Trump’s popularity continues to increase. Americans of all walks of life continue to do better. The country is doing better. and the world is becoming a safer place (yes because of the negociating rhetoric) . we are headed for Happy Days!. Only the lefties and Democrats are trying to block it because they’re going to lose their grip on the American public for years, and their ability to push their failed policies.

US economy latest: Disappointing jobs growth and wages data reported for April

The American economy created fewer jobs than expected in April and wage growth slowed down.

“The headline numbers are disappointing but there’s nothing scary about inflation,” said Art Hogan of B,Riley FBR, a New York investment bank. “There were fewer jobs created in the last month than consensus.”

Biden says ‘decency’ at White House has hit ‘rock bottom’ after McCain joke

“People have wondered when decency would hit rock bottom with this administration. It happened yesterday,” Biden said in a striking statement.

The statement was in response to White House aide Kelly Sadler’s comments following the Arizona Republican’s opposition to President Donald Trump’s pick for CIA director by saying Thursday morning that “he’s dying anyway,”.

First Mueller convict reports to prison

A Dutch attorney now has the dubious distinction of being the first person imprisoned in connection with special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

In February, van der Zwaan, a former London-based attorney for the U.S. law firm Skadden Arps, pleaded guilty to a felony false-statement charge, admitting that he lied to the FBI and lawyers for Mueller’s office during questioning about his involvement with a report Skadden prepared in 2012 at the request of the Ukrainian government.

Mueller’s team questions Russian oligarch about payments to Cohen

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators have questioned a Russian oligarch about hundreds of thousands of dollars in payments his company’s US affiliate made to President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, after the election, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Viktor Vekselberg, chairman of asset manager Renova Group, is an oligarch close to Vladimir Putin. The scrutiny of the payments could add to the legal troubles for Cohen, whose home and office were raided last month as part of a criminal investigation by federal prosecutors.

Firm Tied to Russian Oligarch Made Payments to Michael Cohen

A shell company that Michael D. Cohen used to pay hush money to a pornographic film actress received payments totaling more than $1 million from an American company linked to a Russian oligarch and several corporations with business before the Trump administration. Transactions adding up to at least $4.4 million flowed through Essential Consultants starting shortly before Mr. Trump was elected president and continuing to this January.

Among the previously unreported transactions were payments last year of about $500,000 from Columbus Nova, an investment firm in New York whose biggest client is a company controlled by Viktor Vekselberg.

APNewsBreak: Mueller team questions Trump friend Tom Barrack

Barrack was interviewed as part of the federal investigation of possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election.

The questioning focused entirely on two officials from Trump’s campaign who have been indicted by Mueller: Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and Manafort’s longtime deputy, Rick Gates. Gates agreed to plead guilty to federal conspiracy and false-statement charges in February and began cooperating with investigators.

Trump’s claim about Canadians traveling to the United States for medical care

This is a classic case of Trump focusing on raw numbers with limited information to extrapolate a general trend.

There is limited reliable information to support Trump’s claim. The most comprehensive report uses data from 20 years ago, and found that 90 out of 18,000 people surveyed for the Canadian National Population Health Survey said they had received health care in the United States in the previous 12 months.. Trump’s exaggeration of this one data point to extrapolate a larger trend earns him Three Pinocchios.

“While Americans have been crossing the border for years in search of cheaper medications, it turns out there are a growing number of Canadians seeking medical treatment abroad as well, raiding their bank accounts and choosing to pay for treatment instead of being treated through their nationalized health care system. In 2014, more than 50,000 Canadians left the country for medical treatment, a 25 percent increase from the previous year. A similar number left the country for treatment in 2015. ”

We’re now seeing the damage from removing the individual mandate for the affordable care act. Insurance premiums are skyrocketing. The Republicans knew this would happen but they wanted to make AHCA look like a mistake. It can’t work if you don’t adhere to basic economic principles. Everything he has to buy in for it to work. AT&T’s explanation about the $600,000 contract with Cohen came a day after drugmaker Novartis said, “we made a mistake” in hiring Cohen under a whopping $1.2 million contract for health-care policy consulting work.

