Here’s a 1959-1960 class photo from Mt. Diablo Elementary School in Clayton.

Anybody know any of these former students, who are now in their late-60s?

Thanks to Nat & Roger who run the website for the picture!

I’m pretty sure Mrs. Quincy became principal at Mt. Diablo High when I was there in the early 80’s.

Tom Lockyer taught at Concord High. I do believe that’s him. How funny.

Don Lockyer was a coach at CHS, Tom was possibly his son.

Tom, Kathie and Don all taught at CHS. I knew the relationships when I was there (70s), and all I remember was Kathie was married to one of them. Tom and Kathie were married (I think) and I believe you’re correct – Tom was Don’s son.

With today’s modern DNA testing we could easily find out.

Or they could all appear on To Tell The Truth and see which one stands up.

As a student at CHS in the 70’s, I had Don Lockyer for PE. My dad and Don actually went to college together.

Yes! I knew Jim Jiminez! He was a year or two older than me and we went to the same church.

Mark Hafner ran track at CVHS and he was really good. Probably graduated in ’67.

Ross Crown was my little brother. He passed away in 2002.

Ross Crown was in several of my classes. He was a sweet, nice boy. We knew he was a little different, but nobody cared, he was just one of us!! Sad to hear he’s passed.

Hey, that’s me in the second row on the right side of the school picture. Mrs. Quincy was my favorite teacher 😊
