Count how many times you hear those two words in the next month or so.

Did the IRS “Fix” the 2012 Presidential Election?

The House Ways and Means Committee began looking into wrongdoing after it was discovered that the IRS targeted conservative groups prior to the 2012 elections.

Details are slowly starting to emerge. For example, the IRS employee who illegally divulged information about contributors to the National Organization for Marriage was an employee in the IRS’ Exempt Organizations Division formerly headed by Lois “Fifth Amendment” Lerner. His name is being withheld from the public for now.

The intimidation tactics used by the IRS to undermine Republicans and conservatives during the 2012 elections is starting to emerge. These tactics started after Democrat operatives were caught by surprise during the 2010 elections.

That the IRS is continuing to stonewall the public is astounding. The notion that the IRS emails were lost is not credible. Emails have a source and recipients. They move through servers.

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn’t like the Obama’s. Specifically I was asked: “I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama’s? It seems personal, not policy related. You even dissed (disrespect) their Christmas family picture.”
The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation. I’ve made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don’t like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.
I don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America . They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same, Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.
I don’t like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress.
I expect, no I demand respect, for the Office of President, and a love of our country and her citizens, from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people. The Reagan’s made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish.
His arrogance by appointing 32 leftist czars and constantly bypassing congress is impeachable. Eric Holder is probably the MOST incompetent and arrogant DOJ head to ever hold the job. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?
Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies,dishonesty, deceit, mendacity,subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry, and they display an animus for civility.
I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to now being able to be proud of America . I view that statement and that Mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world. Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure
her right to do that.
I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent over a million dollars to keep his records and his past sealed.
And what the two of them have shared has been proven to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nausea. He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address.
He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today. He opposed rulings that protected women and children that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel .
His wife treats being the First Lady as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.
I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.
I Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin; it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their constantly playing the race card.
I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them, as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are.
There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people, as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.
As I wrote in a syndicated column titled, “Nero In The White House” – “Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader.
He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequaled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood.
Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation, and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America ‘s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.

While I disagree with or am unsure of a few of your details, overall I heartily agree. I often feel like Alice in Wonderland, down the rabbit hole, the world has become so surreal.

BTW to readers in general: the opposite of right-wing is left-wing, not “liberal.” The opposite of “liberal” is “conservative.”

“I am prepared to argue same because, if we have a white Christian conservative as president, we can criticize his (or her) policies without concern of being called racists. It would be expected of that person to adhere to the highest standards of integrity, truthfulness, transparency and protocol. A white Christian conservative’s wife would be expected to exhibit social grace and decorum consistent with the office her husband held and not comport herself as a demimonde or slattern in expensive designer clothes.

Sorry but I’m more of a Carnival or Mardi Gras kind of guy…and parade floats sadden me…too many flowers being destroyed needlessly for wild and erotic display…I prefer dark strip pole bars.

Wanted to bring one into the Bar and BBQ but the Mayor said our insurance wouldn’t cover any injuries to the strippers.

I told him there wouldn’t be any strippers…it was just for the idea of strippers…and the answer was still NO!…Hell NO!.

It’s supposed to be a family bar. Wives do not like strippers.

My goodness what short, shortsighted and one-sided memories we have. Our last president GW Bush and his liar VP Cheney drove this country into two totally mismanaged wars and a financial meltdown costing thousands of lives and countless treasure. Asking a following administration to fix this mess while being told by the GOP “I hope he fails” set the stage for a new president fighting racism and the outright hatred of too many Americans. Saying “never in my life have I seen such a dishonest leader” forgets Nixon, GW Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rice and the list goes on. Obama is not perfect but he his a very typical American politician, molded by the corrosive atmosphere in a dysfunctional Washington and a hopelessly politicized Supreme Court. Obama resorting to street-fighting tactics should not surprise anyone. I would do the same under similar circumstances.

This great nation has recovered against one of the greatest economic disappointments in its history. We have restored so much that we are now just about where we would be in a protracted normal variation between growth and reduction. Like breathing out and breathing in, capitalistic economies expand and contract and fulfill a long curve growth function.

This we have done.

Our real estate values in California are where they might be in 2010 without the bubble, and inflation is stable except for food prices, which may be a function of national drought experience both now and for last year.

