Mueller Subpoenas Trump Organization, Demanding Documents About Russia

The subpoena is the latest indication that the investigation, which Mr. Trump’s lawyers once regularly assured him would be completed by now, will continue for at least several more months. Word of the subpoena came as Mr. Mueller appears to be broadening his inquiry to examine the role foreign money may have played in funding Mr. Trump’s political activities. In recent weeks, Mr. Mueller’s investigators have questioned witnesses, including an adviser to the United Arab Emirates, about the flow of Emirati money into the United States.

Dr Jellyfinger March 16, 2018 at 8:26 PM

“Since July 2017, we have advised the public that the Trump Organization is fully cooperative with all investigations, including the special counsel, and is responding to their requests,” said Alan S. Futerfas, a lawyer representing the Trump Organization. “This is old news and our assistance and cooperation with the various investigations remains the same today.”

Mueller just trying to stay in the spotlight….

Rex Tillerson’s parting words: Russia did it

Tillerson denounced the poisoning of a former spy in the United Kingdom as “an egregious act” that “clearly came from Russia,” according to The New York Times. He added that he had “become extremely concerned about Russia,” arguing that after spending a year trying to work together with Russia on a number of issues, “we didn’t get very far. Instead what we’ve seen is a pivot on their part to be more aggressive.”

Trump decides to remove national security adviser, and others may follow

President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements.

Just days ago, Trump used Twitter to fire Rex Tillerson, the secretary of state whom he disliked, and moved to install his close ally, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, in the job. On Wednesday, he named conservative TV analyst Larry Kudlow to replace his top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, who quit over trade disagreements.

Wow that tops Trump having an affair with a stripper. Good job.

Badge1104 March 17, 2018 at 8:49 AM

Yeah, good thing for the new stripper story ,because now the liberal-left and media can latch on to something else for the next year-and-a-half since the Russian thing is not panning anything out. they will search for any Hate -Trump item they can.

“Police in Chicago are looking for as many as 60 high school students who trashed a local Walmart after being allowed out of classes to take part in the nationwide walk-out against guns on Wednesday.

The students are from Simeon Career Academy in the city’s South Side.

Like thousands of others across the country, they were allowed out of class at 10am on Wednesday to take part in the protest.

Instead of standing outside the school building as planned, they crossed the parking lot to the Walmart which sits opposite and stormed the store.”

ANOTHER GOOGLE WHISTLE-BLOWER EXPOSES DNC CIA-LEVEL ECHO-CHAMBERING AT GOOGLE

Earlier today, a google whistleblower showed up in a thread on 4chan pol and gave quite a bit of info. Could be a larper, could be legit, see for yourself. Here’s a summary:

First directly from him:

I work for Google, I’m not going to name the internal tech department for obvious reasons, I don’t want anyone to pinpoint who I am. But I’m in tech, and work with AI. I’ll explain.

My team and I created AI bots for twitter. These bots are slightly different than regular AI bots, these are remote signal bots, but I’ll explain what they do.

My team, and a “human intelligence” team, which is really just a propaganda team, work together to make certain topics trend, and persuade public opinion, which persuades political pressure. We do this by a groupthink method, we have a name for it internally, but “consensus cracking” is a more used name externally. But the bots we created, go into twitter conversations and push a narrative. Some of the bots are verified accounts. And they start by arguing a point of view against someone, and then more bots join in and thumbs up the comment. We are doing it with gun control now. More people see a “consensus” of gun control and people on the fence get persuaded to our narrative, and politicians get pressured by thinking it’s actual people. We had whole meetings about 4chan, because you guys, specifically this board, are disrupting the bots. You are basically doing what we are doing, but you are real people. We (not necessarily me) devised a plan to knock you guys from twitter. We accused Russia of doing what WE are doing, and used the narrative to wipe out “suspected bots”, which we knew weren’t bots at all.

Google is using twitter bots to push narratives to persuade the government.

Google accused conservatives of being bots so they could ban them, even though they knew they aren’t bots. The strategy was to blame others for using your own technique.

Google is also using these fabricated twitter numbers are financial reporting, which effects stocks and advertising revenue.

