A MYSTERIOUS CASE INVOLVING TURKEY, IRAN, AND RUDY GIULIANI

The U.S. government, however, believes that Zarrab masterminded a sprawling operation to help the Iranian government evade economic sanctions that were put in place to hinder the country’s nuclear-weapons program.

Zarrab fired most of his lawyers and hired Rudy Giuliani, a confidant of President Trump, and Michael Mukasey, the former U.S. Attorney General. Then Trump fired Bharara, the prosecutor who indicted Zarrab in the first place. With a legal team friendly to the President in place, and a hostile prosecutor out of the way, Zarrab may be hoping for a sweet deal from the prosecution.

The Democrats cry that “Trump & Russia Stole the Election”. It is an absurd notion. But then, Democrats like to throw accusations around that they themselves are most guilty of employing.

Recently Dr. Evelyn Farkas and her MSNBC appearance bragged that the Trump administration was being surveilled.

She told America she had encouraged her colleagues across the Obama administration to leak information as fast as they could.

Susan Rice leaked conversations, texts, emails, throughout the intelligence community.

There was a clear strategy to spy on the Trump camp to steal the presidency. Hillary, Barack, Jarett, Rice, Rhodes, Clapper, Brennan, Comey, Podesta, Brazile, Mook, Palmieri, Wasserman-Schultz and other deviant political operatives were working overtime to steal the election.

Not the Russians.

@2
Are you serious? EVERYBODY — including his own party and members of his own administration — is confused about Trump’s “strategy.” Because he doesn’t have one. During the campaign, he repeatedly claimed that he had beautiful, tremendous plans which he couldn’t yet reveal. When he was elected, it (unsurprisingly) turned out he didn’t have any plans, not for health care or for anything else. Because he was winging it, a massive number of government positions were unfilled. Now he’s just veering wildly from one position to another — on extremely important and delicate domestic and international matters. HE. HAS. NO. STRATEGY. At least when he’s not playing golf. How long are you going to chug the Kool-Aid?

North Korean missile ‘blows up’ on test launch
http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN17H0NL
__________

Three years ago, President Barack Obama ordered Pentagon officials to step up their cyber and electronic strikes against North Korea’s missile program in hopes of sabotaging test launches in their opening seconds.

Soon a large number of the North’s military rockets began to explode, veer off course, disintegrate in midair and plunge into the sea. Advocates of such efforts say they believe that targeted attacks have given American antimissile defenses a new edge and delayed by several years the day when North Korea will be able to threaten American cities with nuclear weapons launched atop intercontinental ballistic missiles.

“The KGB has adopted novel, brutal and apparently effective methods of dealing with terrorists who attack Soviet interests in the Middle East, an Israeli newspaper reported Monday.

The Jerusalem Post said the Soviet secret police last year secured the release of three kidnaped Soviet diplomats in Beirut by castrating a relative of a radical Lebanese Shia Muslim leader, sending him the severed organs and then shooting the relative in the head.

The incident began when four Soviet diplomats were kidnaped last September by Muslim extremists who demanded that Moscow pressure the Syrian government to stop pro-Syrian militiamen from shelling rival Muslim positions in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.

The militiamen, the Jerusalem paper said, did not cease their attacks, and the body of one of the Soviet diplomats, Arkady Katkov, was found a few days later in a field in Beirut.

The KGB then apparently kidnaped and killed a relative of an unnamed leader of the Shias’ Hezbollah (Party of God) group, a radical, pro-Iranian group that has been suspected of various terrorist activities against Western targets in Lebanon.

Parts of the man’s body, the paper said, were then sent to the Hezbollah leader with a warning that he would lose other relatives in a similar fashion if the three remaining Soviet diplomats were not immediately released. They were quickly freed.”

They are always front and center at any liberal protest, be it Black Lives Matter or an anti-Trump clash. “By any means necessary,” … the tyranny of the leftwing distilled into four words. Trump supporters should be able to march and assemble to show their support for the President, just as women marched on Washington DC to demonstrate their dismay. Liberals who are interfering with Trump supporters demonstrations are denying Trump supporters their Constitutional rights … to Assemble, for one. How remarkably ironic that a group who claims to be so “inclusive,” “diverse,”open-minded,” is so threatened by ideas that they become violent and harass to stifle the opposition. “Free speach,” but only if you agree with them.

