Vehicle Involved In Fatal North Concord Crash Has Driver’s Side Bullet Holes

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a woman in a solo-vehicle crash on hwy.4 in North Concord whose vehicle had bullet holes in the driver’s side door, the CHP said.

The preliminary investigation is of a “suspicious death,” said CHP Officer Hannah Wolcott. Neither the woman’s name nor the nature of her injuries was released Saturday night.

The accident was first reported on Saturday afternoon when an eastbound silver Honda Accord veered first into the center divider and then across all eastbound lanes onto the Willow Pass Road exit offramp.

The eastbound Willow Pass Road off-ramp remains closed.

This latest crime is proof gun violence is escalating in California. Very disturbing. Rest In Peace young lady. I am so sorry you probably knew the person who did this. Bad company.

Can’t be true. California has some of the most strict gun laws in the country. So that should prevent gun violence.

It’s also illegal to commit murder. So the fact that people are murdering others is “surprising.” How could people still do things that are illegal?!

It isn’t “proof” of anything.

Do a little research and you will find gun violence is actually on the decline in California.

California has an average gun death rate of 8 per 100,000 people… and that includes suicides which account for over 60% of deaths by firearm.

The majority of gun crimes committed in California are attributable to gang violence by mostly Hispanic gangs.

Many members of those gangs are here illegally and enjoy sanctuary laws which makes them difficult to arrest or deport.

So if you really want to do something about gun violence, quit being a liberal bone head and start supporting immigration laws and tougher law enforcement.

May she Rest In Peace. Condolences to the victim’s family. I hope that the authorities find the shooter(s).

Thank you Claycord for updating the community.

Join the many who are escaping California. You’ll find cheaper gas, cheaper housing, cheaper just about everything, a more relaxed way of life and easier living. Many states do not have sales taxes either.

I am planning my move in the near future. Arizona, Texas, Nevada are on the short list.

Bob Foo March 17, 2019 at 1:22 PM

Problem is, a lot of the same people that ruined California are moving to those states for the same reason that you want to. And when they get there, they’ll vote to turn those states into the same place that they left. All under the guise of progressivism.

What?! March 17, 2019 at 9:34 AM

..what does sanctuary’s have to do with what happened here? Invation?? I’m missing part of the news then..

NotFunny March 17, 2019 at 11:47 AM

Hmm.”Suspicious death” with bullet holes in the door? I thought they were installing “shotspotter” technology there? What about all the gun laws? You cannot legislate against evil or lawlessness. Only decent people obey laws and they are getting less and less.

Dr. Jellyfinger March 17, 2019 at 2:14 PM

@What?! – Yes you are missing the news.
Try watching other news stations.
There are some that aren’t afraid to report ALL the news.

Anyway, since you asked….

Are you having trouble finding American born killers? They’re kinda everywhere.

This is so sad. The poor girl, she was so young. Prayers to her family and friends.

Earlier graphics on some news media showed a map depicting the accident/crime more towards San Marcos offramp in Bay Point, not Willow Pass Rd. in Concord.

Yesterday I was in North Concord took the eastbound on ramp to hwy 4 driving right into the gridlock associated with the accident, took me 40 mins to drive10 miles. I didn’t see any emergency response vehicles, cars involved or CHP.
only Concord Police officers. Just before Willow Pass exit there was chunks of cement and parts of the freeway asphalt gouged out leaving gravel at the exit. Eastbound Willow Pass exit was closed and it appeared as though no one was hurt and no property damage. Yet it seems like something wasn’t right. It bothered me all night. None of what I saw made any sense, until I read the article yesterday morning in Claycord News.
Since yesterday I found out the victim of this shooting was a close friend of a co-worker. She was only 21 yrs old and a good friend to all who knew her.
Please, please anyone who witnessed this shooting and crash come forward and contact the authorities. If you know anything, hear anything please tell the police. Give her friends and family some closure for this senseless killing.
