The Contra Costa Elections Division reminds all residents that the deadline to register or re-register to vote in the June 5 Statewide Direct Primary Election is this Monday, May 21.

To be eligible to register, a person must be a United States citizen, be at least 18 years old by Election Day, and not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction.

You must re-register if you have moved or changed your name (married, divorced, etc.).

To register, go online to, or pick up a paper card at any City Hall, post office, library or the Contra Costa County Clerk-Recorder-Elections Office located at 555 Escobar Street in Martinez.

You can check your voter registration status online at by clicking on the ‘My Voting Information’ button.

Already voted. Voted NO on RM3. Voted against the other tax increase, er, I mean bond measure. What will this state do when the next, inevitable recession happens?

Increase the gas tax again

Pretty sure that you don’t have to BE a United States citizen. You just have to identify as one.

Sounds plausible! I tried very hard not to laugh, but I was unsuccessful.

I vote for who ever has the most common sense and has respect for humans of every race and color.

In short you believe the targeted advertising and TV commercials . . . .

That’s how we ended up with Prop 47 and all these vehicle break ins.

Progressive liberals spent $10,306,082 to CON voters into bailing them out of the disaster they created with passage of AB-109 back in 2011. An majority of that ten million plus was spent on carefully crafted, focus group tested advertising to generate sympathy and votes.

Please do not vote for Nancy Pelosi’s nephew Gavin Newsome unless you want to see this state go totally down the toilet.

Now that explains a lot. No wonder their is mental illness in his family!

His grandfather was mentally ill and committed suicide.

Why bother?

First off in kaliforniastan the liberal/socialist/democrats already won! As the have already won in the NEXT FIVE elections at least as well. This state has been so gerrymandered that if there were only five registered dems left in it and every other voter was registered and anything else the dems will win with well over twenty-five times the “votes”(cons and corpses voter block has never let them down yet!) of all other parties! COMBINED!

Taxes, doesn’t matter who votes what, the left can, has and WILL liberal judge shop until they find the black robed flunky who will negate the vote and create whatever tax they left wants by a “ruling” fro the bench. Or what’s a liberal judge for but to use AGAINST the voters?

Last, there is too much Eastern liberal money FLOODING in here to buy “protesters”-for-hire for the locals to compete against. That and they usually intimidate the spineless weak sisters that are pre-selected for voters to waste their time, and votes, on who live to cave into loud noises to even pretend anymore.
