Air Quality Advisory Issued Due To Smoke In Bay Area

An air quality advisory for potential smoke in parts of the region has been issued through Tuesday, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District said.

The northern and eastern counties of the Bay Area may experience hazy air quality conditions because of smoke from wildfires in Northern California and southern Oregon, the air district said.

If Bay Area residents smell smoke, they are encouraged to stay inside with windows and doors closed until the smoke level subsides.

The air district also advises setting air conditioning units and car vent systems to re-circulate to prevent outside air from moving inside.

Think I’ll start a fire in my fireplace tonight. It’s my only source of heat.

Its totally different if its your source of heat and your burning at night but there’s a fool who burns his garbage everyday near Sun Terrace Elementary putting our children and staff members who has asthma issue in a very bad situation.
We’ve called the Air Quality people many times, what will it take before something gets done? How many more fines does he need to wake up and realize that he is playing with peoples lives? Is it gonna take losing a life before one wakes up?
Its very frustrating that this is still going on? I HATE seeing our little ones suffering because of an inconsiderate ASSWIPE
