It would have been easier to just change the name to Bait Shop!

Wow!!!! This is, in my opinion, the best sushi restaurant this side of the tunnel. Now that things have been fixed it should be even better. Good news!!

My delicate stomach and I have eaten here several times and never had any issue except for the vermin out in the parking lot. The panhandlers and tweaks that frequent the area make it an adventure. If only this spot were located elsewhere it would be my top sushi go to. It’s clear that the owner of this strip mall does not take care in maintaining his property.

Oh my … this is very disappointing. Like Matt from Concord, I too thought it was really good sushi. Don’t think I’ll be able to ever go again after learning this.

Maybe I should check it out! Do they serve uni? Saba?

Uni is nasty stuff wherever you go….ewww.

I swear that place gave me the runs from their hamachi sushi. I got sick a few times there. It’s good, but I always was wondering why that place would make me sick afterwards

Considering the area I believe it, but it’s still good sushi & I haven’t gotten diaherra from it yet

16 Silva August 11, 2017 at 6:23 PM

nytemuvr, I eat it for breakfast. Dessert. Mmmmmm…

No uni for u-me…I was recently reminded about people’s food preferences….have at it, enjoy.

😁nytemuvr, It’s really just my test to see if a sushi restaurant is worth a visit. If they don’t serve fresh (edible) uni and saba, they aren’t.😁

It is hard enough eating raw fish let alone knowing they had a problem like that! Sorry I will not go there!

I’m sure the location doesn’t help. It’s (arguably) my favorite sushi spot in the area…at least until Mikuni’s opens up.

Eat at Ozora, Treat and Oak Grove. Clean and voted best sushi restaurant in East Bay.

Ozora is a great restaurant!