Google also broke anti-trust laws by only allowing “google voice” to be the only free SMS to validate accounts.

NunYa March 16, 2018 at 8:09 PM

Heck google admitted to basis-ing search results against conservatives.

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer says some alleged incidents took place during Trump presidency

“Is there anything in the litany of accusations — you would call them facts — that surround this case that happened while Donald Trump was President?” CNN’s Jake Tapper asked Michael Avenatti, Daniels’ lawyer, during an interview Friday.

“Yes,” Avenatti replied.

Avenatti had claimed earlier Friday in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo that Daniels was “physically threatened to stay silent about what she knew about Donald Trump.”

Vanessa Trump hires criminal defense lawyer in divorce from Donald Trump Jr.

Vanessa Trump filed for divorce in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday. Trump has hired New York-based lawyer David Feureisen amid reports that special counsel Robert Mueller has subpoenaed Trump Organization in his investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.

Trump Jr.’s meeting at Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton during the presidential election has also come under scrutiny.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/vanessa-trump-hires-criminal-defense-lawyer-in-divorce-from-donald-trump-jr-report

Silva March 17, 2018 at 11:40 AM

Vanessa Trump hires a criminal defense attorney to represent her in her divorce from Donald Trump Jr. just as special counsel Robert Mueller subpoenaed the president’s family business.

So, a couple files for an uncontested quick divorce, one where assets can be swiftly transferred, one of them hiring a criminal defense attorney (no divorce attorneys available?), on the same day an independent special counsel subpoenas their family business… probably a coinkydink..

NunYa March 16, 2018 at 8:07 PM

Just like when NYC liberals said big sodas are responsible for making people fat, they blame guns for what people do with them.

Liberals, unwilling to take personal responsibly for their actions nor recognize that others need to as well.

Joe March 16, 2018 at 8:51 PM

Stormy? McCabe? Is anyone out there? The president is a liar and a cheat. If this were Clinton the conservatives would be losing their bloody minds. Where are you guys on this? Nowhere. Crickets.

NunYa March 17, 2018 at 3:30 AM

Again, liberals refuse the hear the facts…

Bill Clinton-
Rapist
Liar
Serial cheater

Hillary Clinton-
Willing to ignore her husbands infidelity
Raises a child in a house with a cheater, knowingly

But those facts don’t FEEL right do they, so they must not be true.

Silva March 17, 2018 at 9:24 AM

NunYa, so does that make everything President Low Hanging Morals does okay? Why were you even bellyaching for 20+ years about the Clintons then?

NunYa March 17, 2018 at 11:35 AM

@Silva, assuming President Low Hanging Fruit is Bill Clinton, no he should pay for his crimes as should his wife, she lied about Benegize and people died.

Don’t know what you mean otherwise, even s/b ever???

As for the Clinton’s yes they are not above the law, they should be prosecuted. But not OJ style, really have to face justice.

Silva March 17, 2018 at 12:34 PM

Well, good job changing the subject, NunYa! We’ve talked about this before, BTW. I don’t see any problem prosecuting ANY lawbreakers no matter their names, especially if people died. Why are there no formal charges, considering the 3 arms of of our government are in control at the top level, and Hillary Clinton seems to be high on their list of detractors. What seems to be the hold up with that? Forgive me if you answered the last time I ashed and I didn’t see it or something. 🙂

It March 17, 2018 at 3:19 PM

The President has a sense of humor. The President has a, healthy, active imagination. Don’t any of you get it?

NunYa March 17, 2018 at 4:11 PM

People did die.

I assume because she is above the law.

Bo, hoo for not answering your question. Are feelings hurt?

Dr Jellyfinger March 17, 2018 at 8:04 PM

From the crowd that declared “character dosen’t matter” we now hear a rally cry to prosecute Trump for his supposed dalliance with a stripper / porn star! (would that even be against the law?)
Pretty bold move for a man the left has labelled a “germaphobe”.

Silva March 18, 2018 at 10:30 AM

Dr Jellyfinger, he labelled his own self a “germaphobe”, loudly and publicly while he was denying the possible existence of any pee pee videos. I never bought it, having heard about his escapades for many years. The 80s were his own personal Vietnam, after all.

