The kneeling is still going on in the NFL and reactions also keep making news.

Was reported FORD issued a statement on the issue,
” Ford “respects individuals’ rights to express their views, even if they are not ones we share. That’s part of what makes America great.” ”

Well there has been at least one response to that carefully crafted PC statement by Sheriff Julian Whittington from Bossier Parish, Lousiana.

” Sheriff Whittington –
“The recent events surrounding the NFL, its players and their audacity to thumb their collective noses at the American flag, the American military as well as the obvious disdain for the profession of law enforcement in general forces me to take a stand.”

“NFL players have the right to protest as they deem necessary, but we, the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and the taxpayers of Bossier Parish have a right to spend our money elsewhere.””
https://www.facebook.com/bossiersheriff/posts/1532140823559605

Some former members of the military pursue careers in law enforcement and they have RESPECT for OUR country.
To the Sheriff of Bossier Parish I say THANK YOU ! ! !

House of Representatives v. Burwell was about how Democrats SCREWED UP when they wrote and passed Obamacare by failing to provide money to pay reimbursements to insurers.

Guess Democrats should have read their own bill.
Had they read it they might have realized the problem and fixed it.

Unfortunately the short memoried Democrat career politicians will be calling President Trump names and blaming him for the job a Congress controlled by Democrats failed to do.

“California Sheriffs Revolt, Call On Congress To Stop Sanctuary State Movement”

“Most of the state’s sheriffs argue that the law limits their ability to remove dangerous, repeat offenders from their communities…

…Sheriffs said the law would prevent police from notifying ICE of self-admitted members of MS-13 or other gangs if they were arrested for misdemeanor crimes such as assault and battery, possession of narcotics, being under the influence of narcotics, or driving without a license.

In addition to that, there is great leniency with drunk driving cases as well. In order for drunk driving to be considered felonious activity, a driver must be arrested four times in one decade. Not once, but four times.

In other words, “police can only call federal immigration authorities if they arrest an illegal immigrant with a violent felony on his or her record.” So what they have done is make the threshold for a felony offense much higher.

Thus, a drunken illegal immigrant can drive, put lives in danger, and be arrested up to four times before their name would be handed over to the federal immigration authorities.”

Liberals mainly dwell in wealthy, “progressive” bubbles. Most have been educated by left wing professors. Lack of diversity in higher education is nothing short of tragic, notes civil libertarian Nat Hentoff. In a 2010 survey of 24,000 college students, only a third thought it safe to hold unpopular views. Professors with left-biased political ideology have been shown to grade students poorly if they disagree with them.

Since 1990, the ranks of government workers have grown from five million to twenty million—at a rate of twice the population growth. Self-serving public sector unions primarily back left wing Democrats with donations from union dues. Basically, this is bribery.

With the election of President Trump, it is obvious that Republicans still have a voice. Yet, while the left has not yet completely overpowered society, left-wing authoritarianism is growing. Between 2007 and 2010, a UC study found that left wing views among faculty members increased from 55% to 63%. Conservative views dropped from 16% to 12%.

If this trend continues, conservative-free colleges may become the norm. In totalitarian regimes this could be expected, but it is a travesty in the United States.

Donald Trump is in the hospitality industry. He knows how to keep people happy, otherwise they wouldn’t be coming back to his establishments and he’d be out of business. He also is able to quickly adjust to changing conditions and proceed in the correct direction to accomplish his goals. He knows about keeping the highest standards in food delivery, room cleanliness, restaurant service, public health concerns, etc., etc., etc., He knows who to admit to his establishments and who not to, and how to keep the ones he admits happy. He may not be the President you want right now, but he is the President you need. Thank you President Trump for forcefully taking the reigns of this nation and putting us back on track with your excellent appointment of people to get the job done making the country great, again. We wallowed in the worst scum of leadership during the past eight years under jBarack Obama, and the tide has turned. #MAGA

19 Dr. Jellyfinger October 14, 2017 at 1:08 PM

Dorothy …. both parties, Republicans & the Democrats are full of crap & trying to maintain the old business as usual money making game by serving the lobbyists and ignoring the taxpayers.
Trump is trying to bust that up & is getting resistance from practically everyone…. he isn’t working for the R’s or the D’s… he’s working for us.
We finally elected a President who isn’t a politician & already has more money than he will ever need… so it’s kind of hard to bribe him… why do you think everyone is making up lies and outrageous scandals?
They are desperately trying to keep Washington corruption & cronyism alive.
Remember all those Republican Senators who voted to repeal Obamacare & then when Trump was elected they voted NOT to repeal it?
They are LIARS… in it for themselves & conning the people who voted for them… just like their Democrat counterparts…. keeping the public buying their BS while they pocket the money.
Maybe “doing more harm than good” to the political parties is actually the right thing to do.

