Anybody out there in Claycord go to the 1988 U.S. Olympic Boxing Trials at the Concord Pavilion?

Very cool. I used to work at Little C Athletic Club, and remember sometimes picking up Bomani Parker(Parker White) from the Bart Station so he could train.

Quarter finals were held at DVC.

The finals were held at the Pavillion.

Got to meet Lou Duva.

Bouts at the Hilton, Finals at Pavilion. It was GREAT! I still have a pin from it.

I sat right behind Sugar Ray, Great Fighters. Roy Jones, Michael Carbajal, Riddick Bowe, Ray Mercer.
