Two Bills By Assemblymember Grayson Pass In Senate Policy Committees

Legislation authored by Assemblymember Timothy S. Grayson (D-Concord) to improve public safety and protect the environment received unanimous support during their respective Senate policy committee hearings today.

AB 2163, which will protect California’s residents and underground utility lines from potential harm, passed the Senate Governmental Organization Committee. The bill requires the Department of Technology Services to share its Geographic Information System (GIS) map data with 811 “Call Before You Dig” regional notification centers, such as the Northern/Central California 811 Headquarters in Concord.

“As a licensed contractor, I know it is impossible to overstate the importance of having the precise location of underground utility lines marked before a shovel is put to the ground,” said Assemblymember Grayson upon the bill’s passage. “This bill will benefit all stakeholders in damage and injury prevention efforts by making the most current and accurate information about the location of utility infrastructure available to excavators through 811 centers.”

The second bill, AB 2470, which passed the Senate Natural Resources Committee, protects California’s environment by establishing a coordinated effort to prevent the spread and introduction of invasive species.

“Some of the most beautiful parks, trails, and coastlines are found right here in California, which is why it is imperative that government works effectively to protect our unique natural heritage,” said Assemblymember Grayson. “Invasive species do not stop at property lines or recognize political boundaries, and this bill will bring state agencies, local organizations, and scientists together at one table and give them the platform necessary to fight the spread of harmful invasive species.”

AB 2163 will proceed to the Senate floor while AB 2470 will next be heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee later this summer.

RANDOM TASK June 13, 2018 at 9:22 AM

So being the bum state is ok no need for attention there dems ok with that

Crime rampant they voted for legal theft and no prosecution yeah no need to fix that dems ok with it

Roads crumbling no attention needed there dems ok with that

Illegals flooding the system and not having to pay into the system yeah no problem there just keep raising taxes and inventing taxes to pay for them dems ok with that

Welfare being abused and used as a scam yep dems ok with that

So yeah a great bill to absolutely do nothing to progress the state and strive to better itself yep dems ok with that

So let’s sum this up dem voters want all of The above

They refuse to want better or better their cities or better their lives and surroundings ……letting it go to waste to crime and garbage and dirt

Huh so why are the Mexicans fleeing over the boarder just to do to demifornia what Mexico ALLREADY is ……and politicians are bending over to help them do it ….why ….any dem care to share an answer ? Anyone

If that includes eucalyptus, then it would certainly also include crepe myrtle and about 50% of all plants currently used in landscaping.

The Democrats want to control the California electorate for upcoming presidential elections getting rid of all the illegals would drastically cut their voter count in half. I think the real question you should ask is or rather look at is who owns the voting machines and what companies are running these voting machines ? look up their last names look who they are affiliated with and no big surprise look at who’s campaigns and parties they lean/lobby towards. But also look at the demographics as more non-Europeans come here we are getting more Trotsky like libertine policies. The conservatives conserved nothing in this state they sold us out just as bad as the Democrats. All these politicians are crooked they all hob nob together I presume in the same fashion as the movie eyes wide shut doing some sort of sick satanic rituals. But let me add to your list you’re forgetting the psych op tactics/borderline eugenics program the government runs at our schools! Also the false memories indoctrination higher learning academic centers where propaganda is force-fed on to your kids brains… As well as all the media outlets that all lean “heavy left Ideologies” and again look at the last names of all these people that run the social media/media organizations you might start to see a pattern here. Just saying

Wrong!. It is possible to overstate anything, and the CA legislature is good at that.
Bring back the “Part time legislature”. Let them stop looking for things to do that may give them a headline.
