well… he was found not guilty. He was not found innocent. They are two different things. I think it was a bad verdict, but I wasn’t on the jury. So, my actual answer is I think he did it.

Chicken Little June 13, 2019 - 10:30 AM - 10:30 AM

There’s no such thing as an “Innocent” ruling. “Not Guilty” is the same thing.

Silva June 12, 2019 - 12:05 PM - 12:05 PM

Of course the psycho did it.

Roz June 12, 2019 - 12:48 PM - 12:48 PM

I was going to says ‘duh, yeah’,….but I like your comment better.

Judilee June 12, 2019 - 5:07 PM - 5:07 PM

Definitely guilty! That crime has never been solved because the one who did do it, was found not guilty because the prosecution screwed up.

I dunno, maybe someone should check the DNA evidence, oh wait…

Concord74 June 12, 2019 - 12:28 PM - 12:28 PM

I say “GUILTY”!!!!

Since the “jury” was stacked, how could he be found guilty???

Dawg June 12, 2019 - 12:32 PM - 12:32 PM

From day one of the murders, there was never a doubt in my mind that O.J. is guilty. In his book, If I Did It, and in a 2006 interview, a laughing O.J. described hypothetically how he murdered Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson.
I also believe that he is a self centered sociopath because everything about him points to a lack of conscience and empathy.

anon June 12, 2019 - 1:04 PM - 1:04 PM

You are 1000% correct – could not have said it better myself

West Leland June 12, 2019 - 3:36 PM - 3:36 PM

That book actually was written by somebody else for OJ. That said I figured it was common knowledge that he was guilty, he even stopped taking his blood pressure meds during the trial just so that the glove wouldn’t fit anymore when he took the stand

Hanne Jeppesen June 13, 2019 - 12:13 AM - 12:13 AM

Yes, I believe he did it, but did not think so in the beginning. I’m not a sports fan, but did of course know of O.J. he was in movies (The Towering Inferno) and had done commercials for Avis I believe, to a casual observer he seemed like a good guy, it didn’t hurt that he was quite handsome. As for believing he was quality from the day, that is something that I’m uncomfortable with, it means you are making a snap emotional judgement without any of the facts. However, as the facts of the case became known it was obvious that O.J. was and is guilty of those 2 murders.

wave June 12, 2019 - 12:34 PM - 12:34 PM

No doubt about it….he’s guilty as hell.

martinezmike June 12, 2019 - 12:35 PM - 12:35 PM

O.J. is still searching for the real killers.

Mac June 14, 2019 - 9:36 AM - 9:36 AM

Bahahahahah

Pony June 12, 2019 - 12:40 PM - 12:40 PM

If the juice is innocent then so is Scott Peterson. No way either deserve anything but the death penalty

Ricardoh June 12, 2019 - 12:45 PM - 12:45 PM

Too bad the prosecution didn’t get the bloody shoe print connection. Never will understand that. LAPD, what can you say?

Whoe Jim June 12, 2019 - 12:45 PM - 12:45 PM

Nicole kept a pic of her face beaten by O.J. which was taken by an earlier police report. She wrote on it if any thing ever bad happens to me, this is the man who did it. While not proof of murder, she was warning them of the possibility. He did it…..

Sandy G June 12, 2019 - 12:51 PM - 12:51 PM

Unfortunately I think he did it
I blame the verdict on Mark Furman

anon June 12, 2019 - 2:25 PM - 2:25 PM

Blacks on the jury could not go back to their homes after convicting him
…. they did not get the DNA connection & big deal if Fuhrman (correct spelling said the “N” word…like blacks do not say it?? This means OJ didn’t do it ?? Deal with reality

Future Catlady June 12, 2019 - 1:11 PM - 1:11 PM

I find it absurd that this “anniversary” was brought up on the news this morning. This must be particularly painful for the Brown and Goldman families, especially the grown children.

Concordejet June 12, 2019 - 1:13 PM - 1:13 PM

What made you decided whether he guilty or not just because you watch it on TV all day long back in 1995?

Silva June 12, 2019 - 3:14 PM - 3:14 PM

Yep.

Kentucky Derby June 12, 2019 - 1:18 PM - 1:18 PM

I remember reading that Simpson’s nephew said “you know he did it” and Simpson’s sister slapped him in the car. Chris Rock reminds black folks to “keep it real.” I think the black community had this one down-packed a long time ago…

Stephen June 12, 2019 - 1:20 PM - 1:20 PM

The “people” of the State of California found him “not guilty.” The jury in his civil trial found him “guilty.” The question is moot now. But it was a forerunner to the age we now live in, where cash buys freedom … or maybe “not guilt.”