AT&T and Novartis were contacted last fall by special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Trump campaign officials, and asked about their payments to Cohen. Man plays national anthem at Clayton Valley little league game and a grown ass man takes a knee another coach won’t leave dugout…Then the Clayton Mayor asks he never play the national anthem again before games….has California already seceded from the union? whether you like who is in office or not, disrespecting the anthem makes you no better than Trump. Sportsmanship starts by observing the rules and traditions gracefully, which includes standing and covering you heart during the National Anthem. Colin Kaepernick honored with Amnesty International award for inequality protests

Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was honored Saturday with Amnesty International’s 2018 Ambassador of Conscience Award, which is given annually to someone who embodies the spirit of activism and courage.

Kaepernick, who created controversy and started a movement by kneeling during the playing of the national anthem before NFL games to protest social inequality, was presented the award from former 49ers teammate Eric Reid at a ceremony in Amsterdam.

Lela May 12, 2018 at 6:33 AM

Amnesty International can crown Coln Kaepernick King, he’s still no role model in my book. He had no game so he had to get attention somehow. You have to have a few braincells missing to struggle with an arresting officer for his service revolver, and a few more braincells missing to think its ok to steal from a convenience store. But, that’s nothing compared to the brain danage you’ve got when you claim getting caught at it is “social injustice”

Covfee May 12, 2018 at 2:39 PM

The choice to stand for the national anthem is up the the individual as is saluting the flag. You may not agree with their choice, but it is even less “American” to believe you can remove their liberties. Doesn’t our country have enough problems without being concerned with how others behave at an athletic exhibition?

Lela May 12, 2018 at 5:04 PM

If being disruptive were valued in our society we would live in chaos. I believe the United States offers more freedoms than you will find anywhere in the world. When I hear the National Anthem I think about soldiers in muddy trenches in World War I fighting and dying so that I can enjoy those freedoms. Kaepernick apparently doesn’t care about those who have guaranteed him the right to look like a self-centered, ungrateful idiot.

You might ask yourself why our country has some of those problems you mention. They may be because some people behave without a modicum of respect for what has gone before. The National Anthem celebrates our flag and all that it has taken, all those who have died defending it, to realize our freedoms. It is a symbol of those freedoms.

Social injustice? Tell some World War soldier bleeding to death in a rainy, mud-soaked trench thousands of miles from home about social injustice. The US needs to re-institute the draft and Kaepernick would make a good first inductee.

And, I’ll thank you not to lecture me on how to think. I’d say Kaepernick got his taste of what it feel like to be on the wrong side of the issue.

Covfee May 13, 2018 at 2:27 AM

Lela has made a good point, the National Anthem should be held as a sacred hymn of remembrance for all those soldiers who have died for the liberty that we enjoy. As its utterance is such a venerated display of patriotism, we should demand that it can legally only be used or performed at an official function of the Federal government, or within their venues. Any usage at a lowly function, such as a sports or entertainment environ, is blasphemous and should be severely punished.

For a bit more perspective on the Iran nuclear agreement, enough of this “withdrew” nonsense. Trump has violated the terms of the agreement. He has failed to comply with the terms. The Iran deal, officially called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was adopted under the UN Security Council Resolution 2231 by a vote of 15-0. It was then approved by the European Union Foreign Affairs council. Because this was a UN Resolution, it is not required to be ratified by our Senate to be implemented, as it is not a treaty nor executive agreement. Since the agreement was made, all parties have been in compliance, and our administration wants the inspections to continue.

Thousands of Facebook ads bought by Russian trolls released

Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday released about 3,400 Facebook ads purchased by Russian agents around the 2016 presidential election on issues from immigration to gun control, a reminder of the complexity of the manipulation that Facebook is trying to contain ahead of the midterm elections.

The ads, which span from mid-2015 to mid-2017, illustrate the extent to which Kremlin-aligned forces sought to stoke social, cultural and political unrest on one of the Web’s most powerful platforms. With the help of Facebook’s targeting tools, Russia’s online army reached at least 146 million people on Facebook and Instagram, its photo-sharing service, with ads and other posts, including events promoting protests around the country.

Yet another Democrat makes it clear, no more guns for Americans.

The headline of the USA Today op-ed said it all. Anti-gun Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) last week advocated for legislation to ban an as-yet undetermined class of semi-automatic firearms and to “go after resisters” who refuse to relinquish their lawfully-acquired firearms. Lest anyone mistake his intentions, Swalwell followed up with a lengthy NBC News interview this week in which he made clear that his own proposal is a departure from prior gun bans that allowed those who obtained the firearms when they were lawful to keep them. Swalwell said that after thinking “about the different ways to address it … I concluded the only way to do this is to get those weapons out of our communities.”

