Shots Fired in Downtown Concord – Police Investigating Near Pacheco St.

Concord Police are searching the area around Pacheco St. in the city’s downtown district after shots were fired just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

As of now, no injuries have been reported.

A description of the suspect has not been released at this time.

Yes there were shots fired right by my house they’re on my street they have it blocked off

@ #2,…a few years ago there were gun shots fired mid day, VERY close to my house too. Not very comforting at all. Sorry to hear this,..I think it’s a cute little area of town and hope it stays safe for you.

Yeah, let’s build a $2 Million pathway from BART to Todos Santos plaza.
Until Concord gets a handle on downtown crime, I’d rather visit somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Just another example of how Concord has gone from nice little town to the barrio.

We heard them from our home last night…. We love this area and typically have no issues with violence or anything scary other than a homeless person going through the garbage cans. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again it was pretty scary.