Generally we are very well off against all other economies in the world.

We really don’t have anything to complain about in any way.

Yet we hammer at one another just like the members of the ultra-rich families that complain that this member or that is spending the inherited money on the wrong things and should be kicked out of the trust.

There are temporary changes of control about every eight years that simply changes the source of predictable complaints.

Why participate in the disputes? Because good new works are produced by one group, and works of war and plunder are produced by the other.

I form with the first…not so much a liberal, but a builder of civilization.

Thad Cochran, with the help of the likes of Karl Rove, Senator John McCain, Governor Haley Barbour (R-Miss.), Senator Mitch McConnell, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Nat’l Republican Senatorial Committee, won the Republican nomination by campaigning as a Democrat, and getting Democrats to vote in the other party’s primary.

This was cynical, short-sighted politics at its worst. Who do the leaders of the GOP think is going to support Thad Cochran in November? Democrats?

Thanks, K Street – your actions have placed a firmly red Senate seat in jeopardy by alienating every fiscal conservative in the state. Nice move.

I am a Republican. The next time I get a letter from the GOP asking for a donation, I plan to send back a photo of Thad Cochran with the words: “Corrupt Republicans are worse than corrupt Democrats. The Republicans are supposed to be the ones who take the moral high ground. Apparently no longer. Go to hell.”

I would love to see the Democrats do the same. Send back a photo of Lois Lerner with her nose up in the air with words like these: “I plead the 5th. Until you idiots get it straight I am voting Libertarian. Period. End of story”.

With control of the Senate at risk in November, leaders are going to remarkable lengths to protect endangered Democrats from casting tough votes and to deny Republicans legislative victories in the midst of the campaign. The phobia means even bipartisan legislation to boost energy efficiency, manufacturing, sportsmen’s rights and more could be scuttled.

The Senate’s masters of process are finding a variety of ways to shut down debate.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., now is requiring an elusive 60-vote supermajority to deal with amendments to spending bills, instead of the usual simple majority, a step that makes it much more difficult to put politically sensitive matters into contention. This was a flip from his approach to Obama administration nominees, when he decided most could be moved ahead with a straight majority instead of the 60 votes needed before.

Remember those Farrrr Lefties during Sequestration, blaming the GOP, calling them “obstructionists” and even traitors? Because of them, the Dems couldn’t pass any bills?

Now it is the Dems themselves, making it impossible to get even their own bills onto the floor for a vote. Why?

Because each/every one of those votes is going to be poision come November. The Dems don’t want to go on record by voting. Don’t expect anything to get doe until after November, folks.

If you need to say something between now and then, I suggest you start calling the Dems “obstructionists”.

Two Texas Republicans are proposing a $1 million reward to anyone who recover former IRS employee Lois Lerner’s lost emails.

Reps. Bill Flores and Louie Gohmert proposed the Identify and Recover Sent Emails Act, or the IRS Act. In addition to the big $1 million bounty, the bill would offer $500,000 to anyone with information that can be used to prosecute officials involved in destroying the emails.

All reward money would be taken from the budget of the IRS. In addition, the bill would cut all IRS salaries by 20 percent until the Lerner emails are found.

Obama is an inexperienced, puerile, mendacious, narcissistic child devoid of good character. He lacks understanding pursuant to how business works and why America has a representative form of government. Congress must take immediate steps to remove this person. What else will he decide he has the right to defy Congress on? He has openly instructed his Justice Department as to which laws he premeditatedly decided he would support. He has encouraged and supported racial prejudice and criminal actions in his Justice Department. He has eagerly become involved in matters in which municipal police departments were doing their job, yet he has glibly ignored unambiguous racially motivated actions in his own Justice Department.

Obama is being openly disingenuous and dishonest in his campaign ads. His behavior and attitude are that of one who views himself as being lord and master of all. It is up to Congress to honor the Constitution and remove this person from office. America cannot wait. The damage he is capable of doing every day we wait is too great to ignore. We must call and write our representatives and tell them enough is enough. We must tell them either they begin efforts to remove him or we will begin efforts to remove them.