If such a law was passed, I’m betting Swalwell won’t be the point man on any teams going after so-called resisters. He has no concern whatsoever for the safety of those that would be tasked with the job of stripping formerly law abiding US citizens of their personal property. What a scumbag.

wow jelly what are you saying? A dual citizen is “not an American”? That was your original statement about Soros. So, for example, Ted Cruz when seated in the US senate in 2013 was not an American because he held dual citizenship with Canada until 2014?

Dr Jellyfinger May 13, 2018 at 9:49 AM

No, JWB I was saying I was mistaken and that Soros was indeed an American citizen and that he does in fact, have DUAL citizenship (which you either did not know or omitted for whatever reason).

I guess you couldn’t comprehend that after all.

JWB May 13, 2018 at 7:14 PM

Jelly, Soro’s Hungarian citizenship is not relevant to you statement that Soros” is not even an American”. You didn’t mention his shoe size either which would be equally irrelevant to the question you raised.

Dr Jellyfinger May 13, 2018 at 9:03 PM

The only important point was he pays for violent protesters to disrupt Republican events.

One Tennessee employer of illegals put 160 new illegal students in the local Tennessee school system to be educated. Their parents worked for low wages putting them in competition with American workers who have been supporting the Hamblen County schools for years.

The employment of illegals came to light during a raid in April wherein 97 illegals were arrested. They are being represented by the Tennessee Immigration and Rights Coalition which is funded by George Soros.

You can guess how much worse the situation is in liberal-minded California.

Covfee May 12, 2018 at 9:34 PM

Original G – President Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in October 9 2009 for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. They also cited Obama’s promotion of nuclear nonproliferation, and a “new climate” in international relations by reaching out to the Muslim world. It was mostly based on his positions and statements leading up to his election and dramatic shift away from President Bush’s policies. What do you mean by “believable”?

Original G May 12, 2018 at 11:42 PM

“extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” Believable ? . . . . NOT

For bowing, apologizing and a speech in Cairo ???

Awarding him the prize, cheapened Nobel forever.
For he had no historic or demonstrable accomplishments upon which to base the award. Such as achieving PEACE in the Middle East.

As his time out of office progresses, his few day glow accomplishments are evaporating.
“The former director of Norway’s Nobel Institute revealed this week that he regrets the committee’s decision to give the 2009 Nobel Peace award to President Obama.

Geil Lundestad, director at the institute for 25 years, said in his just-published memoir that he and the committee had unanimously decided to grant the award to Mr. Obama just after his election in 2009 more in hopes of aiding the American president to achieve his goals on nuclear disarmament, rather than in recognition of what Mr. Obama had already accomplished.”
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/sep/16/nobel-panel-saw-obama-peace-prize-mistake-new-book/#!

Antler May 13, 2018 at 2:05 AM

If a permanent, nuclear-free peace is ever achieved, then the Nobel Peace prize should go to North and South Korea’s leaders.

But North Korea porportedly has said that it will “give up its nuclear program only if the United States promises never to attack it”. Next North Korea only has to cite the fact that NOTHING promised by the United States under Trump can be trusted, so their nuclear plans not only will still be “go”… but then possibly the nuclear capability will be under the auspices of a united Korea.

And to Trump, this is all another media op … a distraction from the evidentiary net being tightened around Himself.

Covfee May 13, 2018 at 2:05 AM

Original G – As you are citing quotes from the committee, what do you find “believable”? Generally if you are questioning the validity of a source, you don’t use that source as a reference.

Nunya May 13, 2018 at 6:54 AM

Hussein was given the Nobel for being the first black U.S. President.

Chicken Little May 13, 2018 at 8:49 AM

Let me guess, Antler, you think Obama deserved his Peace Prize?

Lela May 13, 2018 at 1:43 PM

Obama was inaugurated on January 20, 2009, and accepted the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo on December 10, 2009, less than a year later. Since most Nobel Prizes are awarded after a lifetime devoted to one’s discipline and/or remarkable service to mankind, we can only gather that Obama got it because his nomination was rigged.