Trump is effectively dividing our country. I would hope that was not his aim when he decided to run for office but that is the unfortunate result.

A true test of leadership is to rally all Americans to lessen the political, economic, educational, and financial divide that plagues many parts of the USA.

Sealing off the White House from public access to visiting records is not a good way to start.
Refusing to reveal tax information is not a good way to start.
Accusing Obama of wiretapping is not a good way to start.
Denigrating climate science as a “Chinese plot” is not a good way to start.

And this is EXACTLY why NOTHING is being accomplished!

Probably 95%+ of the people posting on this politics blog are interested ONLY in taking potshots at the “other side.” NOBODY is willing to have a sane and rational discussion, and it’s degenerated into personal insults from BOTH sides. BOTH sides continue to throw around quotes supporting their opinions, as if those quotes contain any factual information.

Let me ask you – how in hell do you think ANYTHING will be accomplished if all you’re doing is sniping at each other from behind a keyboard? Does that make you feel particularly brave? Do you think that whatever you post makes you appear smart to others? You can blame anyone you want – but the point is you’re not willing to learn. You take your party’s tag lines and throw them out there as if they’re facts. You don’t do your own research. That makes YOU appear the fool, as it looks like NONE of you have mopved past the “nyah, nyah” phase of your poor wretched lives.

Unfortunately, this attitude (from BOTH sides) is doing NOTHING to solve the problem. Say what you want, but remember – until you DO anything to solve the problem, you’re not DOING one damn thing. And I don’t mean “writing your legislators” or some such nebulous action…. I mean DOING something – getting out and getting involved – face to face. And don’t tell me you don’t have enough time. With the number of posts I’ve seen on this blog, there are quite a few people who have LOTS of free time.

Mr. Mayor, I salute you in your willingness to provide a system that allows people to express their opinions – but they’ve obviously all forgotten the third sentence at the politics blog header – which states “…be kind to each other.” They’ve all forgotten how to be civil, and simply take the easy way out.

I fear for this country (and state). We’re doomed as a society, unless you get off your collective asses and DO something.

Have a nice day.

One positive use of this site is that it provides a few lunatic liberals a venue to vent their insanity here rather than commit actual violence against innocent people who may have opinions that do not comply with the liberal agenda.

Just have a look around at all the violent attacks by so called peace loving liberals on innocent conservatives who try to have peaceful rallies, . This weekend’s atrocities at U.C. Berkeley are a perfect example of the evil and violent lunatic liberals.

Your point is well taken but it’s the lunatic liberals who need to be controlled. Conservatives, by nature, are not violent they are simply conservative. They believe change should be done by vote, not by the extreme violence we have seen in the streets and college campuses.

Pegasus thinks it’s the liberals fault that out-of-state right-wing extremest planned the violence in Berkely during the well known tax march.

Stewart Rhodes, founder of the citizen militia group known as the Oath Keepers, said he came from Montana with about 50 others to protect Trump supporters. They were joined by bikers and others who vowed to fight members of an anti-fascist group if they crossed police barricades. “I don’t mind hitting” the counter-demonstrators, Rhodes said. “In fact, I would kind of enjoy it.”

Ever since his plan to finance a tax cut for the rich by throwing millions off Medicaid died without a vote, Trump has repeatedly assured the American people that their health-care system will collapse under his watch. It hasn’t always been clear whether this sentiment was intended as a prediction of an event Trump (wrongly) believed to be inevitable — or as a promise to bring Obamacare down by any means necessary.

But in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal, the president essentially confesses to the latter intention — and he has already settled on a means of sabotage.

81 Susan Gorman April 17, 2017 at 10:43 AM

I will grant that the violence is being pushed primarily by the left; at least I haven’t personally seen the same level of physical anger (riots, looting, shouting down, etc…) from the conservatives.

