It’s not everyday you see a random boat dumped on the roadway.

Today’s your lucky day.

This boat was photographed by an anonymous Claycordian on Pacheco Blvd.

I knew that area was a dump, but geez!

Watch out for land sharks!

How many miles later do you suppose the owner finally noticed that his trailer was riding just a little light, assuming it was an accidental “launch?” That’ll really ruin the family plans for a fun waterskiing weekend on the Delta. “Hey Dad, what’s Plan B?”

I’m thinking since the transom, probably with a hull ID, has been cut out and it’s been filled with junk- probably not accidental.

Could have at least left the trailer 🙂

About 10 years ago someone dumped a sailboat at the Mormon Church on Denkinger Rd. I knew where it came from so I told a Mormon Cop where it came from. It was gone within hours.

The LDS has cops? Who knew?! Well, besides you.

guess the owner realized finally the term “BOAT” means
bust out another thousand
…and said Fagetaboutit!

Sink your life savings in a boat!

Chicken Little June 8, 2018 at 8:05 PM

Maybe it means Bounced Off A Trailer.

T-Rex June 8, 2018 at 3:43 PM

It’s been there about three weeks now!

Same June 8, 2018 at 3:47 PM

Maybe they are ship-ping it somewhere.

Surrounded with safety cones was a nice touch.

If a person owns a boat they no longer want Contra Costa Sheriff’s Marine Patrol will take it off your hands for FREE, no need to dump it or take it out and sink it.

All you have to have is the Pink Slip, you call the Marine Patrol number and leave a message with contact information telling them you want to surrender a boat and they will call you back and set it up.

I didn’t know that. That is really cool and probably saves a bundle as well as the oil slicks on the water. Thank you, CCCSO.

That’s not a boat, it’s trash. Just someone dumping their garbage

This is for Wave on Claycord: You said the Warriors Parade is on Tues day, June 10th, how is that possible if today is Saturday, June 9th?

KinseyLeaky June 9, 2018 at 9:18 AM

The boat photographer failed to see and get a picture of the water skier that was 75 feet further back on the ground.

Law Dog June 9, 2018 at 3:53 PM

Looking just like Oakland.

Danny June 9, 2018 at 4:23 PM

You sure a person did it?

My guess is that it was aliens.

This boat was parked on a trailer on palm Ave in Martinez for months. I drove by it every day and now I guess I know where it went!

Anon June 10, 2018 at 11:02 AM

Lol 12:55 AM,
I’m guessing it was parked not too far from the white VW gti which has been parked for 20 years!
County is a disaster. How about picking up that big screen TV which somebody dumped on Pacheco near Vine Ave which has been there for one month.

The data light photo shows a boat but not street view.