The reasons given for it being awarded, his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,” does not stand up to reason considering his short time in office, and the fact that during that short time in office he managed to alienate the majority of our allies, some dating back centuries, and pretty much ticked off all the rest.

It was a Participation Trophy in a rigged nomination, pure and simple.

Elwood May 13, 2018 at 4:17 PM

Antler:

Try to smoke less!

Covfee May 13, 2018 at 9:46 PM

I find the concept of a “participation trophy” interesting as the actual prize was awarded to only one of the hundreds of nominees. Further, how is the nomination itself “rigged”?

“According to the statutes of the Nobel Foundation, a nomination is considered valid if it is submitted by a person who falls within one of the following categories:

• Members of national assemblies and national governments (cabinet members/ministers) of sovereign states as well as current heads of states
• Members of The International Court of Justice in The Hague and The Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague
• Members of Institut de Droit International
• University professors, professors emeriti and associate professors of history, social sciences, law, philosophy, theology, and religion; university rectors and university directors (or their equivalents); directors of peace research institutes and foreign policy institutes
• Persons who have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
• Members of the main board of directors or its equivalent for organizations that have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize
• Current and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee (proposals by current members of the Committee to be submitted no later than at the first meeting of the Committee after 1 February)
• Former advisers to the Norwegian Nobel Committee”

https://www.nobelprize.org/nomination/peace/index.html

While President Obama did not live up to the hopes that the committee had, that should give insight into how globally loathed Bush’s policies were.

Rollo Tomasi May 14, 2018 at 7:20 AM

From the Nobel website:

“With regard to the Peace Prize, the will of Alfred Nobel stipulated that it was to be awarded to the person “who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses””.

In Obama, the Nobel committee awarded the peace prize to an individual who had accomplished nothing more than winning an election. Regardless of their reasoning, the award was degraded for all prior participants as well as for all those who receive it in the future. Hence, a participation trophy.

Covfee May 14, 2018 at 8:17 AM

Rollo – Again, I think you need to choose a better term to convey your intent. “Participation trophy” implies that literally every nominee receives the prize, which is simply untrue.

Rollo Tomasi May 15, 2018 at 11:50 AM

No, i don’t. A participation trophy is given to an individual that does nothing to earn it. The committee may as well have given the prize to every nominee – that’s the point.

Covfee May 15, 2018 at 12:14 PM

Rollo – I hate to be a stickler, but your contention doesn’t make sense. A participation trophy is given to all the entrants who do not achieve a podium position, while this prize was specifically only given to one person. You disagree with President Obama receiving the Peace Prize, which is fine; but to say it was a “participation trophy” is as absurd as saying that Donald Trump won the “participation trophy” on November 8, 2016.

Rollo Tomasi May 15, 2018 at 11:30 PM

Exactly why I wrote that the committee may as well have awarded every nominee. Although, if they had done that, there’s at least three nominees from that year who had actual accomplishments, so perhaps the prize wouldn’t have been cheapened so much.

“You disagree with President Obama receiving the Peace Prize, which is fine”. So glad I have your approval. I’m all warm and fuzzy inside.

It’s fine that you don’t understand the analogy. Now we can both feel warm and fuzzy.

The left says one thing and the right another. The media has their own agenda to push as does Hollywood. Everybody can choose to believe whoever they want about the state of the Nation but I think the only accurate way to decide how things are going is to look at your own life. Is is good or bad, better or worse or maybe the same since Trump got in? Are your local and State politicians doing things to better your situation or make it worse? Just like the weather, politics are cyclical. Whatever changes are made today will be reversed when the other party takes over and vice versa. We can only ride the wave and make the best of it!

Covfee May 14, 2018 at 6:17 AM

We see that California has a huge budget surplus. The Democrats are offering two solutions , save it or spend it. None of them want to give any of it back to the taxpayers .

Better to build s stupid train to LA then let me decide how to spend my own money.

Covfee May 14, 2018 at 8:30 AM

Unfortunately, history has shown that when returning a surplus back to the taxpayers there are two outcomes: a lack of investment in works that are for the common good (due to inherent self interest), and a lack of available capital when the next emergency arises. While the increased capital in the hands of the taxpayer could increase economic movement, to recoup the funds for state investments more sales and usage taxes will need to be levied, essentially negating the refund in the long term. I think the larger question should be: what is fair for the state as a whole?