I think Berkeley is in its own universe. The police are expected to protect life and property – yet they’ve been restrained by the political entities who have hired them, presumably allowing “free speech.” Yes, we’ve seen more violent demonstrations being conducted by leftists (especially in large cities) coompared to those of a conservative bent.

That being said, though, I do try to avoid generalizations – not fully successful, and nopbody can claim they’re completely unbiased. It’s no different than “teenage drivers are bad drivers.” The outliers get the media attention – and 1% of bad news will override the 99% of good news, simply because bad news sells. And I think the media thrives on sensationalism, and they feed the populace that sensationalism. The people eat that up and demand more of it. What other “civilized” country eats up the garbage you see on TV?

Enough for now.

Besides expressing your utter dissatisfaction with BOTH sides, do you have suggestions as to what we all should do instead? You say you think writing our legislators “or some such nebulous action” is not doing anything. How do you suggest our legislators hear what we want them to do, or to not do? Should they just guess? It’s actually a VERY effective way to let them know what our concerns are and we want. They can sometimes also be reached by telephone but writing, emailing, etc. is NOT “some nebulous action”. That is DOING something! Because it’s your opinion is that it isn’t does not make it true. Our legislators absolutely take into account what they hear from us. They want and need to know what side their bread is buttered on.

Some of us post MANY verifiable facts from reputable sources, and we also post links to those sources. We may not get it right 100% all the time, and when we miss we are called on the carpet, but we do try. If anyone cares to investigate what we post they are certainly free to do so, and they may learn something they didn’t know. That is doing something!

President Donald Trump recounted an absolutely astounding detail about one of his conversations with Chinese President Xi Jinping in comments published by the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday afternoon. Apparently, Trump came into his first meeting with the Chinese leader, in early April, convinced that China could simply eliminate the threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear program. Xi then patiently explained Chinese-Korean history to Trump — who then promptly changed his mind.“After listening for 10 minutes, I realized it’s not so easy,” the president told the Journal. “I felt pretty strongly that they had a tremendous power [over] North Korea. … But it’s not what you would think.”

Four quick observations about this:
1) Trump thought China could fix North Korea until the Chinese president politely informed him that North Korea is in fact complicated.
2) Trump seems to have required the leader of China to explain basic facts to him that he could have Googled, or at least asked one of the many US government North Korea experts about.
3) Trump came to a profound realization about one of the most dangerous conflicts on earth after a 10-minute conversation.
4) Trump is getting his information about East Asian affairs from the leader of America’s largest rival in the region.

DT’s tax reform agenda is in trouble. That’s not news, but one proposal that his team has floated as a way, ostensibly, to cut taxes on the middle class is. According to the Associated Press, they’re toying with the idea of eliminating the payroll tax, which funds Social Security and part of Medicare, or cutting it drastically.

This is an absolutely terrible idea, partially because it smells like a back-door way of cutting Social Security benefits. It needs to be nipped in the bud.

“This proposal is a Trojan horse,” the veteran Social Security advocate Nancy J. Altman told me. “It appears to be a gift in the form of middle-class tax relief, but would, if enacted, lead to the destruction of working Americans’ fundamental economic security.”

To understand why, one needs to examine the history and mechanics of Social Security, something the Trump team hasn’t tried or doesn’t care to do. But we can. http://lat.ms/2o3rQMF

And don’t try to equate “million-dollar missles” with a heart operation. A missle cost can range between ~$200K and ~$1.5 million – so that would get you anywhere between 1/2 to 4 open heart operations.

..it is our conclusion that the Comey letter, 11 days before the election, was the precipitating event behind Clinton’s loss, despite the letter being effectively retracted less than a week later. In such a close election, there may have been dozens of factors whose absence would have reversed the outcome, such as the influence campaign of the Russian government as detailed by US intelligence services. But the sudden change in the political conversation after the Comey letter suggest it was the single, most indispensable factor in the surprise election result.

This conclusion helps us to understand how it is possible that the polls were generally correct about a Clinton lead through most of the campaign, but nevertheless Trump still won because of a late October surprise. In other words, pollsters and the media were likely correct that Clinton was “winning” during most of the campaign. http://huff.to/2pyAHHp

A couple of actions which help both illegal immigration, sanctuary problem and begin making Congress again responsive to Americans rather than catering to special interests who provide them campaign contributions.

