Republicans Ask Democrats To Please Leave Trump’s Tax Returns ALONE

No way not gonna happen I guarantee!!!!!

Mcgee February 9, 2019 at 12:42 PM

His tax returns will be the smoking gun.

Ricardoh February 9, 2019 at 1:37 PM

I really hope you enjoy the next six years of President Trump’s term.

Bob February 9, 2019 at 2:36 PM

I’ll take a tax cheat over a Marxist any day of the week.

Fred P. February 9, 2019 at 6:39 PM

Anyone care to explain how members of Congress become millionaires in a few short years while “earning “ $170k/year?

Except for the financially illiterate desaulnier, of course.

THE BLACK KNIGHT February 11, 2019 at 8:23 PM

Bob,

President Trump’s taxes have been audited.

Jim R February 12, 2019 at 9:12 PM

tbk, how do you know? Because the president told you? And that’s good enough for you? Not me, let’s see them.

THE BLACK KNIGHT February 13, 2019 at 5:29 PM

Jim R,

No, the President didn’t tell me that his taxes have been audited. It is federal law that all sitting Presidents and Vice Presidents have their taxes audited each year they’re holding office. This has been the law for almost 45 years now. If there was something wrong with President Trump’s tax returns I’m positive something would’ve been leaked to the press by now, just like everything else that is leaked by every Executive Branch agency and Congress. If investigating every aspect of President Trump’s life for nothing other than political purposes is acceptable because of the hatred towards him by those in power have for him, then it should be just as acceptable to do the same to those in elected and appointed office doing the “investigating.”

It is dangerous coarse that we are on for the public to allow our government to investigate every aspect of a persons life looking for “crimes” to prosecute, rather than following the standard for investigations, which is to investigate crimes and see where the evidence goes. We have allowed our representatives in government to write so many laws that the government doesn’t even know how many laws we have, and current estimates are that almost every American adult commits 3 felonies a day due to poorly written and vague laws. It doesn’t matter how honestly, morally, ethically or not one attempts to live their life, because our government can still find something on every one of us.

If the government were to investigate any poster here on Claycord, along with their family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers just to search for crimes without any evidence of a crime, I’m sure most would be surprised as to how many crimes the government would claim that each person committed.

Atticus Thraxx February 13, 2019 at 6:26 PM

A salient argument THE BLACK KNIGHT. My only quibble with it is that while the law my require an audit, that’s not the issue. The issue is not whether he’s paid his taxes. The IRS can worry about that. Who and what has influence over the President is the issue and one of the ways of discovering that is seeing his sources of income. You may not have heard, but this cat sometimes plays fast and loose with facts. So when he defends a den of malevolence like the House of Saud, or Putin, the ever delightful murderer and proven enemy of our republic we American voters have a right to know why that might be. Follow the money as the axiom goes. I mean heck, it’s gotta be at least as important as a birth certificate.

Fred P. February 13, 2019 at 7:29 PM

Black knight…don’t try to confuse democrats with facts.

Their only plan going forward is “block trump.” They have no plans of their own,.unless they all move to Venezuela.

THE BLACK KNIGHT February 14, 2019 at 8:52 PM

Atticus Thraxx,

I believe that employees of the IRS would’ve leaked any information in President Trump’s taxes to the press and media that they perceived as damaging or embarrassing, just as employees in every other executive branch agency and Congress leaks what they believe is damaging.

President Trump’s taxes may provide leads for certain information, but the people looking at his tax returns aren’t necessarily looking for the “TRUTH,” but rather they’re looking for anything they can leak that they believe is damaging. Having the media report every day what has been leaked, when only partial or perceived information is leaked to feed a partisan narrative that doesn’t prove anything just so the “free press” can continue to engage in their attempts to destroy a president they despise does the country no good.

If Congress was truly and honestly interested in his sources of income they would update the financial disclosure forms that all federal elected office holders must complete so that they provide much more detailed information, but perhaps they have information to hide.

Seeing President Trump’s sources of income that may be derived from foreign investments doesn’t prove that any “Who” or any “What” has influence over him as you claim. That’s what then becomes dangerous when rumors and perceived relationships based on what’s leaked or even the release of his entire tax return that is open to 300 million Americans with 300 million different opinions of this information that may mean nothing, but was made into something and brings our government to a stand still.