Ricardus May 14, 2018 at 9:17 AM

I’m opposed to the train. Seems like a silly idea in a seismically active state like California… then again, so is building high-rises in the liquefaction zones of SF, but what do I know?

However, I would like to see that money be spent on our crumbling infrastructure (potholes, outdated highways), updating the Internet to fiber, paying our teachers, and buying Corvettes for law enforcement so that they can catch criminals LOL.

Original G May 14, 2018 at 9:52 AM

An even better idea, do like TEXAS does.
Regular session of Texas Legislature meets on the second Tuesday in January of each odd-numbered year. That gives them just enough time to get the People’s work done with no time left over for STUPID stuff.

They’re paid $600 per month. So they have day jobs and work for a living unlike the premidonna’s in SAC.

CA state legislature has far too much time on their hands which results in childish games of trying to out liberal each other.
Case in point, “The California Assembly discussed Thursday a bill that would replace Abraham Lincoln or George Washington’s birthday with International Socialist Workers’ Day as a paid holiday.”
http://dailycaller.com/2018/05/11/california-bill-washington-lincoln-holidays-communist/

Covfee May 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM

Original – You neglected to mention that the Texas Legislature holds normal session for up to 140 days, and can be extended by the Governor calling for unlimited special sessions each of which are limited to 30 days. I would counter that if the representatives are not fully employed as such, how can their constituents be certain that their interests are foremost to the official? Further, how do the constituents meet and discuss concerns with their representative if they are not “on the clock”?

Original G May 14, 2018 at 11:08 AM

Covfee …. As to it working, don’t see almost continuous media reports of Stupid stuff spewing from Texas legislature.

An constituents interests are foremost in the minds of members of the CA legislature ? Sounds like something from a stand up comedy routine.

If memory serves Texas enacted lawsuit reform about a decade back. Something you will never see happen in CA and especially it will never in US Congress.

Compare how long it takes to start a business in CA vs Texas.

Covfee May 14, 2018 at 11:57 AM

Original – The media covers the Texas legislation while they are in session, which was densely reported in 2017. Simply because you disagree with their votes does not mean that California’s representatives are ignoring constituents, perhaps you should spend more time communicating your concerns to your elected official, they are quite pleasant to talk to and will at least explain their position if you disagree.
Tort reform is overwhelmingly beneficial to businesses at the expense of the citizens, often strictly limiting ability to seek compensation for damages caused. As of Q2 2017, there were more than 1.5M businesses in California; it seems that the effort of starting a business in the fifth highest global economy is worthwhile regardless of hassles.

Original G May 14, 2018 at 1:02 PM

You continuously refer to businesses as if they are the penultimate entity, to which I simply disagree. There are two goals of any business: profit and growth; as such we must have regulations to protect the workers and the public at large from these companies. I do not care if businesses are unhappy, as people are more important in my view.

Trump vows to reopen smartphone giant ZTE to save Chinese jobs;
https://bit.ly/2KmQtyv

“Huawei and ZTE devices may pose an unacceptable risk to Department’s personnel, information and mission,” said Pentagon spokesman Major Dave Eastburn. “In light of this information, it was not prudent for the Department’s exchanges to continue selling them to DoD personnel.”

Last month the US Commerce Department imposed a “denial of export privileges” on ZTE, which translates to a ban on US companies selling products and services to the China-based company. Huawei is also currently under investigation by the US Department of Justice about whether Huawei violated US sanctions against Iran.

Liberals suppress free speech at University of Michigan

If students at the University of Michigan say anything politically incorrect or out-of-line with the political and social orthodoxy, they may get a knock on their dorm room door from the equivalent of the Thought Police.

Disruptions by liberal students against conservatives are tolerated and ignored by the university.

Or as one student says, “the University has only made it a safe place for those who have the same democratic views that the University promotes.

Aspirin May 17, 2018 at 9:06 AM

Elwood, firing a machine gun is more than pulling a trigger. First, as it is firing the gun’s muzzle want to lift due to the recoil. This makes the gun very hard to aim correctly. Second, continuous firing heats the barrel and a cool-down is needed.

A mounted gun is still affected by the recoil. Simple physics.

Elwood May 17, 2018 at 2:56 PM

Gee, Aspirin, I am really impressed with your knowledge of machine guns. The barrel kicks up on any weapon when you fire it, and continuous firing will cause it to overheat. This is why you fire in short bursts. Any fool knows that.

