ACCIDENTS:

  • Clayton Rd./Tara Dr.  (02/26/16 – 08:33 hrs.)

ARRESTS:

  • Clayton Rd.  Warrant.  A 45 year old Antioch male was arrested after being contacted by officers.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.  (03/01/16 – 10:46 hrs.)
  • Washington Blvd/Pennsylvania Blvd.  DUI.  A 20 year old Hidden Valley Lake male was arrested after being stopped for Vehicle Code violations.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.

BURGLARIES/THEFTS:

5437 Clayton Rd.  Vehicle Burglary.  (03/01/16 – 15:20 hrs.)

VANDALISMS:

  • None.

Yes, thanks to the Clayton police for keeping a sharp eye on things and being ever vigilant. In all honestly though, it’s easier to spot strange / suspicious people when they’re in the town of Clayton, as they truly stand out. In comparison, if you go just two miles down the road into Concord it seems half the people look suspicious or are sketchy looking.
Clayton is a wonderful and fortunate place!

To post #3, I trust that you are inferring to me and my post. We lived in Clayton 30 years before moving to Danville 10 years ago… but our hearts are still in Clayton. We know it very well. It is a beautiful town both naturally and aesthetically and, overwhelmingly, has most wonderful, friendly people.
Your play on the word Clayton (‘Clanton’).. seems to indicate you feel differently, so frankly, why don’t you just move
