Chopper was flying over concord state streets by Clayton. Police scanner said the chopper was looking around the area of New Hampshire Dr and the power plant by YVR on the horse trail. Chopper was unable to locate anybody. Chopper is no longer in the area. All this as of about 5 mins ago

At about 7:00 pm the cops had someone stopped in front of the old elephant bar. I counted 8 police cars. Could have been related. Hope they got em!

I heard the copter earlier in the evening last night and was listening on the scanner also, it sounded like the car was in one location and they were looking for the perp there. Then the scanner went dark, so I turned off the scanner.

Hope they caught the person.

Another big manhunt with no result.

Prop 47 rules. An “alleged assault on an officer” apparently justifies spending $1200/hour for a helicopter to pin down a cockroach.

Too bad the officer couldn’t drop him on the spot. Not likely to be found any time soon.

Mayor I heard the helicopter around 3am. Anything happen?

# WC resident as far as I’m concerned it is money well spent. The thug criminals need to know that no one is above the law. If that was you that was assaulted wouldn’t you want justice??? We need to give the police the authority to take our streets back.

People continue to drive like idiots, not only in Claycord but in the entire Bay Area.