Did San Diego by their actions help cause the deadly hepatitis A outbreak and are other cities going down the same path?

First some background info,
California accounts for about 21% of total homeless population in America.

“California’s deadly hepatitis A outbreak could last years, official says”
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4956096/California-s-deadly-hepatitis-outbreak-years.html

“Gov. Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency over the deadly hepatitis A outbreak in California.”
http://abc7.com/health/ca-declares-state-of-emergency-over-hepatitis-a-outbreak/2529246/

“Santa Cruz County hepatitis A outbreak affects homeless”
http://www.santacruzsentinel.com/article/NE/20170831/NEWS/170839935

“City workers fear Hepatitis A outbreak among homeless in Oakland”
http://www.ktvu.com/news/city-workers-fear-hepatitis-a-outbreak-among-homeless-in-oakland

IMPORTANT,
“In order for the virus to survive, it needs to keep moving from person to person through what the medical community calls the “fecal-oral route.” Because the virus is shed in human stool, it can end up in food or drink that another person consumes, allowing the microscopic pathogens to enter a new host.”
http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/health/sd-me-hepatitis-origins-20170918-story.html
……………….

One scenario put forth as to why hepatitis A epicenter is in San Diego.

California’s Progressive Liberals feeling guilty and wanting to show how compassionate they are, went about striking down anti vagrancy laws and municipal codes starting back in 2006 and later on banning plastic bags.
An about now your wondering how did any of these contribute to the outbreak? Two more important ingredients, shallow thinking politicians and bureaucrats.

Before Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game in 2016 politicians and non elected bureaucrats running city of San Diego became concerned about their cities look good and possibility of national media reporting negatively about large number of homeless and their plight.

More important motivator was probably possible effects of such negative reporting on those seeking higher office in the future.
So being good little mirror worshipers, they decided to get rid of the homeless population along any routes fans would take to the playoffs, around downtown areas and popular tourist spots.
OK, that sounds normal enough for CA’s shallow thinking politicians.

“In late April, homeless advocates discovered the city was installing jagged rocks under Interstate 5 at Imperial Avenue to discourage camping. The motivation seemed clear: Imperial leads straight to Petco Park, home of this year’s All-Star Game. The rocks, advocates argued, were part of a larger effort—similar to one in San Francisco before this year’s Super Bowl—to get homeless people out of the area.”
http://www.voiceofsandiego.org/topics/government/rocks-deter-homeless-encampments-star-game-prep-emails-show/

BUT downtown and those tourist spots had public bathrooms used by the homeless. If anyone in city government thought about adverse effects on rousting the homeless they must have been vastly outnumbered.
Homeless ended up out of sight out of mind with many living under freeway structures lacking any basics. After the play off city got fewer complaints about the homeless …. so problem solved or so the shallow thinkers believed.

Once again politicians and non elected bureaucrats concerned with a look good took easier softer way to make themselves appear GREEN (San Diego plastic bag ban) and caring more about appearances used knee jerk not thought out measures to quickly deal with the homeless before the Baseball play off.

An that plastic bag ban, still being human beings homeless would use them to dispose of excrement. As already mentioned ….
hepatitis A transmission is thru fecal-oral route.

San Diego is now going to provide areas for the homeless with basic hygiene facilities including hand washing facilities plus they are trying to pressure wash fecal matter from streets, alleys and sidewalks.

Counties with hepatitis A problems include San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz and some city workers of Oakland have expressed concern.

So, wonder if unthinking politicians and non elected bureaucrats had taken the time and spent the money providing basic hygiene for the homeless how much cheaper for tax payers, in the long run, would this all have been?

Had they done the humane thing in the first place perhaps 18 human beings would still be alive.

Problem with many CA politicians and bureaucrats they are easily influenced and lack cognitive skills needed to survive in real world business situations. After all in government it’s not like they’re wasting their own money.
Ya think voters will hold any of the politicians accountable ???

Did human beings matter less because they were homeless ?

Aspirin …. Do some research on The Federal Reserve, monetary policy and inflation. Next round of Inflation has already been programmed in by the FED’s price fixing of interest rates artificially low for better part of a decade starting back at the end of 2008.
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/FEDFUNDS

Federal Reserve at the peak was pumping into Obama’s weak recovery 85 Billion Dollars PER MONTH. The teleprompter lecturer presided over the weakest economic recovery since WW2.