First change how Census data is used to increase seats in US House of Representatives and State Legislatures by counting ONLY those persons born here or those who have become citizens.
Second setting term limits for US Senate at two six year terms and three two year terms in US House of Representatives.

Silva, Clinton’s loss in my view was a result of 8 years of Obama and a candidate many viewed as both arrogant and somehow believing she was above the law. Her defeat is continuation of an anti Democrat trend that has really picked up speed since 2009.

Democrats have lost a total of 1,042 seats at state and federal levels. The Presidency, seats in both houses of congress, seats in state legislators and governorships since 2009.

Probably never will understand inability of an overwhelming number of Democrat politicians at federal level who steadfastly refuse to acknowledge their behaviors as cause for negative outcomes who then blame others.

My opinion, Respect is not deserved for those who lie to me or fail to accept responsibility for results caused by their actions.

Now it is Trump enjoying his taxpayer-funded golf outings after announcing military actions all over the world, including Syria. Now it’s Trump charging the taxpayers not $920,000 per golf outing in Florida, but reportedly much more. Suddenly, the costs of golfing don’t seem to offend Trump or Newt or Hannity anymore. All,

Trump won according to the rules. That’s hy the electoral college exists,,,. So California and NY don’t decide the presidency.

For those whiners who are still claiming Hillary “won”, get over it. Yeah, Hillary won the popular vote….,so effing what?

That’s not how it works.

Get over it,losers! Or leave and go someplace you’ll be happier.

128 Anon April 18, 2017 at 8:45 PM

Overall Trump won approximately 2,600 counties to Clinton’s 500, or about 84% of the geographic United States. However, Clinton won 88 of of the 100 largest counties (including Washington D.C.). Without these 100 largest counties she would have lost by 11.5 million votes.

So Hillary won the popular vote, but she sure didn’t win the country’s vote. If so, she would have won more than a handful of populous counties.

So trump won. Deal with it.

That which we dislike the most in others, is that which we can not accept in ourselves. In other words, your constant accusations that President Trump is lying betrays your own inability to be truthful. Think about it. I’m not going to try to explain the Electoral College to you except to say as I did above, the country elected Donald Trump as President of the United States. If the country had wanted Hillary, Hillary would be President. She isn’t.

132 Anonymous April 19, 2017 at 6:49 AM

aspirin – Let me put it to you as simply as I can.

The country wanted Trump – that’s why he won. He won according to the RULES. The country DIDN’T want Hillary – that’s why she LOST. The president is NOT elected by the popular vote. Ever hear of the Electoral College?

You don’t get to change the rules just because you didn’t like the outcome.

I think #138 put it quite well.

Now deal with it. Go back to your corner.

133 Aspirin April 19, 2017 at 7:57 AM

Fox News popularity is rooted in the underbelly of American culture, attracting the uneducated, the undereducated, and those seeking opinion over truth.

This suits Trump perfectly. His campaign was based on lies, innuendo, racism, and an appeal to an angry mob.

Some consolation can be had by realizing that he lost the popular vote by almost 3,000,000 votes.

Even after winning the presidency he could not rise above his addiction to lying by claiming that “3,000,000 illegal aliens” were the voters.

134 Aspirin April 19, 2017 at 8:01 AM

It’s added that the trademarks have considerable value by giving the Trump Organization the sole right to profit from the Trump brand in China.

