A man suspected in connection with multiple home burglaries in Morgan Hill and San Jose was arrested in Walnut Creek on Tuesday night.

Santa Clara County sheriff’s personnel arrested David Pietrzak, 50, of San Jose at the Stadium Pub at 1420 Lincoln Avenue, according to Walnut Creek police Lt. Steve Gorski.

Authorities had been on the lookout for Pietrzak after he allegedly burglarized a home in Morgan Hill on July 29, and was suspected of involvement in several other burglaries throughout Santa Clara County, according to Morgan Hill police.

Walnut Creek police were notified on Tuesday that Santa Clara County law enforcement officers had traced Pietrzak to Walnut Creek and planned to arrest him there, Gorski said.

He was taken to Santa Clara County Jail.

Great news! Wonder if he’s the same piece of pond scum that stole the package from the door step.

I have spoken to this guy at Dan’s bar and I gotta say he was nice and respectful and had I not been a married lady….I might have given this guy consideration. Careful single ladies out there…it’s so hard to know who the decent ones are out there.

Typical bay area scum looser.

Concord Guy August 7, 2014 at 1:53 PM

He’s a clean-cut, regular looking guy. I guess one can never judge a book by its cover.

I also find interesting that they were able to pinpoint his location. Once Santa Clara County law enforcement IDd, him, it is likely that they were able to track him down via signals from his mobile phone.

Cowellian August 7, 2014 at 2:10 PM

Looser than what?

Armydadca August 7, 2014 at 2:13 PM

He looks like the same guy in the previous story about a home burglary.

Mayor, is there any chance you could put the 2 pictures together?

PO'd August 7, 2014 at 2:20 PM

Sorry to say-he’ll be out sooner than later. AB109 y’know.

I’ll give him this: At age 50, he’s definitely aged much more gracefully than most criminals on here!

Ctown August 7, 2014 at 3:36 PM

What a POS! So happy to have another dbag off the streets! Hopefully he will have plenty of time in jail to hone his skills in hide the pickle.

Probably at the bar to pick up women and rob them later

p.s Criminals are sly and sometimes too nice

green August 7, 2014 at 5:06 PM

#12 they did not use his cell phone pings to trace him. LE does that only for the most serious of felonies. And it doesn’t give you an exact location; only within 500 feet at best.

Marianne August 7, 2014 at 5:14 PM

he he he, I meant “loser”. He’s probably loose by now.

Walnut Creek Resident August 7, 2014 at 5:31 PM

He is gross. I hope he gets locked up for quite a while but she probably won’t! There are so many other problems in the world that this is just nothing but a spit in the eye!

Stoner eyes.

Sunnymoon August 7, 2014 at 8:48 PM

At least he was nice and toasty at the time of his arrest.

anon August 8, 2014 at 12:18 AM

sorry, too late. i think we should keep ‘looser’ from now on.

‘Daves’ are often very iffy. I find quite a few of them are not right. Also look out for Jasons, James’, Johns, Joes, Gary’s and Brians. Guys with these names are obviously ok or not, except Johns, they take awhile to tell. On the other hand Mikes and Marks, Erics, Phils, and Peters are usually pretty good.

Cowellian August 8, 2014 at 7:16 AM

Just watch out for the guys who have Wayne as their middle name.

Dr. Jellyfinger® August 8, 2014 at 9:22 AM

@ anon #30— “and Peters are usually pretty good”

You are a chick, right?