President Trump, as well as former President Obama, former President Bush, and former President Clinton have all played nice with President Putin and the Saudi royal family. Former President G.H.W. Bush and former President G.W. Bush were/are so close to the Saudi royal family that they were/are considered part of the Saudi Royal family. Our President’s have played nice with killer foreign leaders for decades, this is nothing new. You view President Putin as our enemy, and I think President Trump looks at him as our competitor or our adversary because he’s trying to have a relationship with him just as our recent past President’s have done the same, the difference is that President Trump is engaged in the “Art of Subtlety” because “without subtlety, Competitors become Adversaries, Adversaries become Enemies, and Enemies become Fanatics.”

Jim R February 15, 2019 at 11:35 AM

tbk…and none of your comments disprove anything either. When will supporters of the current administration admit that this investigation is not searching for crimes (ala the Benghazi investigation), they are investigating criminal activity.

Giddyup February 15, 2019 at 1:31 PM

Driven by the warped values of liberals, the Muller investigation is nothing short of an inquisition in search of a crime.

Jim R February 15, 2019 at 3:13 PM

G…please explain the convictions, guilty pleas, and jail time related to the Mueller investigation.

Concordejet February 9, 2019 at 9:41 AM

Good one Robles and do not forget to build, a, wall around Trump new Jersey home and his Mara loga in FL OH and his, Twitter account HA!!

Chicken Little February 15, 2019 at 5:30 PM

Build a wall around Nancy Pelosi. Oh, wait. She already had one built around herself, even though they’re immoral and don’t work.

‘Trump’s premiere New Jersey golf course has employed enough undocumented immigrants to fill an entire Costa Rica town.’

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 9:22 AM

I believe Robles in in the country illegally and should be arrested and deported.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 11:19 AM

@ HappyPappy ma’ man, are you an imbecile in real life or just play one on Claycord?

You attack-question my citizenship, because I post about trump’s hypocrisy?

The trump organization is/was well aware they were hiring undocumented workers-they weren’t offered health care or a retirement plan when legal workers were. The trumps are career criminals.

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 1:22 PM

Easy to make allegations, where is your proof. Your opinion means nothing.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 2:07 PM

The imbecile remark speaks for it self. 😂 🤣😂🤣

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 4:07 PM

This may not satisfy the desires created by your derangement syndrome, but you can’t possibly believe that Trump does the hiring for all of his businesses, particularly for the low levels jobs filled by immigrants.
You must be very young or slow witted because you don’t seem capable of thinking things through.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 4:37 PM

I understand Donnie-boy himself didn’t do the hand picking, but as the leader of the organization he is responsible for knowing, he can’t claim he didn’t know.

Susan I. February 11, 2019 at 8:21 PM

And let’s not forget all that Good Old non-American labor he used to build his overpriced buildings and was producing all that crap he has been selling….

Fred P. February 13, 2019 at 7:23 PM

Robles – look at your own hypocrisy and that of the rest of the democrTs before you accuse others of it.

Example? Kamala Harris proclaiming support for women’s rights as she slept with Willie Brown…..

And “google” is not a synonym for “research.”

You must be another one of the snowflake millennials just waiting Goff the world to give you free stuff.

Grow up. Until then, go to your safe space and play with your puppies and unicorns.

Nunya February 8, 2019 at 11:57 PM

actually pretty verbatim from new congresswoman who was shocked to find she wasn’t old enough to be president.

@amieollie – Nunya is correct. Google “Green New Deal” proposed by the Dems’ shiney new toy, Ocasio-Cortez. It is absolute lunacy but her followers think she’s a genius. Of course, if anyone dares to point out that the Green New Deal is ridiculous – they will be attacked as a racist misogynist and the Dems’ mindless followers will, once again, be outraged.

Concordejet February 9, 2019 at 9:44 AM

Heard Warren speech today GOOD JOB 👍well done

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 10:00 AM

FYI – The Cost of Illegal immigration –

Illegal Aliens crossed so far in 2019, 20,494 and rising

Total in U.S 25,778,714 and rising

Cost This Day, $391,317,696 and rising

Cost so far This Year, $29,026,932,736 and rising

Est provided by CTR for Immigration Studies, Dept of Homeland Security, Federation for Immigration Reform, Institute for Defense Analyses, Yale, MIT

Your reward for voting dem – They rely on a permanent underclass to survive.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 11:57 AM

I don’t see the part that shows The trump Organization surviving and benefiting from illegal immigration at their golf courses, hotels and construction projects.