Dr Jellyfinger March 18, 2018 at 7:03 PM

I think it was a little before that Silva,,, try 1997

“In his 1997 book The Art of the Comeback, he wrote, “One of the curses of American society is the simple act of shaking hands, and the more successful and famous one becomes the worse this terrible custom seems to get. I happen to be a clean hands freak. I feel much better after I thoroughly wash my hands, which I do as much as possible.” On a number of occasions, he later referred to handshaking as “barbaric.”

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2011/02/does_donald_trump_have_a_glad-.html

Silva March 19, 2018 at 9:43 AM

Wow Dr Jellyfinger, did you read that book? Yeah, that was when I remember hearing it said, I just didn’t recall it was the left who labelled Trump a “germaphobe”, is what I meant to say. So he’s a handwasher, eh? Hmm. Trump and I have something in common😬. Still, I stand by my assertion that he’s not a “germaphobe”. For reasons if not yet universally known, will be in due time. Or sooner.

Dr Jellyfinger March 20, 2018 at 9:05 PM

Lazy girl….. you replied but clearly, you did not read the whole article.
As for Trump, I don’t really give a toot what he did way back when…. I just get weary of listening to the Lefties having kittens over every supposed infidelity he might have had and his wife’s choice of shoes.
Quite frankly, the Blue Team is just ridiculous.

Silva March 23, 2018 at 3:36 PM

Yeah busted. Okay I read the whole article. I think I read it days ago, but I already KNEW that information, so I can’t remember now.

Aspirin March 16, 2018 at 9:35 PM

“The big picture,” McCabe said, “is a tale of what can happen when law enforcement is politicized, public servants are attacked, and people who are supposed to cherish and protect our institutions become instruments for damaging those institutions and people.”

McCabe was fired today, hours before qualifying for his pension.

Forsythe March 17, 2018 at 7:27 AM

Of course McCabe had to go. It’s also likely that he will end up in an Orange Jumpsuit. Along with some of his former colleagues.

One of the leading investigative reporters into this scandal, Sara Carter, reveals that at least one judge is also mired in this scandal.

———
On Dec. 7, without warning, Judge Rudolph Contreras was removed as the presiding judge in the Michael Flynn case.

Little information was given at the time as to why Contreras was removed.

Newly released text messages reveal that FBI Special Agent Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page discussed Strzok’s relationship with U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras, who presided over a Dec. 1, 2017, hearing where former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.

Strzok was removed from Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel’s Office last year after anti-Trump text messages between him and Lisa Page were discovered by the DOJ’s Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

Aspirin March 17, 2018 at 9:18 AM

A “far left liberal platform” is not wanted by the majority of Democrats. If you pay attention, a moderate position is what we want.

Lamb ran as a moderate, not as a Republican.

A weak 47% will not win an election.

Aspirin March 17, 2018 at 9:15 AM

McCabe’s wife does not work for the US government. She ran for her state’s senate (and lost).

She reportedly received campaign donations from a political committee run by Terry McAuliffe, a longtime ally of the Clintons,” The New York Times reported.

Business as usual in American politics. Nothing illegal however.

Aspirin March 17, 2018 at 9:21 AM

Trump’s war on the FBI and the intelligence community is nothing more than an attempt to distract the Mueller investigation.

This is a common tactic of someone wishing to hide behind a fake controversy.

NunYa March 17, 2018 at 10:03 AM

It has been going on for a year and what has he found? Nothing of substance, period.

As well what does collusion really mean anyway. Other than something for the liberals to hang their hats on in hope that he’ll be impeached. All this comes down to is that most voters believe what they read on the Internet. Who’s fault is that? Oh ya, see previous posts, liberals don’t believe in personal responsibility. They blame the lies in the media for their ignorance and actions rather than realizing that they made a choice and it is their fault for doing it. Grow up!

“Los Alamitos might try to opt out of California’s new sanctuary law.

The City Council in Orange County’s second-smallest city is scheduled to vote Monday, March 19 on an ordinance that calls for exempting itself from the California Values Act, SB54, a new law that limits cooperation between law enforcement and immigration authorities.