The complaint adds, “When asked why Defendant changed his position on the One China policy, and whether he had gotten something in exchange from China, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer answered: ‘The President always gets something,’ but did not specify what concession was obtained from China.” http://bit.ly/2pyquul

It was a (red) star-studded affair, the December 2015 dinner celebrating the 10th birthday of Russian TV network RT. At a luxe Moscow hotel, President Vladimir Putin and a host of Russian luminaries toasted a state-backed news channel that U.S. intelligence calls a Kremlin mouthpiece. And next to Putin at the head table, in the seat of honor, was an American. Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who would later become Donald Trump’s national security adviser, was already advising Trump’s presidential campaign when he was paid $45,000 to speak at the gala. “It is not coincidence that Flynn was placed next to President Putin,” said Michael McFaul, U.S. ambassador in Moscow from 2012 to 2014 and now an NBC News analyst. “Flynn was considered a close Trump adviser. Why else would they want him there?” Flynn’s Moscow jaunt, like his oddly timed phone chats with the Russian ambassador, has been well reported. But who else came to dinner on Dec. 10, 2015? When North Korea launched its Kwangmyongsong-4 satellite into space in February last year, officials heralded the event as a birthday gift for dead leader Kim Jong Il. But the day also brought an unexpected prize for the country’s adversaries: priceless intelligence in the form of rocket parts that fell into the Yellow Sea. Entire sections of booster rocket were snagged by South Korea’s navy and then scrutinized by international weapons experts for clues about the state of North Korea’s missile program. Along with motor parts and wiring, investigators discerned a pattern. Many key components were foreign-made, acquired from businesses based in CHINA. The trove “demonstrates the continuing critical importance of high-end, foreign-sourced components” in building the missiles North Korea uses to threaten its neighbors, a U.N. expert team concluded in a report released last month. When U.N. officials contacted the implicated Chinese firms to ask about the parts, the report said, they received only silence. http://wapo.st/2oVXZJd

Back in January Jeremy Scahill, the journalist who literally wrote the book on Blackwater, the notorious mercenary outfit, reported for the Intercept that Erik Prince, the company’s founder, was with Donald Trump and his family at Trump Tower on election night in November. That suggested a degree of intimacy between them that had not been previously revealed. Scahill went on to report that Prince had been advising the Trump team on defense and intelligence matters and had provided input about possible choices to head the Pentagon and the State Department. To anyone familiar with Prince and his history, this was an ominous sign. Blackwater personnel had been so tarnished by criminal activity during the Iraq War, including convictions for the murders of Iraqi civilians, including children, that Prince had to rename the company more than once and his personal reputation was shredded. Prince and his family have had a long association with Vice President Mike Pence, however, through mutual religious and political affiliations based on a militant theocratic worldview. Prince and his sister Betsy DeVos, now the secretary of education, were big donors to Trump’s campaign. Considering that Trump’s knowledge of world affairs can barely fill a shot glass, seeing Prince among his inner circle of advisers is unnerving to say the least…. http://bit.ly/2oUEhO4

The Republicans’ Porn Problem

Studies find a higher rate of porn use specifically amongst the conservative and religious — those less likely to support comprehensive sex education, birth control, and reproductive justice. Research shows that high levels of religiosity and conservatism are correlated with significant rates of porn use in Utah and other states across the nation, presenting a curious rhetoric and reality gap. The Public Religion Research Institute finds that 66 percent of Americans think watching pornography is immoral, but moral objection to porn does not stop people from watching. To that end, a 2013 Time magazine headline humorlessly stated that “12 Percent of Americans Admit to Watching Porn Online, the Other 88 Percent Must Not Have Internet.” As Time further explains, “bashful survey respondents” probably diminished the total number of people self-reporting their online porn habits. In the case of the Republican platform, this bashfulness — or what some might call shame — has emerged to create a platform based on moral panic rather than sound evidence…. continued; http://bit.ly/2abFjzH

Exxon Mobil Corp. has applied to the Treasury Department for a waiver from U.S. sanctions on Russia in a bid to resume its joint venture with state oil giant PAO Rosneft, according to people familiar with the matter. Exxon has been seeking U.S. permission to drill with Rosneft in several areas banned by sanctions and applied in recent months for a waiver to proceed in the Black Sea, according to these people. The Black Sea request is likely to be closely scrutinized by members of Congress who are seeking to intensify sanctions on Russia in response to what the U.S. said was its use of cyberattacks to interfere with elections last year. Congress has also launched an investigation into whether there were ties between aides to Donald Trump and Russia’s government during the presidential campaign and the political transition.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is Exxon’s former chief executive officer and forged a close working relationship with Rosneft and Russian President Vladimir Putin. U.S. May Not Be Able to Shoot Down North Korean Missiles, Say Experts
op generals have been insisting for years that if North Korea launched a missile at the United States, the U.S military would be able to shoot it down.