Or does it benefit your incomplete post to leave the ‘little’ details out?

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 1:26 PM

Robles – You’re losing focus and wandering away in space. Learn to address the topic I raised or go away.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 4:43 PM

@ HappyPappy
You asked me for proof and you can’t handle the truth so now I’m losing focus?

S February 9, 2019 at 5:09 PM

I dont see anywhere in the rules that Robles has to stay on ur topic…

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 6:42 PM

Okay Robles…….let’s try this; go back and read my post. It addresses the cost to tax payers for illegal aliens.
Your attempt to divert the dialog to something that suits your hate driven delusions is dishonest at best and stooooopid at worst.

Rollo Tomasi February 9, 2019 at 7:51 PM

Robles, I didn’t see anything in HappyPappy’s original comment that addressed who is employing illegal aliens, so perhaps that is why your response was considered out of left field. The original comment addressed the cost of illegal immigration to taxpayers, and pointed out the one side of the aisle that seems to continually deny any negative impact. So, a rebuttal to that information might have been more productive.

If you’re going to research who is employing illegal aliens, be sure to include all the Silicon Valley executives and other darlings of the left.

Robles February 9, 2019 at 8:11 PM

@ Rollo Tomasi
My comment is completely relevant trump ran on this and still bring s it up, ‘undocumented workers taking jobs away from Americans’. Plus HappyPappy asked for proof to my comment.

HappyPappy February 10, 2019 at 9:28 AM

Rollo Tomasi – Thanks….great minds think alike.

I’ve given up trying to explain anything to that hard headed idiot. I don’t recall who is was who said “arguing with a fool is fruitless, sooner or later you get dragged down to their level and you both look like fools”

Fred P. February 10, 2019 at 10:16 AM

Robles – FYI, googling someone or something is NOT research. You were asked to provide PROOF and you failed to do so.

In googling someone/something, I can find anything to “prove” anything.

Try again. You made the claim, you provide the proof.

Robles February 10, 2019 at 2:50 PM

You people just can’t handle that trump is the most corrupt president ever, the major news outlets except for Fox are reporting this.

This is what HappyPappy responded to my post;

HappyPappy February 9, 2019 at 9:22 AM
I believe Robles in in the country illegally and should be arrested and deported.

So, am I the one out in left field and changing subject?

mtzman February 10, 2019 at 3:48 PM

These figures are just total BS. Please, you who claim to be such great minds, tell us how someone is able to calculate these numbers to the person and to the dollar.

Fred P. February 10, 2019 at 5:42 PM

Robles – you were asked to provide proof.

You said to “google” it.

“Google” is not proof. It is a search engine – nothing more.

You’ve failed. Again. You ignored the request to provide proof. In other words, you CAN’T.

But I expected nothing more from a democrat.

Fred P. February 11, 2019 at 6:39 AM

No, Robles… you’re not the only one “in left field and changing the subject.” The rest of the Democrats are doing the same.

Still waiting for your “proof.”

Again, “googling” something isn’t proof.

Moron.

HappyPappy February 11, 2019 at 10:23 AM

mtzman doesn’t agree with the numbers stated in my post. Well I guess that settles it then, the numbers must be false.
For the benefit of mtzman, and other remedial readers, here are the sources, again;
Est provided by CTR for Immigration Studies, Dept of Homeland Security, Federation for Immigration Reform, Institute for Defense Analyses, Yale, MIT.
Maybe he should discuss this in that leftist think-tank he calls his family. However unlikely, there may be at least one clear thinker among them.

Robles February 11, 2019 at 7:54 PM

@ Fred P
Short of trump publicly admitting he has well aware they were hiring undocumented workers, you won’t believe it is possible for his organization to do so.
Plain and simple, you are just too afraid to admit and or learn the truth that all the trumps are career criminals.

mtzman February 12, 2019 at 12:04 AM

No, Happy, this is not a credible study and the source of the numbers is not DHS or Yale or MIT. The Center for Immigration Studies is well-known as a right-wing anti-immigration extremist group that takes general data — like that from DHS, Yale and MIT — and distorts, cherry-picks and misrepresents that data into whatever conclusion it wants to demonstrate. Anyone with even a modicum of common sense and intelligence knows you cannot quantify those categories to the precision provided, but if you’re so confident, please provide a citation to the exact source so we can all take a look, not just vague references to various organizations.