I personally find him guilty. I prefer to believe that DNA doesn’t lie …. people do.

Al Cowling June 12, 2019 - 1:26 PM - 1:26 PM

“….and on that note we are going to go straight to Marcia Clark for her comments. Marcia what are your thought.”

“I thought Christopher Darden was so hot, that I was really distracted from my job of proving that murder was guilty…If I had the trial all over again, I’d say no more late night dates at McDonalds trying to prove Kato innocent.

concerned June 12, 2019 - 1:33 PM - 1:33 PM

He is guilty always thought about the glove not fitting if he didn’t have that rubber glove on his hand when he tried on glove it would of fit

Silva June 12, 2019 - 3:11 PM - 3:11 PM

That and the way he spread out his hand and fingers too. No one could put a glove on with a rubber glove underneath the way he held his hand open and spread as wide as he could make it.

Commonsensenor June 12, 2019 - 1:38 PM - 1:38 PM

For anyone living through the murder, then the trail, it was pretty cut and dry that OJ did it. From the disguise, cash, saying he was going to commit suicide etc. it was obvious he was fleeing from what he did. Through incompetent prosecutors OJ walked free.

JJ June 12, 2019 - 1:53 PM - 1:53 PM

GUILTY

Kentucky Derby June 12, 2019 - 2:00 PM - 2:00 PM

It was jury nullification that freed Simpson. Sadly, it happens. Trials are won and lost in jury selection. I’ve always believed that we should have professional jurors. Jurors who understand the law, and will follow the judges instructions. Not all jurors will do that.

Rollo Tomasi June 12, 2019 - 2:12 PM - 2:12 PM

He didn’t escape.

Mountainside Jay June 12, 2019 - 2:43 PM - 2:43 PM

I think he was guilty but the rich can always buy themselves out of a murder rap or anything else

mtzman June 12, 2019 - 2:43 PM - 2:43 PM

Both verdicts were correct. The state failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt, but the plaintiffs did prove him responsible by a preponderance of the evidence. Different standards of proof, different results, but both quite correct.

Rollo Tomasi June 13, 2019 - 12:06 AM - 12:06 AM

“Both verdicts were correct.“

An ignorant jury and an incompetent prosecution creates some doubt in that conclusion.

mtzman June 14, 2019 - 8:31 AM - 8:31 AM

It’s been 25 years and I have forgotten many of the details, but circumstantial evidence cases are always tougher to prove. What I do recall is that there were no witnesses to the murders, no confession, problems with the DNA evidence and the chain of custody, and the perjured testimony of Mark Fuhrman for the prosecutors to deal with.

Rollo Tomasi June 14, 2019 - 12:09 PM - 12:09 PM

In the sense that a verdict is a decision based on procedure, likely correct. A tragically large percentage of people believe a verdict is a determination of guilt or innocence. In that sense, totally incorrect.

mtzman June 14, 2019 - 1:40 PM - 1:40 PM

Which is why both verdicts, in my opinion, were the correct ones. Those who have argued here, for example, that they were not convinced of his innocence missed one of the central principles of our constitutional system of justice, i.e., the presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Rollo Tomasi June 16, 2019 - 8:43 PM - 8:43 PM

“…the presumption of innocence until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”

One of the most important pillars of our society, and it applies to every individual- including President Trump. Please inform the rest of the leftists.

The Wizard June 12, 2019 - 2:55 PM - 2:55 PM

Boil Him !

Namen June 12, 2019 - 2:56 PM - 2:56 PM

The glove didn’t fit ☺☺

Gittyup June 12, 2019 - 3:12 PM - 3:12 PM

“… attempted escape …” Botched just like the murder and screaming “I did it!”

Gittyup June 12, 2019 - 3:18 PM - 3:18 PM

Somebody is messing with my WiFi/internet connection today and this got posted elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the defense did a number on the prosecution who weren’t really equipped for such a highfalutin team of attorneys. The gloves didn’t fit because they had been wet, exposed to the rain and sun, and like leather will do, they shrunk and were very, very stiff. It didn’t take much effort on Simpson’s part to make it look like he couldn’t get them on.

I thought he was guilty immediately — but, I held out to hear the evidence and I was not convinced of his innocence by it. The jury verdict was a shock to me. The murder was brutal, the murderer filled with rage and Simpson was the most likely perpetrator.

