A large hail storm is going through Contra Costa County right now (12:30 p.m., Friday).

On Keller ridge, pea sized hail covered the ground, but soon washed away by hard rain.

No in North Concord, but yes at Oak Grove and Ygnacio.

San Ramon got a pretty heavy dumping for about 4 minutes or so.

Had in in south PH while eating lunch. Afterwards, the temperature started falling, to a low of 43.7* at 1:00 PM. My backyard weather station has recorded 5.29 inches of rain so far this week.

Here too. Great grandson (3 yrs old) thought it was snow and got really excited. He got a couple of handfuls and now thinks he has made snowmen.
