This is my third time participating in this race and it has only gotten better over the years. The weather was perfect and the spirit of the police and all of the race volunteers was friendly, and the participants was fun. I had to walk this year, but I hope that next year I will be able to run again! 2015, I will be ready!!!

Please oh please can Concord celebrate the 4th each year just like they did today?! From the morning run to the fireworks at Mount. Wonderful day! Really made me happy to be in Concord.

These are the types of pictures Radar used to take and share with Claycord. Thinking of him and missing his great photos. Here’s to Radar – miss you!!!

Great event! Great run. I too had to walk this year because of injury, but glad I did because it allowed me to soak up the course and wonderful volunteers who work hard making this race fun. Again thank you for having Brazen assist in putting on the race. Maybe next year for a couple of more bucks give finisher medals to everyone like all of Brazen’s other races. A medal with the stars and stripes logo would be awesome! I also think Concord should hold more races like this….maybe an annual half marathon like what Walnut Creek does??? I think today’s race shows that a turnout would be substantial. Great work today Concord!!!!