Chris Johnson disagrees with your position. He’s a spokesman for the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency.
He says the Pentagon “is confident in our ability to defend the homeland against ballistic missile threats.” While the program had reliability challenges early in its development, “we have made significant improvements over the last several years to ensure the system is able to operate as designed.”

There are 36 interceptors in operation, according to the Missile Defense Agency — four at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and 32 at Ft. Greely, Alaska. Eight more are due online by year’s end. In contrast to the Iron Dome system in Israel, which is designed to counter shorter range missiles and artillery, the GMD is made to hit missiles above the earth’s atmosphere — a more difficult proposition. It is among the heirs to the Strategic Defense Initiative, the so-called Star Wars program launched under Ronald Reagan.

It’s a harrowing prospect—but late night was determined to find the comedic silver lining. During the interview, Trump refused to name the North Korean dictator by name, instead repeatedly using the moniker “this gentleman”: “I hope things work out well,” Trump said on Tuesday’s episode of Fox & Friends. “I hope there’s going to be peace, but they’ve been talking with this gentleman for a long time. You read Clinton’s book and he said, ‘Oh, we made such a great peace deal,’ and it was a joke. You look at different things over the years with President Obama. Everybody has been outplayed. They’ve all been outplayed by this gentleman.” “Does he really not know that when Bill Clinton was president, Kim Jong Un was 16 years old?” Jimmy Kimmel wondered Tuesday night. http://bit.ly/2o9G9Ub

Aspirin,
Chris Johnson is just a spokesman for the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency, that’s all. You know, the people on the inside who really know what’s real and what’s fake news.
Wright is a speculating outsider. But don’t start now believing truth it would ruin your perfect record.

PEGASUS, Spokesman, or PR man. He might know what is “on the inside” but I’ll bet he is told only that which the Pentagon wants to be made public.

This is SOP for our government these days.

Diplomacy. It’s not so easy: South Korea’s government wants to know whether Chinese President Xi Jinping gave alternative facts on the nation’s history to Donald Trump. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal last week, Trump said Xi told him during a recent summit that “Korea actually used to be a part of China.” The comments sparked outrage in Seoul and became an issue in South Korea’s presidential race, prompting the foreign ministry to seek to verify what Xi actually said. “It’s a clear fact acknowledged by the international community that, for thousands of years in history, Korea has never been part of China,” foreign ministry spokesman Cho June-hyuck said at a briefing in Seoul on Thursday. Candidates for South Korea’s May 9 presidential election weighed in on the issue, which comes as the nation’s relations with China are already strained over moves to deploy a U.S. missile defense system on its soil. “This is clearly a distortion of history and an invasion of the Republic of Korea’s sovereignty,” conservative Liberty Korea Party candidate Hong Joon-pyo said. A representative for Democratic Party of Korea candidate Moon Jae-in demanded to find out the full context of Xi’s comment. Ahn Cheol-soo’s People’s Party said that, if true, it would be regrettable for China to distort history in an international diplomacy setting. Chinese dynasties invaded the Korean Peninsula repeatedly over the centuries and demanded tributes, but South Koreans reject the idea that their ancestors were ever ruled by their neighbor. Nothing is more frightening than a bunch of Republicans in the same room discussing healthcare overhaul.

Dysfunctional government running amok.

Watch for the upcoming, and latest, GOP attack on American healthcare.

It will be a loser.

192 Silva April 21, 2017 at 11:42 AM

“Nobody knew that health care could be so complicated” Here comes Trumpcare 2.0; Capitol Hill sources said an amendment to the GOP-sponsored American Health Care Act would be circulated to the Republican caucus in a matter of hours – a series of Band-aid patches designed to make the bill palatable to both the centrist and conservative wings of the GOP. A White House aide first told The Washington Post that an ‘all hands’ conference call would be convened on Saturday with a ‘target date for [a] vote Wednesday.’ An hour later, however, Republican congressional aides were expressing skepticism that the proposed amendments could win enough GOP support to pass the House. The Trump administration and House Speaker Paul Ryan presided over an historic flame-out four weeks ago when a conservative faction known as the House Freedom Caucus torpedoed their Obamacare replacement bill over concerns that it didn’t go far enough.