HappyPappy February 12, 2019 at 11:38 AM

Still a poor reader, eh mtzman. Twice thus far you’ve chosen to ignore that those numbers are an ESTIMATE, and not precise. They are based on actual data gathered. Further, your opinions of the organizations cited means absolutely nothing. You enjoy criticizing any study/survey you don’t like but NEVER provide proof of your claims.

mtzman February 12, 2019 at 5:41 PM

I saw the estimated claim but that’s only part of the problem. You simply cannot “estimate” population or costs at that level of precision with any semblance of credibility. You also need to define what is meant by cost and the other categories.

I believe this is the same or a similar study that Ricardoh cited a couple months ago. It was described as thoroughly debunked and neither nor anyone else here offered any evidence to counter. Now, you still haven’t even provided a citation so that I or anyone else can review the actual document. So, yeah, I will continue to challenge claims you and the other Trumpy cavepeople around here make. I also often provide the proof and have even asked people to show me where I’m wrong, but, gee, you never seem to even respond with anything other than attacks if that.

HappyPappy February 12, 2019 at 9:24 PM

mtzman, I didn’t save the original link and can’t find it again, it displayed a real time clock similar to the National Debt Clock. Since your incapable of conducting your own research;

https://www.fairus.org/issue/publications-resources/fiscal-burden-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers

mtzman February 12, 2019 at 11:54 PM

Well, keep looking if you want, but the link you did provide proves my point. You said the total number in the U.S. was 25,778,714 and rising. The FAIR report you just cited estimates less than half that number, i.e., 12.5 million. You said the cost per day is $391,317,696 per day and rising. Not sure why the cost would be rising every day but assuming the cost stays the same, that comes out to 142 billion. The FAIR report you just cited says 116 billion.

HappyPappy February 13, 2019 at 1:25 PM

mtzman…..
The point of my original post was to call attention to the gross wasteful spending of our tax dollars in support of illegal aliens. Some of your lying idiots on the left like to claim the illegal aliens contribution to our economy is greater than the cash and benefits they take and abuse.
Further, I didn’t claim the link I posted would completely concur with my original post, that is your assumption. Sorry I lost that original link. but the numbers I posted were taken from that site. As I recall the information cited in the link was from an earlier date so of course the numbers would reflect lesser amounts.

Xennial February 9, 2019 at 10:19 AM

Actual quote:
(E) upgrading all existing buildings in the United States and building new buildings to achieve maximum energy efficiency, water efficiency, safety, affordability, comfort, and durability, including through electrification;

Replacing a gas system with an electric one isn’t that difficult. This isn’t crazy when you are talking about a 2050 time-frame. Just think about it, by 2050 all current structures would be at least 30 years old. But for some reason you think it is a good idea to have buildings go decades without any kind of modernization?
So the Democrat platform is: lets fix problems and modernize; and the Republican plan is: lets not fix problems and live in the past.

SF oh February 9, 2019 at 11:05 AM

@ Xennial – Anyone can cherry pick various phrases out of the Green New Deal to make it appealing to some – or unappealing to others. It’s easy to find on the Net and people should Google it – read it – and form their own opinions. I read it and, IMO, it sounds like the goal is total government control over everything. Yet it is being marketed by the Dems as simply a “green” lifestyle. I am 100% in favor of reducing pollution, plastics, GMOs, etc. We even own an electric car!! But this is too much.

Mcgee February 9, 2019 at 12:02 PM

If you ask what changed in their weekly pay no one will know. If you ask what their refund was they will tell you they got less. Big ticket items are purchased this time of year. Look for a downturn and slowdown of the economy.

Trump tax plan is a political disaster for republicans.

Those of you so enthusiastic with socialist politician’s mindless rhetoric calling for punitive taxes against those with money would do well to check out how that works. Here’s an example of how flawed the tax code is after years of politicians changing it to benefit those who give them campaign contributions. Just in case you were under mistaken belief politicians actually care. They are willing to sell their votes for campaign contributions.

“Netflix paid NOTHING in federal or state taxes in 2018 despite posting record profits of $845million – and even got a $22million rebate”

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6678703/Netflix-didnt-pay-dime-state-federal-income-taxes-year-got-22m-REBATE.html

“Tax the rich” means NOTHING until tax loopholes are closed.