High corporate tax rate coupled with erratic political instability and regulatory uncertainty both created by obama administration is crippling America’s GDP.

From a then Democrat member of Congress,
“In the president’s first year in office, his administration suffered from what I call “idea disease.” Every week, and sometimes almost every day, the administration rolled out a new program for the country. There was no obvious prioritization and, after the rollout, very little effort to actually pass the latest idea/imperative/plan/edict. Instead, the new programs just kept coming, with the new proposals constantly stepping on the previous day’s message. This rampant “idea disease” squandered the tremendous goodwill generated by the Obama campaign’s message of “hope,” tainting the president’s personal appeal.”
http://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/cardozas-corner/198861-the-professorial-president

Toward end of Obama first term even MSNBC was questioning his erratic an unfocused leadership.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcvjbQ_GRd0

Obama aside, government buries itself in reports, is too big and too slow to react in a timely manner to changes in the economy.

@original #35 – kinda like what deSaulnier used to push…”there ought to be a law.”

Just passing laws isn’t leadership.

38 Fred P. October 16, 2017 at 1:11 PM

National Rifle Association spokeswoman Dana Loesch announced Sunday on Twitter that her family had been forced to move suddenly after she received multiple death threats from gun control advocates.

Loesch, a conservative commentator and syndicated talk radio host, followed the announcement of her family’s move by condemning the way politically progressive society has treated not just her, but conservative women as a whole.

In the wake of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct allegations, many women are telling their stories of assault on Twitter, using the hashtag, #MeToo. Loesch used the hashtag to tell her story of how she is being threatened for her views on guns and the Second Amendment.

And again – the liberals demonstrate their hypocrisy.

The White House Reads 10/16/17

CORPORATE TAX CUT WILL PROVIDE HUGE BOOST TO WAGES
– Joseph Lawler, Washington Examiner

The Washington Examiner’s Joseph Lawler reports President Trump’s goal of lowering the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent will translate into $4,000 to $9,000 in the pockets of hardworking Americans. Citing a new analysis from the Council of Economic Advisers, Lawler reports “at the heart of [CEA Chairman Kevin] Hassett’s argument is the observation that, in recent years, countries with low corporate tax rates have seen higher wage gains than countries with high corporate tax rates.” Lowering the U.S. corporate rate will encourage companies to invest in America, rather than parking their profits overseas. Hassett calculates the 15 percent corporate rate cut could boost average household incomes from $83,143 in 2016 to as much as $92,222, with median household income rising from $59,039 to as much as $65,486, Lawler reports.

In Forbes, Avik Roy writes President Trump’s two Obamacare-related policy announcements last week were anything but “sabotage” or a “gutting” of the health care law. He argues, “a sober, factual analysis reveals that the Trump decisions will be fairly modest – and largely positive – in their effect.”

————

Newt Gingrich in Fox News argues why President Trump “did exactly the right thing Friday when he announced that he would renew sanctions on the Iranian regime and decline to certify the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (also known as the Iran Deal) negotiated by President Obama.”

————

In The Wall Street Journal, Steve Milloy writes the “Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed repeal of the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan is a milestone,” and that “No Republican administration has ever mustered the courage to roll back a major EPA regulation,” even ones with no economic or climate benefits.

————

MarketWatch reports the Dow has “registered 48 record closes – its most all-time high finishes in a single year since 2013.” Why is the market headed higher? “Some of the recent gain has been attributed to optimism around President Donald Trump’s tax plan,” MarketWatch explains, adding “that enthusiasm centers on the belief that he will implement Wall Street-boosting measures, like deregulation and tax cuts.”

A military analyst is suggesting that the Taliban Five be returned to Gitmo now that Bowe Bergdahl has pleaded guilty.

After the Taliban Five swap, Obama held a celebratory press conference in the White House Rose Garden with Bergdahl’s parents. Papa Bergdahl — sporting a Taliban-style beard, and citing the Koran, said:

“Bismillah al-rahman al-rahim.” That’s Arabic for “in the name of Allah the most gracious, the most merciful.”

It got more awkward for the Obama administration when Bergdahl’s former troopmates got the news.

President Trump once again managed to get career politicians of Congress off their dead azzes and actually do something.

“Key senators announced a bipartisan deal Tuesday to fix parts of the nation’s healthcare law and head off large premium increases faced by consumers in some states.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Health Committee, announced the tentative agreement with the top Democrat on the panel, Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.).