The state law, which took effect Jan. 1, “may be in direct conflict with federal laws and the Constitution of the United States,” reads the proposed local law.

Stating that council members have taken an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution, the ordinance says the council “finds that it is impossible to honor our oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States” and at the same time be in compliance with the new state law.”

Comedian Kathy Griffin is “in shock” and “so grateful” that her show at New York’s 3,671-seat Carnegie Hall sold out — in one day.

What’s your point?

The Obama years,
“The Internal Revenue Service in 2011 through 2016 documented more than 1.3 million cases of identity theft perpetrated by illegal aliens whom the IRS had given Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN), which are only given to people who are ineligible to work in the United States or receive Social Security Numbers, according to information published by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA).

However, in response to inquiries from CNSNews.com, the IRS could not say if it had referred even one of these cases for criminal prosecution.

TIGTA, which is the inspector general responsible for overseeing the IRS, discovered another approximately 1.2 million cases in 2017 in which an illegal alien working in the United States had filed a tax return reporting wages that had been earned using a Social Security Number that belonged to someone else or was fabricated.

Yet the IRS also could not say whether it referred any of these cases for criminal prosecution.”

It does not mean that there were no cases referred for prosecution. It means that the IRS will not say if any cases were referred for prosecution.

Aspirin … You are correct.
Wondering range and capability of sensing systems at night and under conditions when surrounding hardscape and pavement temperatures are close to that of a human and how software decides what data represents a human. Wondering too what program scan time is ?

When upgrading or installing new industrial process controls we say we idiot proof it, then take it one step further and operator proof it.

Have a problem with testing like this. Yes, it eventually needs to be done yet this flaw likely could have been discovered on a closed test track such as naval weapons station.

Over the years have worked with over a dozen software engineers.
When writing control software every negative situation has to be explored and code has to be written to avoid it happening. There are very few pounding out control code that can get it correct the first go around. We spend long hours discussing what if-s.

When commissioning a process control system we have newest least experience operator do final testing, under supervision of an experienced operator. The least experienced will find if we missed something.

There is one software engineer I’ve worked with I’d trust to write software for a plane my family would fly on. With others there are minor corrections or additional code written.
But have been a few I wouldn’t trust to write software to flush a toilet.

Look forward to hearing comments about this fatality from CA Democrat politicians who have been pushing for autonomous vehicles.

It’s referred to as gerrymandering. Drawing voting district lines to favor to one party so that party will win elections.

In case of splitting CA it would be greatest bit of gerrymandering in the history of the USA.

This is a map of voting outcomes from last presidential election in CA. Red Republican Blue Democrat.

https://legalinsurrection.com/2017/10/plan-to-split-california-into-three-states-may-be-on-next-ballot/

This is one of the plans to split up CA. Comparing the two all areas of conservative voters would be overcome by concentrations of liberal voters. In short there would be three liberal voting states instead of one. All plans I’ve seen favor Democrats.

The four new seats created in US Senate would be Democrat and would stay that way until voters revolt and throw Democrats out of office. Might end up as another Supreme Court case.

Has this taken place in CA ?

“Police in Raleigh, North Carolina, have presented Google with warrants to obtain data from mobile phones from not just specific suspects who were in a crime scene area, but from the mobile phones of all people in the area, reports Raleigh television affiliate WRAL. ”
https://www.fastcompany.com/40546112/police-are-asking-google-to-provide-user-data-for-all-people-near-crime-scenes

“On a satellite image, they drew shapes around the crime scenes, marking the coordinates on the map. Then they convinced a Wake County judge they had enough probable cause to order Google to hand over account identifiers on every single cell phone that crossed the digital cordon during certain times.

In at least four investigations last year – cases of murder, sexual battery and even possible arson at the massive downtown fire in March 2017 – Raleigh police used search warrants to demand Google accounts not of specific suspects, but from any mobile devices that veered too close to the scene of a crime, according to a WRAL News review of court records. These warrants often prevent the technology giant for months from disclosing information about the searches not just to potential suspects, but to any users swept up in the search.”