Captain Bebops February 9, 2019 at 7:28 PM

Taxing the rich more isn’t to make more money for the government but to discourage massive accumulation of wealth and power by individuals. Such inequality is undemocratic. People could still get rich but just not obscenely wealthy. And yes, many tax loopholes for corporations need to be done away with as well the overblown tax code which is an affront to the American people.

Original G February 9, 2019 at 8:20 PM

Here’s the slight flaw in their socialist / communist lunacy.
What happens when the rich simply decide, to just make less ? ? ?

Why buy 1,000 shares of Boeing during low of $294 on 24 December 2018, then sell it last Wednesday at $412 ? ?
A person not making those transactions would have cost the government roughly $42,000 in short term capital gains taxes at 35% rate.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTLwANVtnkA

Remember during obama years, all his whiny teleprompter lecturing about money sitting on the side lines ? ?
That money sat there because business couldn’t trust obama.
Two things lacking during obama years were regulatory certainty and political stability.

“Every week, and sometimes almost every day, the administration rolled out a new program for the country. There was no obvious prioritization and, after the rollout, very little effort to actually pass the latest idea/imperative/plan/edict. ”

President Reagan once stated, “The American dream is not that every man must be level with every other man. The American dream is that every man must be free to become whatever God intends he should become.”

No doubt, he was grateful for America and the freedom it provides for its citizens.
One doesn’t need to believe in God to take advantage of the opportunities available to us all. Granter, some have a less difficult road, but opportunity is everywhere for those of us willing to put forth the work to get there. There are near countless examples of successful individuals who overcame hard times, even disability. Excuses are the forte of failures.

HappyPappy February 10, 2019 at 7:12 PM

Those things in the tax code referred to as loopholes are legitimate tax credits. They are employed by Congress to control the economic direction of the country. Tax credits are used and abused by Congress.

Don’t try to teach the Democrats anything about economics, taxes or statistics. They are stuck on their beliefs in turning the US into a socialist state, bit by bit.

It’s up to the rest of us to make sure this doesn’t happen – by whatever means necessary.

And for this idiots that say the military will prevent that, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Justifiable anger February 11, 2019 at 8:19 AM

Ret Gy Sgt: I agree, except I would mention socialism is a stepping stone for fascism. Currently we have an “excellent” example of this in Venezuela.

In the past Hitlers Germany was a renowned example. The first thing they do is take away guns and create an enemy within.

Also, a once fine example of socialism in the Nordic counties, is being destroyed by the forced “migration” of a violent population. The migrants are famous for not assimilating and are members of a dark ages society.

Fred P. February 9, 2019 at 6:46 PM

I read occasio-cortez’s resolution… it’s all about total government control.

Texas has the longest U.S. border with Mexico. Zero of its 38 members of Congress support Trump’s wall.

Texas sends 38 lawmakers to Congress — 36 House members and two senators — and 25 of them are Republican. None of them are willing to endorse President Trump’s plan for a gulf-to-sea border wall. Not all of Texas’ congressional delegation necessarily opposes the wall, but when The Texas Tribune asked about Trump’s signature policy issue a few weeks ago, none would go on record as thinking it is a good idea.

Interesting how author of article structured wording to support a predetermined position. These days more than ever before one must do research to find actual truth.

A couple examples.

“Just take the Texas border alone – 1,200 miles, of a lot of wild territory on the Mexican border, you can’t cover it all. The wall in certain places is absolutely essential.” — Rep. John R. Carter R (Texas)

“Congressman Culberson supports President-elect Trump’s plan to secure the border with a wall, spokeswoman Emily Taylor told the Tribune. ” — Rep. John Culberson R (Texas)
https://www.texastribune.org/2016/12/20/where-texas-congressional-delegation-stands-trumps/

Qondering how many members of congress from Texas accept campaign contributions from individuals and companies who directly benefit from illegal labor.

Xennial February 11, 2019 at 12:51 PM

@ SFoh, cherry picking is selecting certain portions while ignoring others. What I did was literally quote the entire section.
In contrast, what Nunya did was characterize the section as “rebuilding” while ignoring such terms as “upgrading” and “electrification.”

When presenting an opinion on something I like to include what I am basing that opinion on. In this case, citing to the actual language. In doing so others may agree, disagree, and even identify things I may have missed or overlooked. I would encourage everybody to do likewise to promote reasoned fact-based discourse. Otherwise we are just spewing opinions out there with little basis on which to judge, compare, or inform.