Silva June 12, 2019 - 3:37 PM - 3:37 PM

At lunch one afternoon I watched F. Lee Bailey skewering Mark Fuhrman with his own voice recording. When I got back to the office that day I told my colleagues that OJ was going to beat the rap. The stupid glove display was just the cherry on top.

Roz June 12, 2019 - 4:19 PM - 4:19 PM

Totally agree,…the glove with the fingers spread to make it look like it did not fit.

Dr. Jellyfinger June 12, 2019 - 9:24 PM - 9:24 PM

Soak a nice leather glove in blood (or water or whatever) and guess what happens when it dries?

Does it take more than common sense to figure out that it would shrink?

concerened June 12, 2019 - 3:38 PM - 3:38 PM

because he had a latex glove on his hand if he didn’t it would

PO'd June 12, 2019 - 4:10 PM - 4:10 PM

If he was innocent, then why the slow speed white Bronco chase, with his gun at his head and threats of suicide?
The Los Angeles County DA couldn’t prosecute Cain killing Able-totally inept.

Deannew June 12, 2019 - 4:42 PM - 4:42 PM

Watch the video on UTube when they announce the verdict. Watch Kardashian’s reaction.

Kentucky Derby June 12, 2019 - 4:49 PM - 4:49 PM

The verdict wasn’t a shock to me. I never expected the jury to convict. I was warned by a gentleman I worked with that certain people in his community would be celebrating. I told him that the prosecution, the defense, Mark Fuhrman, the glove, etc. was irrelevant. They made up their minds prior to the evidence. I told him the reason why I thought this was prior oppression, and having to return to their communities. He agreed. He thanked me for “getting his community” and we both went back to work. It was a sad and inappropriate conversation, but a truthful one.

Gittyup June 12, 2019 - 10:24 PM - 10:24 PM

In other words, a travesty of justice. Excuse me if I never “get” something like that.

S June 12, 2019 - 5:00 PM - 5:00 PM

cause he was trying to escape the injustice of being falsely accused. EVERYBODY know that!.

Gittyup June 12, 2019 - 10:02 PM - 10:02 PM

Nobody is buying that bs any longer.

S June 13, 2019 - 10:35 AM - 10:35 AM

Wut’s dat u say????

Gititogether June 12, 2019 - 5:56 PM - 5:56 PM

Never heard Simpson, his team of shysters, his supporters….or anyone, provide an alternate suspect. The jury had a chip on their shoulder(s) and sent a message. When competent prosecutors made their case in a civil trial, he was found guilty.

Chris June 12, 2019 - 5:58 PM - 5:58 PM

I always wish I could have heard the conversation between A.C. and O.J. during that famous Brocho ride.

JazzMan June 12, 2019 - 7:36 PM - 7:36 PM

He’s had issues lately, but of THAT crime, Not guilty.

Rollo Tomasi June 13, 2019 - 8:49 AM - 8:49 AM

You would have been a good fit for that jury.

Eastbay Babe June 12, 2019 - 8:51 PM - 8:51 PM

OJ is innocent. Whose black car did it belong to that drove off that night from OJ’s Rockingham property.? Wasn’t OJ, nor Arnelle nor Kato. Someone else was on that Rockingham property that night. I strongly believe it was OJ’s son Jason.

Danielle Maroney June 12, 2019 - 9:39 PM - 9:39 PM

Did it ever occur to anybody that Nicole’s lifestyle is what got her killed? No, that’s because everybody is so focused on that famous LA chase in that white Bronco. Nobody ever talks about that Nicole had a cocaine habit, that she couldn’t afford to pay off. That alone can get you killed. Or that she was a ho and was giving it up to various men. Maybe it was one of them, she was also involved in sex parties. Nobody ever talks about this woman’s checkered past. She was no angel, and I’m sick and tired of people making her out to be because she’s a blond white woman. Perhaps if some of you people who believe he’s guilty, look in to Nicole’s scandalous life, you would think a little bit differently.

Gittyup June 12, 2019 - 9:56 PM - 9:56 PM

Right, blame the victim! She didn’t deserve to die like that even if those things you itemize are true. Because she was a blonde white woman? Get real! If that were true he would have been convicted.

Cowellian June 12, 2019 - 10:10 PM - 10:10 PM

Nice job of blaming the victim. Her lifestyle did not make it OK for OJ to kill her.

