Dan Helix has apparently resigned from the CNWS CAC. He is concerned about the lack of knowledge of the people the council appointed to the CAC and that they went ahead and approved the land plan anyway. I have to agree with him on this.

Oh, swell.

Well, the Concord City Council meeting is certainly interesting tonight. The 15 minute public comment period turned into an hour public comment period with a very passionate young man as the last public speaker.

Hope – Yes, I was afraid he might resign. He is one of the few people qualified to be on the CAC. Nobody else wants to do their homework.

The Concord City Council members are listening and asking staff to take actions based upon comments made at the meetings. So, if you go and have your voice heard, you can make a difference. Even if you are too passionate like the young man tonight. Laura handled him very well.

I like the way Laura runs the council meetings. Very professional and respectful of public input.