Why is it when liberals, money that’s not theirs and political power are combined the word ethics does not often come up ? ? ?

“The Chicago metropolitan area was ranked as the most corrupt U.S. city in a new report from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Along with Chicago, Los Angeles topped the list of the most public corruption convictions in America, based on the number of federal corruption convictions between 1976 and 2017. Chicago had 1,731 convictions during that time period, while the Central District of California had 1,534.”

Venezuela has the highest amount of proven oil reserves on this planet and with that kind of oil wealth every citizen should be living the socialist dream of a guaranteed income for life. Instead people forage thru garbage for something to eat.

Only in yours’s and Rasmussen’s dreams. Everyone else has him still in the low 40s.

Forsythe February 12, 2019 at 7:02 AM

On Monday, Rush Limbaugh outlined the significance of the rating:

52%, after a government shutdown

52% after 2-1/2 years of Obama’s FBI and DOJ on his back.

52% after 2-1/2 years of 90% negative, slanderous coverage by CNN, MSNBC and the mainstream media.

52% after the border wall controversy.

52% after Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez rolled out the Green New Deal. This is hilarious in and of itself.

By Feb 7, the document was pulled from her website without explanation, but following ridicule over some its plans. Such as a call to “eliminate emissions from cows. Or air travel” — which would functionally be banned. Or providing “economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work.”

Trump’s tax cuts a political disaster.

The Treasury Department reported the debt hit $22.012 trillion, a jump of more than $30 billion in just this month.

The national debt has been rising at a faster rate following the passage of President Donald Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax-cut package a little more than a year ago and as the result of congressional efforts to increase spending on domestic and military programs. The nation has added more than $1 trillion in debt in the last 11 months alone.

Given the idiots running for president in the democrat party, that’ll guarantee the presidency for the GOP for the next 20 years. Harris, who was listening to music YEARS before it was published…. and sleeping her way into office.

Btw, Susan…. you know the SCOTUS will have a much longer legacy with Trump’s appointees.

Keep laughing – or weeping, in your case, cupcake. I’m glad you’re proud of being a snowflake. You, at least, recognize your severe limitations.

Susan I. February 14, 2019 at 11:23 PM

Fred, I think Amy Klobuchar will win the nomination and will be throwing my support behind her. As far as SCOTUS is concerned and the rest of the court system, 8 years of obstruction is all I can say. I really hope 45 decides to declare an emergency on the border, sets the precedent for future executive orders. Can’t wait to hear you all whine when a Dem President declares an emergency on gun violence or global warming.

Too bad you didn’t get the snowflake reference. Maybe you need comprehension lessons to focus on what is being said. Please refrain from replying unless you actually read what’s being discussed.

mtzman February 15, 2019 at 1:36 AM

It’s too bad Fred doesn’t recognize his severe limitations. Anyway, Fred is, as usual, wrong about Harris. Watch the video of the radio broadcast and count the number of people speaking to her at the same time. I won’t spoil the surprise.

And as for the whole Harris-Brown thing , to say she slept her way into office is rather ridiculous. Her relationship with Willie probably did get her appointed to that commission or whatever it was, but it takes a whole lot more than twenty-year old hanky-panky to parlay that into election as District Attorney, Attorney General, and U.S. Senator.

I think it’s way too early to predict who the nominees for either party will be, but I have always liked Amy Klobuchar and she is definitely on my radar. I also think it’s 50-50 at this point whether Trump will be the Republican nominee.

Jim R February 15, 2019 at 11:42 AM

Regarding Sen. Harris’ relationship with Willie Brown. Brown and his wife had been living seperate lives (consentual agreement) without a divorce for years. That is not as unusual as some appear to believe.

Giddyup February 15, 2019 at 1:27 PM

@Jim R. Are you saying that made it ok? That’s even worse since Brown’s marital relationship was obviously “open,” a pathetic, contorted arrangement which legitimizes the destruction of the traditional bonds of marriage and demonstrates utter disrespect for one’s marriage vows. Was Brown too weak willed to get a divorce? Or, was he married but wanted to “play the field” for a change?

We don’t care that he was separated. He was STILL married and he showed little respect for the institution of marriage in his relationship with Harris … and Harris did the same. She was a cheap side trick.

Is it any wonder that the pornography industry and its attendant degradation of women flourished in San Francisco under Brown’s administration. In San Francisco, Brown built it and they came. Look at the legacy he left there.

