Health Inspectors from the Contra Costa County Environmental Health Department shut down a San Ramon restaurant this week due to a vermin infestation.
Inspectors say over 500 rodent droppings were found throughout the kitchen area of the Pista House on Bollinger Canyon.
Droppings were located in the following areas, according to inspectors:
- In the storage room floor where the water heater and extra utensils are located, in the office on the flooring
- In the bar area on the flooring, on the counters in the bar area, in the sinks and prep table in the bar area
- On the window sills in the bar area
- In the metal cabinet shelving in the server prep area
- On the metro shelving racks in the server side station
- In the back storage room on the flooring, under the ice machine in the server prep area
- Under the handsink in the server prep area, in the middle of the floor in pain sight in the server side station
- On the flooring in the dish machine room, on top of the dish machine
- On the chemical buckets in the dish machine room
- Around front server/hostess podium, etc).
The restaurant was also closed by health inspectors in January of this year.

Oh My – enough to make you want to just eat at home and never in a restaurant.

They should check the one and only McDonalds in San Ramon, the place is filthy. The bathrooms are also filthy.