On Thursday, Trump scoffed at the idea that he had ever thrown in the towel. http://dailym.ai/2pZIuxe

It was a headline that seemed pulled from another century — but earlier this month, a Russian newspaper, Novaya Gazeta, reported that Chechen police have detained, beaten and tortured at least 100 gay men. The Russian LGBT Network claimed that as many as 20 men may have been killed in the attacks in Chechnya, a republic within Russia. More disturbingly, the paper reported that Chechen authorities were engaged in purging gay men by kidnapping and imprisoning them secretly in “detention style camps.” Over the last few weeks, HRC (Human Rights Campaign) has been vigilant in drawing the attention of world leaders to the developments in Chechnya. In advance of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s recent trip to Russia, HRC President Chad Griffin urged him “to make clear to your Russian counterparts that such lawless detentions, arrests, torture and murders are unacceptable and will not be tolerated.” That letter was also delivered to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and members of the White House National Security Council.

Yep. And during the Olympics, the Mayor of Los Angeles cleared homeless from the streets. Must be going deaf because I didn’t hear HRC objecting to that. And at a rally in Berkeley, conservatives were brutally attacked by liberals and anarchists. Didn:t hear the HRC, “Human Rights Commission,” by the way, objecting to that. Seems only certain people’s human rights are protected and that’s discriminatory. Suppose for a moment that during the next Gay Pride Parade the parading were brutally attacked by those who don’t like their demonstration, and nothing was done … or as little as was done in Berkeley to protect conservatives human rights. They are “human rights” and we all share them equally as humans. Didn’t hear you objecting to the Berkeley travesty.

Mental health experts claimed the President was “paranoid and delusional”, and said it was their “ethical responsibility” to warn the American public about the “dangers” Mr Trump’s psychological state poses to the country.
Speaking at the conference at Yale’s School of Medicine on Thursday, one of the mental health professionals, Dr John Gartner, a practising psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, said: “We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump’s dangerous mental illness. I’ve worked with some of the most dangerous people our society produces, directing mental health programmes in prisons,” he said. “I’ve worked with murderers and rapists. I can recognise dangerousness from a mile away. You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.” http://ind.pn/2pKXHWk

The problem here is a President Mike Pence. Equally as insane, but smarter.

198 Silva April 21, 2017 at 3:21 PM

anon, you’re correct, they do discriminate. They aren’t out to save everyone; “The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is the largest LGBT civil rights advocacy group and political lobbying organization in the United States. The organization focuses on protecting and expanding rights for LGBT individuals, most notably advocating for marriage equality, anti-discrimination and hate crimes legislation, and HIV/AIDS advocacy. The organization has a number of legislative initiatives as well as supporting resources for LGBT individuals.”

I just chose that particular article to quote out of at least a dozen similar ones I saw.

“Cleaning up the mess left to the current Commander will not be easy…”

The deal is this!

So many many witnessed miss steps have been taken that only a “wizard’ with a wand could fix it…

The left no no no doesn’t want it fixed they want it ‘Madonna’ like stone-aged…

We’d all better fuss up soon that new and dynamic adults have arrived to take us to a better promise than disruption destruction that seems to be the wish of so so so many who post here and are in the total rest of the sorry loser climate driving the disruption that only Egyptian leaders who needed Biblical reasons to let their people go can understand…

The ‘Men-gal’ intelligence has arrived once again…

Take somebody else out and develop a better person mentality has captivated the the minds of too too too many without even rational comprehension…

I am more than sorry to hear of unborn murder and proposed solutions to the problems facing society that the way to go is to ignore the death squad of the left and to let “live and live” people make the new and next decisions facing the World…

If you suggest killing innocents and letting their killers live I pose that you are the biggest part of the loser problem…

Love,
“Meme”.