Canada pulls the plug on the U.S. Keystone Pipeline – will send oil to Asia

Approves Asia Supply Route, Ignores US Route

H/T Eric Worrall and Breitbart – Obama’s inability to make a decision on Keystone has finally yielded a result – Canada has made the decision for him.

Breitbart reports Canada has just approved the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project – a major pipeline to ship Canadian oil to Asia.

The Canadian oil will still be burnt – in Asia, instead of America.

All the jobs and energy security which Canadian oil could have delivered to America, will instead be delivered to Asia.

Rather than purchasing crude from a friendly and allied neighbor, the United States will most likely need to continue its reliance upon hostile sources like Venezuela. Energy analysts had hoped that construction of Keystone could have replaced almost half of the current U.S. daily crude purchases from that volatile, anti-American dictatorship, depriving Venezuela of the resources it relies upon to stay in power and fund its Cuban allies.

You can’t say Canada didn’t give America a chance – they waited years for the American administration to come to their senses. But in the end, they couldn’t wait any longer, and have put the interests of Canadians first.

Here are some findings from a survey that captures experiences with coverage under the Affordable Care Act:

62% of medical practices surveyed reported moderate to extreme difficulty identifying patients with Obamacare “exchange” coverage. 60% reported that things like eligibility, cost-sharing and network coverage were somewhat or much more difficult to determine (compared to traditional commercial coverage).

“We are going to have to hire additional staff just to manage the insurance verification process.”

“Identifying plans has been an administrative nightmare.”

“We thought we would be able to identify ACA insurance exchange products by a patient’s insurance card, but quickly found out this just isn’t so.”

75% reported that patients were very likely to have high-deductible health plans. Patients have been very confused about benefits and their portion of the cost. Once they find out how high their deductible is, they cancel appointments and procedures. Practices that are not accepting Obamacare patients mostly reported that they are concerned about the payment risk (typically due to high-deductibles).

“The at-risk piece of eligibility is tremendously hard to determine and explain to patients.”

Primary care providers are now faced with the extra burden of trying to find care within very narrow networks.

Payer directories are woefully inaccurate and impossible to rely on. But then again, false claims start at the top: remember it was President Obama who said, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”.

Many patients are learning that they can’t go to the specialist or hospital of their choice. And, they are very upset.

Creating a high performance work environment is a complex problem. Score another one for the Supreme Christian Court of the United States where religious belief and dogma run over the Constitution. The Hobby Lobby case is yet another low point in this miserable Courts decisions. When will this stop if a company can refuse to provide benefits because of religious beliefs, while making a mockery of our nations promise not to promote religion. Hobby Lobby is a for-profit company which enjoys certain tax exemptions and government-provided benefits, like laws protecting it from unfair business practices by its competitors, for an example. We desperately need to throw off the yoke of superstition, religion, and ignorance but this court will not let that happen.

I’m not talking about when he’s 18 and three days and she’s 17 and 11 1/2 months. I mean when he’s 36 and she’s 13. PP staff, despite their status as mandatory reporters, show a remarkable lack of curiosity about who’s the daddy. Indeed, they counsel their customers not to reveal that bit of information. Our friends in the compassion industry will say that charge is overblown or fabricated. They’re also mandatory reporters and it looks bad for a caseworker when one of her clients turns up pregnant.

Abortion was available in 1961 – it was not legal, and that is what changed. Legal clinic and hospital services, instead of Doctor’s offices.

That is a primary myth of Socialism.

Let’s look at Chicago as our Petrie dish:

Until the mid sixties, a higher percentage of Blacks than Whites were married, employed, and raising a family. A lower percentage of Blacks than Whites were convicted of violent crimes.

After 40 years of Socialism, 70% of children in Chicago are born and raised by single mothers; the male head-of-household is gone, frequently imprisoned. The unemployment rate for Black males hasn’t been below 30% for 40 years. The only sources of income are government handout and crime.

Now we are reduced to platitudes like “”Training the children of such men is the primary mission of public education”.

What we need to do – rather than reactively trying to mop up the mess – is to eliminate the incentives for “such men”. Create incentives for them to be fathers and husbands, rather than just sperm donors.

Best way to do that is to unclog the drain, flush the socialist politicians from power, and not reward with entitlements those who refuse to play by society’s rules.

