ALERT: Community Warning System Sirens Will Go Off at 11am in Pleasant Hill & Martinez

If you hear sirens or get a phone call today at 11am, don’t worry, it’s just a test of the community warning system.

Sirens will go off in Pleasant Hill (at DVC) and in Martinez (at the Shell Refinery). The test is conducted at 11am on the first Wednesday of the month.

I wondered why they went off over in Pittsburg. Must have been part of the test.

Used to go off in Antioch too but I have not heard them in a long time.