WHY YOUR HEALTHCARE COST IS SKYROCKETING – It’s Dem corruption

Independent insurance experts point to the flawed provisions of the Affordable Care Act that drive premiums skyward year after year. Never mind who’s in the White House.

The biggest cause, according to McKinsey management consultants, is ObamaCare’s rule forcing healthy people to pay the same premiums as sick people. Before ObamaCare, people in most states buying in the individual market paid premiums that varied depending on their own expected medical needs. Not anymore. Now they’re being coerced into paying the medical bills of the chronically ill.

Five percent of the population consumes almost 50 percent of the health care, but under ObamaCare, everyone pays the same premium. Few would volunteer for such a scheme. That’s why ObamaCare uses force. You buy or you get fined.

Despite soaring premiums, consumers are getting lower-quality coverage than before ObamaCare. McKinsey finds insurers are restricting choices of doctors and hospitals. Major cancer hospitals are off-limits to many plans. If you’re seriously ill, getting medications you need — such as Copaxone to treat M.S. — can be nearly impossible, according to researchers from Harvard Medical School and the University of Texas.

Enter Trump. With Congress stymied, Trump is changing federal insurance regulations to help sticker-shocked consumers. Some 20 million people who can’t afford ObamaCare are either incurring the penalty for not having it or getting an exemption.

Trump’s changes will allow consumers to pay according to their own health needs, and to buy 12-month plans without costly extras like maternity coverage and pediatric dental coverage that are mandatory (even for single guys) in ObamaCare plans.

Trump also pledged to eliminate the penalty, and the new tax-reform law does that in 2019.

Read the link to see who the real liars are.

Covfee May 17, 2018 at 11:23 AM

While the ACA was far from a perfect solution to the health care crisis, there are many people who would be in a worse situation without it. The single largest problems in health care comes down to insurance companies (and all their contracted services) being allowed to profit from care, and facilities/practices being able to have a hidden cost that is variable. We could easily establish that every health care system is not-for-profit, unless we want to admit that their primary goal is not the well-being of their customers. We could also establish set pricing on all procedures within regional areas, allowing the patient to know exactly what the cost will be in advance, as well as making more informed decisions on what insurer will be the most cost effective for their needs. Set pricing will also allow broader coverage from insurance companies, as they will know what the hospital will charge them. We need to end the tragedy of families being bankrupted due to an ambulance taking a victim to one hospital instead of another.

Insurance is, you’re 20 years old, you just graduated from college, and you start paying $15 a month for the rest of your life and by the time you’re 70, and you really need it, you’re still paying the same amount and that’s really insurance.

Randy, I know you’d spew hatred of Trump if he accompanied Jesus when He returned.

In the immortal words of Yogi Berra “It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings.”.

ticks suck…The Democrats had to spend the day pushing back against another djt distortion. djt talks about MS-13 as an immigration problem. Nope. MS-13 is an American gang of central Americans. Any MS-13 gang member arrested coming into America has been deported from America. As a matter of fact, deportations of MS-13 gang members have increased the violence in their home country, effectively adding more reason for those people scared of the violence to try to get away and immigrate into the US.

ABP:

Here is Elwood’s handy dandy always correct immigration policy:

If you’re not here, don’t come.

If you’re not a citizen, go home!

“New California Law Protects Undocumented Immigrants In Court
Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill preventing a person’s immigration status from being discussed in open court, unless a separate hearing is held to allow it.”

“Our courthouses should be places of justice, not places where immigrants are threatened with deportation,” Wiener said in a statement. “This law makes everyone in our community safer by ensuring that witnesses and victims of crime are not afraid to report crimes, go to court, and hold criminals accountable.”

Now an undocumented person cannot be threatened with deportation to prevent their testifying. I’m sure that some will be opposed, but I’m glad that we are putting public safety above immigration status.

MAGA will not happen until we can make our schools safe.

No country can survive when nutcases are running around shooting people.

Our USELESS politicians can’t seem to grasp the magnitude of the problem. This problem seems to have gotten worse since Trump took office.

All students should wear Kevlar.

MAGA ? Sorry about that.

Why is it these nut cases, as you call them, are attracted to Democrat created free fire zones called gun free zones ?