Margaret Higgins Sanger (September 14, 1879 – September 6, 1966) was an American sex educator, nurse, and birth control activist. Sanger coined the term birth control, opened the first birth control clinic in the United States, and established Planned Parenthood.

As part of her efforts to promote birth control, Sanger found common cause with proponents of eugenics, believing that they both sought to “assist the race toward the elimination of the unfit.”

Sanger was a proponent of negative eugenics, which aims to improve human hereditary traits through social intervention by reducing reproduction by those considered unfit.

ObamaCare coverage for millions in jeopardy as watchdog finds widespread data flaws

According to the report, the administration was unable to resolve 2.6 million so-called “inconsistencies” out of a total of 2.9 million such problems from October through December 2013.

“The federal marketplace was generally incapable of resolving most inconsistencies,” the report said, claiming the government could not resolve 89 percent of the problems.

And of the roughly 330,000 cases that could be straightened out, the administration had only actually resolved about 10,000 during the period of the inspector general’s audit. That worked out to less than 1 percent of the total.

The report said that most of the problems dealt with citizenship and income information supplied by consumers that conflicted with what the federal government had on record.

Mississippi College Republican Chairman Rejects GOP And Joins Democratic Party Over Tea Party Extremism

People continue to leave the Republican Party in droves, and the latest person to do so represents why the GOP is steaming full steam ahead toward extinction.During the heavily contested Mississippi Senate contest between Republican incumbent Thad Cochran and Tea Party candidate Chris McDaniel, a separate civil war between the two factions of the GOP began to catch fire. The Mississippi Federation of College Republicans have a rule that prohibits members from endorsing primary candidates in the name of the MFCR. But Kolby Busby ignored the rule and made two robocalls on behalf of McDaniels anyway. Individually, he wouldn’t have been in violation of the rule, but he affiliated himself with MFCR in the calls. Therefore, he clearly broke the laws of the organization by speaking for it in an official capacity against MFCR wishes. MFCR Chairman Evan Alvarez moved to impeach Busby and remove him from the organization. But, Tea Party supporters intervened by inviting themselves to the impeachment proceedings, where they screamed, yelled, and threw a temper tantrum. Alvarez cancelled the meeting and he has resigned his position as chairman in disgust.

The interesting part of this story is how Alvarez resigned and what he announced afterward.

In his letter of resignation obtained by The Clarion-Ledger, Alvarez blasted Republicans for becoming a party of extremism.

“When I ran for Chairman in the spring, I ran to be Chairman of the Mississippi Federation of College REPUBLICANS, not the Mississippi Federation of College “Tea Partiers”. Also, I believe that the Republican Party has allowed these groups of extremist to have too much of a voice and because of that, the platform of the Republican Party has shifted too far to the right in my opinion.”

Why does Alvarez think the GOP is now too extreme? He didn’t simply resign because some Tea Party loons rudely interrupted a meeting. He resigned because of what the Tea Party is doing to America, and he took them to task over it.

“The drastic cuts on needed federal funding that these groups of Republican extremists support would leave society weak and crippled,” Alvarez wrote. “Secondly, their far right stance on immigration is not only ignorant, but it is cruel. After all our country is a nation of immigrants and should welcome immigrants from every country.”

The GOP has taken up the anti-contraception banner. One of the right wing’s standard bearers, Sen Lee (R-Utah) declared that women use contraception primarily for recreation. That’s why the holier-than-thou Lee is thrilled with yesterday’s SCOTUS decision.

Let’s remind Senator Lee and the folks who agree with him of some realities.

1. 90% of women use contraceptives at some point in their reproductive lives to avoid pregnancy.

2. Taking oral contraceptives (OCs) can slash risk for both endometrial and ovarian cancer.

3. Doctors often prescribe oral contraceptives to reduce PMS and to provide relief from endometriosis.

4. Women who have had high risk pregnancies and/or miscarriages are often encouraged to avoid pregnancy until the underlying issues are treated.

5. Women who carry genetic anomalies use birth control.

6. For women with cancer, MS, Crohns, and other serious medical conditions, avoiding pregnancy is essential to their health.

7. Women who are raped are given emergency contraception to prevent implantation.

For the right wingers, women use birth control because they are “sluts,” as Rush Limbaugh claimed. Apparently, Senator Lee is right in there with Rush and company.