Dawg June 13, 2019 - 12:39 AM - 12:39 AM

Danielle, have you seen the pictures of Nicole’s body and how gruesome they are? Her throat was cut open from ear to ear and her head was nearly decapitated. This wasn’t a murder committed by someone who was upset because she didn’t pay her drug dealer, it was a murder filled with passion and anger.
You can go to Google and type in “Nicole Simpson murder scene,” click on images and see for yourself. The pictures are very graphic.

MEV June 14, 2019 - 12:25 AM - 12:25 AM

Wow! OJ was doing the same, as many of us were also during that decade. What proof do you have? If it is Faye Resnick’s book, that was pretty much written by a ghost writer from the National Enquirer.

Mojo Nixon sang about his feelings on this topic.

Well, Orenthal James, he was a mighty bad man
Killed two people last night
Chopped off their heads in West L.A.
Must have been a mighty sharp knife, poor boy
Must have been a mighty sharp knife

Yeah, one was his ex-wife, the other one, her lover
Orenthal was a very jealous man
Hid in the bushes and began to mutter
“If I can’t have her, nobody else can”
“If I can’t have her, nobody else can”
(Poor boy, poor boy, poor boy, poor boy)

Well, he flew to Chicago, two cuts on his hand
The bodies discovered too fast
His out-of-town alibi gone up in smoke
Now we find out he got a wife-beatin’ past
Found out he got a wife-beatin’ past
(Poor boy, poor boy)

Yeah, they threw him in jail and they brought him to trial
Orenthal hired million-dollar attorneys
Told so many lies, I almost went blind
If he didn’t do it, who did, poor boy
If he didn’t do it, who did?
(Poor boy, poor boy, poor boy)

1, 2, 3, 4
Yeah
Poor boy

Well, Orenthal had a motive and an opportunity, too
Planned it all and tried to escape
Wrote a suicide note but he wasn’t man enough
Speak the truth and sealed his fate, poor boy
Speak the truth and sealed his fate
(Poor boy, poor boy)

Yeah, there was blood in the car and blood on his clothes
Though they never did find that knife
Smiled for the cameras and bought him some justice
He got away with killin’ his wife, poor boy
He got away with killin’ his wife (Poor boy, poor boy)
Poor boy (poor boy, poor boy)

When the foreman returned and he said, “Not guilty”
I couldn’t believe my ears
Orenthal James is a mighty bad man
Ought to be in jail for 400 years
Servin’ time for 400 years

(Poor boy, poor boy)
I gotta tell you one more thing
(Poor boy, poor boy)

Yeah, Orenthal James killed his bimbo ex-wife
Mama of his children, too
Been in Hollywood so long he starts to believe the big lie
Don’t let that happen to you, poor boy
Don’t let that happen to you, poor boy
Don’t let that happen to you, poor boy
Don’t let that happen to you (poor boy, poor boy)
Poor boy (poor boy)
Poor boy (poor boy)
Poor boy, poor boy
Poor boy, poor boy
Poor boy (poor boy, poor boy, poor boy)

Well, Orenthal James, he was a mighty bad man
He killed two people last night
Chopped off their heads in West L.A.
Must have been a mighty sharp knife, poor boy
Must have been a mighty sharp knife

Sam Malone June 13, 2019 - 8:42 AM - 8:42 AM

Guilty. The trial and the ensuing media coverage was a total joke. Our justice system is a joke.

Ilovepopcorn June 13, 2019 - 9:28 AM - 9:28 AM

He killed two people and he knows it. We know it, his defense attorneys know it. Now that is the truth.

JustMe June 13, 2019 - 10:15 AM - 10:15 AM

Of course he did it, and he got away with it. It was a fit of rage.

Chicken Little June 13, 2019 - 10:29 AM - 10:29 AM

I believe, given the evidence presented, that the jury reached the right decision. But I also believe that he did actually commit the murders.

Anon June 13, 2019 - 10:45 AM - 10:45 AM

Guilty, but nobody has mentioned the reason he walked……because they did not want a repeat of the Rodney King riots.

TheHUT June 13, 2019 - 11:45 PM - 11:45 PM

I heard Orenthal and Casey Anthony are dating now?

Justin June 14, 2019 - 3:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Look 👀 I’m just saying that if I was going to kill someone I would definitely use gloves to kill someone because it would help with concealing my finger printsAnd I would definitely use a glove that was smaller than my hand because it would throw police off because they be looking for somebody with that same size hand that would fit a glove at O’Jays is bigger so we threw the cops offIf you’re going to think and solve a crime from a guy who committed to something Heynis And he’s obviously a psychopath so you need to cycle path to catch one I’m not saying I’m a psychopath but I’ve had those thoughts but I’d never do it because it’s wrong
