of a fence post knew the Meuller hearings would be another nothing burger.

anotheranon July 26, 2019 at 1:40 AM

I do not appreciate being referred to as FOS, but then my supposition would be that your vocabulary is rather limited, and your inclination is to attack those whose position differs from yours. For your information, here’s a link to just ONE instance of a witness, Don McGahn, being instructed by Trump to NOT TESTIFY before Congress. There were several others; you might recall Trump’s former communications director, Hope Hicks was so instructed.
My best to you and yours, and may your rehab be successful, although the signs indicate otherwise.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 9:43 AM

@ anotheranon ~ Like it or not… you are wrong.

We are talking about “The Mueller Investigation” not about Democrats whining in Congress….. that isn’t the FBI investigation.

You don’t know what you’re talking about… you don’t even know what WE were talking about!

Democrats want Trump’s former lawyer to testify?
Trump can tell Congress to go jump in the lake, they can’t force his lawyer to testify against his client!
Trump is just sick & tired of their endless BS.

Even so, McGahn DID voluntarily submit to 30 hours of being interviewed by Mueller’s team for that investigation (the one we were talking about before you butted in crying about Congress!).

Get it together!

And work on your snarkiness too… you are way outa your league.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 8:34 AM

So here’s the difference… Comey exonerated Hillary after proving she lied repeatedly. No charges, zippo! nada… fly free Hillary!

Mueller did not prove Trump committed any crime:

Mueller claimed re:Charge of Obstruction “based on the FACTS and the applicable legal standard, we were unable to reach that judgement”

Mueller claimed we had to take into account the OLC opinion that a sitting President can not be indicted…. but later on:

No exoneration and Congress Democrats cry for impeachment and jail.

Forsythe July 26, 2019 at 8:53 AM

The Mueller Hoax. A quote from Rush Limbaugh:

“I’d love to go back to the archives and find the first time I said that I don’t think Mueller is anything but a figurehead. He was “of counsel.”

Designed to give the air of Washington nonpartisanship.

This was a gigantic gotcha by a bunch of pro-Hillary lawyers, led by Andrew Weissmann.”

HappyPappy July 26, 2019 at 10:25 AM

The Robert Mueller folly debacle has played out and some leftist demoRats are waking to honestly assess the damage. They all stupidly sought to swing a presidential election and force a coup, realizing only now what that did to the demoRats.
Do you think they regret the role that the Trump-hating media played in pushing a criminal effort whose backlash is now coming into view,?
The long overdue investigation of the investigators is using grand juries in secret to identify the laws that were broken by those criminals who pushed into illegal action the intelligence and law enforcement tools of the federal govt to spy on a presidential campaign and ceremoniously kick Trump out of office?
Nobody still earning a paycheck from any of those smarmy guilty media organization is willing to fess up yet, however an ex-host on MSNBS, Krystal Ball, now employed by Hill TV has come out. In a six-minute segment on Hill TV, Ball unburdened herself. Of course she soft-peddled her comments. Probably out of fear of the wrath she knows they can employ.
Ball stated that at times MSNBC engaged in “Infowars conspiracy theory” on Russia and “this whole setup has done more damage to the Democrats’ chances of winning back the White House than anything that Trump could ever have done.”

She further stated, “having worked at that network for five years, nearly all the anchors and the commentators there got swept up in the ratings bubble that was feverish Russian conspiracy theories. At MSNBC, as in all things, systems and incentives are far more important for analyzing any particular situation than individual personalities. However, I dare to say, some talent did drink more deeply of the Russia conspiracy waters than others. Rachel Maddow, you’ve got some explaining to do.”

Ball specifically cited the network having New Yorker writer Jonathan Chait and Louise Mensch on and stated, “Seriously, this is not journalism. It is Infowars conspiracy theory.”
How many other so called “journalists” are brave enough to come out and admit what that did and the destructive effects they personally participated in that helped further the destructive plan to destroy a president and his supporters, and the very fabric of my country?
I ain’t holding my breath!

Randy July 26, 2019 at 1:05 PM

A coup. How? Where?

And the President of the United States is still saying that the free and independent media is the enemy of the people?

When you say coup you better look closer to home. N

JWB July 26, 2019 at 1:42 PM

there must be something broken in this thread…….

No a single comment on the 2018 GDP growth? I recall that the usual Claycord Posse had lots of comments during the Obama years….

Let’s see I believe the stable genius promised growth of at least 3-4% on an annual basis and maybe even more.

2017 2.2%
2018 2.5%

What happened? Looks like Trump’s magic wand is not that magical after all…….

On top of that government spending grew at 7.9% in Q2 19 which is the highest increase since Q2 09 when there was the stimulus. Spending growth was negative in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014, and nearly zero back in 2015 and 2016. I thought you were all for small government?

Nonresidential fixed investment fell 0.6% which was supposed to be boosted by the greatest ever tax cut.

But hey let’s just tweet about the best economy ever ……

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 2:03 PM

You can’t always get what you want… but if you try sometime, you just might find…. you’ll get what you need.

Jojo Potato July 26, 2019 at 3:23 PM

@JWB You are missing the point, whatever Mr. Trump says is true. If it’s not actually true then the party will explain why it’s all fake information made up by evil main stream media. And then you will join in supporting the Man against the evil attacks from the other party. Since anything reported as bad news is obviously a creation of the bad guys. Makes sense, right!

JWB July 26, 2019 at 3:56 PM

sure …. it seems pretty clear the Tea Party had nothing to do with being fiscally conservative and everything with the person that was in the office …. Otherwise you would be all outraged with these numbers.

HappyPappy July 26, 2019 at 4:48 PM

The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday handed President Donald Trump a victory by letting his administration redirect $2.5 billion in money approved by Congress for the Pentagon to help build his promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border even though lawmakers refused to provide funding.

Dr. Jellyfinger July 26, 2019 at 6:25 PM

It’s a start!

Tough week for the Blue Team though…. let’s keep that going.