Former U.S. Congressman Charles Djou (Hawaii) penned an open letter announcing he is resigning from the Republican party over their embrace of Donald Trump and his harmful anti-immigration platform, which has been embraced by the Republican party itself at this point. In a lengthy open letter on Honolulu Civic Beat, Djou lays out his reasons for leaving the Republican National Party;

“Today, after much consideration, I abandon my party because I am unwilling to abandon my principles. I can no longer stand with a Republican Party that is led by a man I firmly believe is taking the party of Lincoln in a direction I fundamentally disagree with, and a party that is unwilling to stand up to him. It disturbs me that the Republican Party under President Donald Trump is now defined as a party hostile to immigration. We are the leader of the free world, not because we are great (or need to be great again), but because we are good. Civility is an inner trait of true character. Trump’s belittling of Sen. Jeff Flake and immature name-calling of Sen. Bob Corker reflect a weakness of character. Trump’s penchant for conspiracy theories, such as his assertion that Sen. Ted Cruz’s father was involved in the assassination of JFK, is disturbing. His poorly constructed stream-of-consciousness tweets are not only immature, but provide real harm to the stability of our democracy. As President George W. Bush recently lamented, “Bullying and prejudice in our public life sets a national tone, provides permission for cruelty and bigotry, and compromises the moral education of children. The only way to pass along civic values is to first live up to them. But I am most disappointed by the failure of the GOP to clearly and consistently condemn Trump’s childish behavior. Sadly today, too many Republicans either applaud Trump’s tirades or greet them with silent acceptance. This leads to an implicit ratification by the GOP of Trump’s undisciplined, uninformed, and unfocused leadership as a core part of the Republican Party. This is something I cannot accept and will not be a part of.”

Could it be he has seen writing on the wall and fears not being reelected in a very, very Blue state. Do believe last go around he won because too many Democrat candidates on the ballot splitting the vote allowed him to win.

Then again to be fair there was a Democrat Congressman from California who didn’t much like President Obama.

“Every week, and sometimes almost every day, the administration rolled out a new program for the country. There was no obvious prioritization and, after the rollout, very little effort to actually pass the latest idea/imperative/plan/edict. Instead, the new programs just kept coming, with the new proposals constantly stepping on the previous day’s message. This rampant “idea disease” squandered the tremendous goodwill generated by the Obama campaign’s message of “hope,” tainting the president’s personal appeal.”

Original G March 20, 2018 at 3:22 PM

Perhaps rather than schools teaching alternate gender identities, how to pass government tests and giving out participation trophies,
schools should deal more with teaching kids how to deal with situations in life.

For some strange reason liberals rather than concentrate on having young people able to cope with life and work thru difficulties, they want to blame inanimate objects. Kid could have used a knife or a vehicle …….

Or is it Democrat career politicians would rather have voters who can’t think for themselves or problem solve and who routinely rely on government to “take care of them”.

Original G March 20, 2018 at 5:03 PM

Obama 2016 explanation from what I recall got little to no push back.
Also don’t recall ever hearing of a push from Obama administration on secure firearm storage.

Politicians are big on empty talk and very small on common sense when it comes to firearms and even more incompetent on subject of mental health education for our youth.

Why not teach our kids how to deal with emotions and situations so violence doesn’t become the solution ?

Do agree with you that with gun ownership absolutely comes responsibility for their proper and secure storage.

One of few things I agree with CA Democrat politicians on is holding owners responsible if their firearms are not secured properly resulting in injury. Don’t recall wording of law they passed.

In addition to what I already posted would add YMCA had a marksmanship program mid 1960s where we were taught proper handling, SAFETY and above all respect for firearms.
Bolt action 22 rifles single round at a time.

Kids these days are taught to be afraid of firearms and that is WRONG.

First time at a range they mandate all shooters go thru a Safety briefing. After his first briefing at Concord range my rather surprised Son told me “they just went over all the stuff you taught us”.

Both my kids, now grown with kids of their own, were taught at an early age how to Safely handle a firearm, respect for the firearm and both can hit what they aim at if the need arises.

