UPDATE: ConFire: Plane Down Near Willow Pass Rd. in Concord

ConFire is reporting a plane is down near Willow Pass Rd. in Concord.

Fortunately, nobody was injured.

No other details are currently available.

UPDATE, 6:25pm: ConFire is saying a skilled pilot made an emergency landing on the Naval Weapons Station property.

Heard via the scanner the pilot landed safely on Weapons Station property. Kudos to the pilot! Could have ended in a disaster.

I can see the helicopters circling. Was worried it was another drunk driver accident.

Drove by as CoCo Fire arrived. People standing around what appeared to be a perfectly good airplane scratching their heads! The pilot deserves a ton of credit for a job well done.
