A man was robbed by two men on Port Chicago Hwy. near Krueger Dr. in Concord on Sunday evening around 10:30.

At least on of the suspects was described as a Hispanic male adult who was armed with a knife.

The suspects were not located, and the victim wasn’t injured.

If only that man had a way to defend himself and his property. It is a shame that Killafornia cares more about criminals than citizens.

I think it’s pronounced Commiefornia

Yeah, I wish things had escalated and the man had been stabbed to death for pulling a knife..not.

Mal December 11, 2017 at 4:03 PM

pulling a gun*

The deterrence of law is not working, the deterrence of getting shot in the face might. Also why would he pull the gun if he couldn’t control the situation? To get stabbed? Your fantasies are ridiculous.

Do not go out late, early, alone, unarmed. This isn’t your city anymore, its theirs.

Mal December 11, 2017 at 4:03 PM

So dramatic… hahaa.

Kind of true!

Conceal carry might have prevented this!,

@tifokcis why the fear mongering? Life is full of difficulties, pitfalls and otherwise unfavorable scenarios. It’d be a sad day If you really let that keep you from living your life.

Mel December 11, 2017 at 9:12 AM

Well, if you still want a life to live, you have to do things to protect yourself. Knowing that our lawmakers have made it so criminals have more rights that law abiding citizens, we would be foolish to not realize what effect that has had on our city and that area specifically. You call it fear mongering, but most of us call it simple truth. Would you leave money n your seat while you park at the mall? Nope. This is the same things. Those of us who understand that live in reality. Sure, we wish it were different and that law could actually be upheld again, but, alas.

I didn’t used to fear. I’m big strong and physically fit. But in the last two to three years Concord has changed so much that I have become afraid, sorry to say.

@Mel There is a big difference between being afraid to leave your house alone and leaving money in your car. Even though both do sound extremely silly for an adult to be doing.

Fear accomplishes absolutely nothing. This is your city, is it not? It’s a beautiful one at that, so go out and enjoy it. Leave the pistol at home too while you are at it though.

You’re correct to have that fear, it’s gonna be some skinny little scrap with a 40 cal. that’ll get you. There’s no more lets duke it out, those days are gone. Keep your eyes open, steer clear of the crap and call the P.D. when stuff is going down.
