The last number in some of the addresses has been deleted to respect the privacy of the victim(s).

According to the Concord Police, the report shown above only includes approved reports. Some burglary reports might not be written or completely approved, which is why they are not included in this post.

How many burglaries are solved? 1 in 10, 1 in 20 ?

I’m glad you put in the red paragraph. I always look at these posts when the come out. There were a couple instances in the past where there were a rash of auto burglaries and a couple house burglary in my neighborhood and they never made it onto these blotters…

If I was these patrol officers sergeants and definitely their lieutenants, heads would roll if the reports weren’t finalized and approved within 3 days.

It’s not as if these guys have 12 felony reports to write and 3 in custodies a day… So I don’t really understand what takes longer than the second shift to get it written and the third to correct any mistakes found by supervisors…

But Compstat should still recognize that the events occurred…

Anon, Good question… I would say 0. It is not high priority. Sometimes they stumble across stolen items.