Aspirin March 20, 2018 at 6:02 PM

Why should politicians have the need to teach proper firearm use and storage?

The parents of children where guns are owned have the sole responsibility for their security and proper use. If a child gets access to a gun that is used to commit a crime the parents and the child should be criminally responsible

Original G March 20, 2018 at 6:37 PM

Rollo Tomasi March 21, 2018 at 4:45 PM

Aspirin – once again you demonstrate a complete misunderstanding of the Constitution in general and the Bill of Rights in particular. You – just like most big government liberals – believe the constitution or the government bestows rights on the people. You couldn’t be more wrong. The rights protected by the Bill of Rights are natural rights that preexisted the Constitution and the formation of the US government. The Bill of Rights is a list of restrictions on government, not a bestowal of rights. If you don’t see that when you read it, your comprehension needs help.

Rollo Tomasi March 21, 2018 at 5:27 PM

Aspirin seems to be making the case that more federal firearms laws is the magic potion which will cure perceived ills. Obviously, because there are no states that ignore federal immigration and drug laws, right?

Fred P. March 21, 2018 at 9:56 PM

Aspirin, you’ve been told time and time again..,and you fail to listen…

The Bill of Rights does NOT grant rights, nor does it grant that duty to any government agency to hand out those privileges.., as they are NOT privileges.

The BOR recognizes and enumerates those pre-existing rights.

Do a Wikipedia search on this guy and read section “Career and controversies as educator”. Would you want your kid in his classroom?

Aspirin March 21, 2018 at 2:15 PM

I served in the US Army and Salicido is not entirely wrong, but saying it to students is a bad idea.

Original G March 21, 2018 at 3:01 PM

Aspirin … I don’t disagree.

Have a few coworkers who I refer to as “fugitives from burger king”.
An I apologize to burger king and their employees.

After reading wiki page entry “Career and controversies as educator”
am surprised the guy was still teaching.

Also wonder how many more of his type, with tenure, are out there polluting kids minds ? Is too bad most parents can’t find the time to audit classes their kids are taking.

It appears he is a Democrat and has been town’s city council member for quite a few years.

Oh yes, that’s right, aspirin. You served during the VIET NAM ERA wasn’t it? In San Ramon if I remember correctly. With surgeon, right?

Fred P. March 22, 2018 at 10:30 AM

I thought he/she taught machine guns while as a carpenter…..

Venice March 22, 2018 at 11:06 AM

Ah yes Fred, I forgot about the machine guns and that carpenter thing. Isn’t it amazing that one person had so many accomplishments in just one lifetime.
Why, if only she were a community organizer………… just imagine………

It March 23, 2018 at 12:11 AM

I have always wondered, Aspirin, just what you were teaching those machine guns. I could be wrong … wouldn’t be the first time … but don’t machine guns sorta already know pretty much what their supposed to do?

“Fox News responded to Peters’ remarks in a statement to CNN: “Ralph Peters is entitled to his opinion despite the fact that he’s choosing to use it as a weapon in order to gain attention. We are extremely proud of our top-rated primetime hosts and all of our opinion programing.”

Yes, “opinion programming” is slanting news reports to fit whatever bias Fox is supporting, and Fox is virtually all right wing bias.

I knew Fox for what is was from its very beginning, a blatant propaganda outlet feeding an undereducated audience nonsense called “news”.

Original G March 21, 2018 at 4:42 PM

And msnbc and cnn are pure as the driven snow, truthful and unbiased ? ? ?

Simple solution, watch none of them. To little information, too many talking heads spewing slanted opinion and far too many commercials.
Not worth watching.

Prefer facts from numerous sources and many outside the USA.
There is an over concentration of USA media ownership by a very few companies. Do a search as to ownership of cable network channels.
You will be surprised.

In my opinion ownership is too concentrated and should be broken up as ATT and Standard Oil were. News like booze should be undiluted and free of opinions.

To bad Claycord isn’t nationwide, country would be better off..

Rollo Tomasi March 21, 2018 at 5:25 PM

Fox actually uses the terms “primetime hosts” and “opinion programming”. CNN does all the same things and calls it journalism. At least MSNBC is open about their bias.