Brown is the man that is helped Grayson (a supposedly religious man) get elected, and is involved with the company that is developing Concord Naval Weapons Station. You actually want this kind of trash and their associated side tricks running your country?

mtzman February 15, 2019 at 2:15 PM

Kamala Harris must just scare the bejesus out of Giddyup, Fred, Happy, and the other members of the “Let’s Just Make Up Sh$t” contingent. The golden age of SF porn was the 1960s and 1970s. Willie Brown was elected mayor in 1996.

Jim R February 15, 2019 at 3:18 PM

g…Yes I’m okay with that, call off your old tired ethics. Live by your own standards and be happy. Stay out of consenting adults decisions. How is Willie Brown remaining married a bigger problem for you than the grand oranges three marriages?

Giddyup February 15, 2019 at 4:53 PM

@Jim R. Right! Ethics and morality. Two things that historically kept civilizations from descending into chaos. True colors shining through.

Giddyup February 15, 2019 at 4:56 PM

@mtzman There is nothing about Harris that is scary. Disingenuous? Yes. Not qualified? Yes. Morally bankrupt? Yes Weak character? Yes. For a Democrat, she should do very well and have major appeal to their scabby, twisted “life adjustments.”

Pornography was established in San Francisco in the 60s and 70s, but it did not flourish there like it did until Brown and Newsom invited every sort of depravity to the city as standard faire.

Fred P. February 13, 2019 at 12:18 PM

Sen. Kamala D. Harris, California Democrat and 2020 presidential hopeful, appears to have fibbed during an interview Monday about smoking marijuana in college while listening to music by Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur.

Ms. Harris cited both rappers during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio program in response to a question posed moments after she acknowledged smoking marijuana in college.

“What were you listening to when you [were] high? What was on?” she was asked during the segment. “Was it Snoop?”

“Oh yeah, definitely Snoop,” Ms. Harris responded. “Tupac for sure,” she continued.

Neither of the future rap legends had released music by the time Ms. Harris completed graduate school, however.

If this liar and panderer Kamala Harris is the best the Democratic Party has got to run against President Trump, I say bring it on. She’s a disgrace. Her sketchy background and affair with former San Franciso Mayor Willie Brown, who was 60 and married when she was just 29, launched her political career.

Now, she’s screaming about “respect for women” but what about the affair she had with Willie Brown while he was married?

then there’s Lieawatha……

And the democrats continue to lie and eat their own…..With the current crop of democrat presidential candidates, it looks like trump is gonna have a clean sweep in 2020.

Cry on, libs!!!!!!

Giddyup February 13, 2019 at 4:35 PM

Who is running the Democratic party, anyway? The party of the hair-brained liberals is so fractured and fractious that everybody and their sister by another mother is running for President. They can’t all get behind one strong and popular candidate, so they are throwing them all at the wall to see which ones stick.

Really now, is Nancy Pelosi is pulling the strings? If so, she’s looking a little schizoid. Everybody appears to be acting as “spokesperson” for the party leaving poor Nancy dithering in the wings unable to wrestle control from several clearly more energetic and focused much younger women. What probes or investigations were “conclusively debunked”?

I didn’t see anything debunked… I just saw crimes being ignored & fail to be prosecuted… like enforcing the law was optional!

Original G February 14, 2019 at 4:03 PM

Well how about that, hadn’t checked the final 2018 numbers.
Number of high school dropouts increased in 2018.
2017 Dropout Count 45,052
2018 Dropout Count 48,453.
https://www.cde.ca.gov/nr/ne/yr18/yr18rel76.asp#Table2
So 48,453 . . . in ten years that\s how many ? ? ?

An while were at it lets have illegals with limited education and few job skills some of whom can not read or write in their native language.

An where do those who do not have a skill set to offer an employer learn to survive ? Many learn the skill set of the street where they become permanently predacious upon society.

An when incarceration rates went up liberals spent $10,306,082 on Prop 47 to make it harder to incarcerate criminals and in doing so guaranteed number of drug addicts who commit crimes to support their habits would increase. They took away a primary tool Judges had to force people to get clean n sober and stay that way.

Governor Pat Brown and the democratic party of his generation knew the value of family values, a good education and acquiring a skill set to earn a living thereby becoming a productive member of society. Pat’s political life long goal was to give every child in CA the best possible education at an affordable cost.

Then there is problem of progressive liberal socialists driving businesses out of CA.