The agreement would continue cost-sharing payments to health insurers that President Trump eliminated last week.

“President Trump has encouraged this,” Alexander told reporters.

Trump, at a news conference with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, appeared to endorse the deal: “We have been involved, and this is a short-term deal,” he said, adding that it would last for “the next year or two” so that “we don’t have this dangerous little period.” ”

‘New Clinton Foundation scandal: Now Russians revealed to have routed millions of dollars to it while Hillary was Secretary of State to boost Moscow’s nuclear ambitions’

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4990408/Russian-nuke-bribes-known-uranium-deal-approved.html

“Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show.

They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

The racketeering scheme was conducted “with the consent of higher level officials” in Russia who “shared the proceeds” from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.”

Another day another attempt by one of the liberal media to smear those they have the mindset to hurt. It is unfortunate so many working in liberal alphabet media can’t be bothered with even the most basic of background information on those they hold in such low regard. Many lack even the basics of empathy or civility, striving instead for seeking quick notoriety among peers as they strive to ascend in the pecking order.

Add to those qualifications social media and more than a few have demonstrated their adeptness at clueless impulsiveness in being stupid at the speed of light.

Latest example,
“A CNN political reporter has come under fire for a tweet that appeared to be mocking polio survivor Sen. Mitch McConnell as he held hands with President Trump after a press conference in the Rose Garden.

The tweet by CNN’s Daniella Diaz Monday afternoon was posted along with a video of Trump guiding McConnell up stairs. It was captioned ‘That hand-lock between Trump and McConnell, though.’

Diaz’s colleague, CNN’s Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju, weighed in writing ‘McConnell is a polio survivor, a reason why stairs can be tricky at times.’

Raju added in ‘McConnell often goes up a step at a time, sometimes needs railing for assistance. This time, used Trump for balance.’ ”
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4990396/CNN-reporter-mock-Trump-help-McConnell-not-realizing-polio.html

‘Tis unfortunate so many these days can not be bothered with civility, instead succumbing to the pack mentality and lack even a base desire for facts prior to voting OR reporting.

One with the most advertising gets your vote?

@Dr Jellyfinger there are already screams from the left about weaponized drones and drones invading privacy. As soon as I saw the hige gaps in the windows it was an invitation to park a live video drone about 4 feet outside the room watching the shooter. SWAT could have all the intel 40 minutes earliier just from the drone feed.
And even unarmed, the big drones could do severe damage to someone intent on shooting a sniper rifle instead.
And yes, a flashbang or two would allow a breach by SWAT.
how many fewer casualties if the politicians had allowed drones to end the attack 40 minutes earlier?

Congress probes Hillary/Russia nuclear racketeering scandal and coverup.

Ironically, three officials involved in the Russia probe of President Trump — Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, and James Comey, may have had a hand in covering up a far more damaging Hillary/Russia scandal.

“According to government documents and recent news reports, the Obama Justice Department had an criminal investigation for bribery, extortion, money laundering, into Russian company officials purchasing Uranium One,” said Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

Robert Mueller was the FBI Director during the initial stages of the Russian uranium investigation, until 2013. James Comey became the FBI Director in 2013. James Rosenstein, then-U.S. Attorney, supervised the case.

Did the Justice Department conceal evidence during the Obama administration to prevent a scandal that would harm Barack Obama’s presidency? Was Hillary being protected in her quest to succeed him?

The true Russian scandal is slowly emerging. It involves bribery, racketeering, money laundering, extortion, control of America’s nuclear assets.

In addition to the shady Uranium One dealings, Hillary Clinton and her associates recruited U.S. high-tech firms such as Google, Cisco and Intel to create a high-tech hub under the auspices of the Russian Skoldovo foundation. Their goal? Learn U.S. technology to build a kind of Russian Silicon Valley for Putin.

Of 28 American, European and Russian firms that took part, 17 were donors to the Clinton Foundation.

In 2014, the FBI wrote to those 17 American firms.

FBI Assistant Special Agent Lucia Ziobro stated: “The FBI believes the true motives of the Russian partners, who are often funded by the government, is to gain access to classified, sensitive, and emerging technology.”

During the Obama Administration, the Russians openly gave money to government officials and their allies. In return, they gained influence and access to vital national security resources.

It’s time to end the farcical investigation of President Trump by Robert Mueller.

Congress needs to focus instead on the activities that involved Russian and the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton Foundation.

Melanie Trump’s staff comes in at under $500,000 per year. If you don’t believe it, I invite you to fact check it.