Fred P. March 22, 2018 at 6:36 AM

As opposed to msnbc and cnn? You’re telling us that they’re NOT “blatant propaganda outlets feeding an undereducated audience nonsense called “news”?

Come and keep your comrade warm

The video released by Tempe police on Wednesday shows the car driving 40mph in a 45-mph zone along a relatively empty roadway last Sunday night.

As the car continues on its journey, a woman walking while rolling her bicycle is seen crossing the street.

The clip stops just a split second before impact.”

At speed of 40 mph the vehicle was traveling 58.67 feet per second.

Not that I mind….. just can’t find a political angle on the story.

Original G March 21, 2018 at 8:59 PM

Guess I should have added this from my 3/19 7:55 PM post.
“Look forward to hearing comments about this fatality from CA Democrat politicians who have been pushing for autonomous vehicles.”

It March 21, 2018 at 10:20 PM

So, Uber hires convicted felons who are texting while getting paid to be the safety driver in self-driving cars? Must be some sort of liberal philosophy working model of progressive employment standards.

There we go! Thanks OG…. that dovetailed nicely and now my OCD won’t keep me awake all night.

This isn’t political. It is technical.

“Look forward to hearing comments about this fatality from CA Democrat politicians who have been pushing for autonomous vehicles.”

Seriously ?

Fred P. March 22, 2018 at 10:36 AM

Yes – seriously…

It’s technical – driven by politics.

Don’t bother talking to us about technology. You’ve already demonstrated your lack of knowledge on multiple other subjects….

And you’ll be run right into the ground on any discussions on technology. Being able to post on a blog doesn’t mean you kbnow anything about technology.

In which country is a politician under criminal investigation allowed to fire those who are investigating the politician?

1. China.
2. Russia.
3. Brazil.
4. Cuba.
5. USA.

Correct answer: USA.

Fred P. March 22, 2018 at 10:33 AM

1. China.
2. Russia.
3. Brazil.
4. Cuba.
5. USA.

Correct answer: USA.

Now here is a better question:

“What crime has Trump committed?”

AlwaysBePositive March 23, 2018 at 9:26 AM

dj…no indictments don’t mean a crime hasn’t been committed. Let’s start at the violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution. Not a crime, but it is an impeachable offense. Let’s continue with the admitted payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels. Not a crime except it is. It is a clear violation of campaign finance laws. Let’s end with money laundering. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is most likely a duck.

Aspirin March 23, 2018 at 9:28 AM

Dr. Jelly, I don’t know if Trump has committed a crime but we all know that he and his administration is under investigation for possible crimes.

The former head of the American Nazi Party ran for the Republican nomination of Congress in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District. No Republican stepped up to oppose him.

On Tuesday, despite his vocal Holocaust denial, his anti-Semitic rhetoric, and his white supremacist views, 20,339 Illinois Republicans, according to preliminary totals, cast their ballots for Arthur Jones.

Original G March 22, 2018 at 4:43 PM

Perhaps just a little research would avoid embarrassment.

Last time a a Republican won election in Illinois’s 3rd congressional district was in 1973.

Why would a serious Republican candidate waste their time, effort and money running for office there? Especially after it was redistricted in 2011.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illinois%27s_3rd_congressional_district#List_of_representatives

Jones has zero chance of winning and is probably only doing it to satisfy a highly over inflated ego. An Republican party has publicly disavowed him.

The bill was a almost the size of the Obamacare.

Let us hope FED will not repeat the stupidity of the debacle Greenspan started of raising rates June 2004 to July 2006 from 1% to over 5% only to lower down to 0.09% in December 2008.

What was surprising Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari voting this meting to hike rates. Looking forward to reading his message of explanation as to why he voted in the affirmative.

Back in 2005 Democrats filibustered as method to obstruct a Republican President. You still remember who was President then ?

If today’s Senate rules had been in effect then petulant immature behavior of Democrats would not have had no effect and his approval would have been assured.

Have wondered do Democrat politicians get their immature arritude from those who vote for them or is it the other way round ?