The five Republicans appointees to the Supreme Court extended their view that corporations are people in today’s the “Hobby Lobby” case, finding that family-owned companies have freedom of religion and so don’t have to comply with the Affordable Care Act’s requirement to include contraceptive services in employee health insurance. What about the rights of employees to receive these services? According to the Court’s majority, the federal government should just pay for these services directly. “The most straightforward way of doing this would be for the Government to assume the cost of providing the four contraceptives at issue to any women who are unable to obtain them under their health-insurance policies due to their employers’ religious objections.” In other words, the five Republican appointees to the Court suggest the government establish a single-payer plan for contraceptive services. Remarkable.

School drops Cougars as team name because it might offend women

the Charger was named the mascot — the first in Utah to use it.

The Chargers wasn’t the most popular team name with the kids. Instead, the top name was the Cougars, getting 23 percent of the votes. Other choices included the Chargers, Diamondbacks, Falcons, Raptors, Broncos, Bears and Cavaliers.

But the Cougar was rejected as the mascot because board members decided it might be seen as offensive to middle-aged women.

As pointed out on TV shows like Courteney Cox’s “Cougar Town” and Tina Fey’s “30 Rock” (one episode titled “Cougars” featured the 41-year-old Fey going on a date with a 20-year-old), the term has become popularly known to describe an older woman who dates younger men. Even online dating websites have popped up specifically for the “cougar” crowd, connecting interested males with females that are 15-30 years their senior.

“Sensitivity and political correctness regarding the names of athletic teams has officially reached a ridiculous peak,” USA Today wrote.

Dennis, yes it is unbelievable that a school board would reject the cougar as a school mascot because it didn’t want to offend middle-age women. It’s also not true.

The school board in questions posts extremely detailed meeting minutes. They’re practically verbatim transcriptions of the meetings. The school board was picking the school colors and mascot for a brand new high school. Not one person suggested that cougar be rejected because it’s offensive to middle-aged women. It was stated that the principal of the soon-to-be opened school wasn’t crazy about a cougar mascot because the students associate cougar with the pop culture definition. It was stated that having a cougar as a mascot had created problems for a high school drill team in a neighboring district. It was noted that the cougar is the BYU mascot and using the cougar as the high school mascot would put them in the middle of the BYU/Utah rivalry. But not one person said that having a cougar as a mascot would be offensive to middle-aged women.

It makes an entertaining blog entry, but it’s simply not true.

A government-contracted security force is threatening to arrest doctors and nurses if they disclose public health threats in a refugee camp for children at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Former camp workers are hiding their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution. “Security forces call themselves the Brown Shirts. Anyone caught with a cellphone is immediately fired.”

One worker said: “We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country. They have measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat.”

Fly the friendly skies? One nurse said, “They’re transporting kids with scabies and lice on domestic charter buses and airplanes. You could see bugs crawling through their hair. After we rinsed their hair, the sink would be loaded with black bugs.”

Superiors tried to cover up the illnesses. “When they found kids with scabies, the charge nurse was adamant, ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies.”

A former worker who kept a journal said, “When people read it they are going to be astonished. I don’t think they will believe what is going on in America.”

“It was not a great surprise”, she said, when she received a call from federal agents demanding that she return to the military base and hand over her journal.

She declined to do so.

A Health and Human Services official refused to allow a member of Congress to enter a facility in his district where some of the unaccompanied immigrant children are being housed.

Representative Jim Bridenstine (R., Okla.) was told he could schedule an appointment for July 21. ““What are they trying to hide?” Bridenstine said after the incident. ”Do they not want the children to speak with Members of Congress? As a Navy pilot, I have been involved in operations countering illicit human trafficking. I would like to know to whom these children are being released.”

There are 1,200 immigrant children at the base. Bridenstine’s office explained that HHS releases the children to a “sponsor” in the United States. The congressman said that a security guard at the Fort Sill, Okla., facility refused to let him enter the barracks without HHS approval even though he is a member of Congress.

“There is no excuse for denying a Federal Representative from Oklahoma access to a federal facility in Oklahoma where unaccompanied children are being held,” Bridenstine said in the press release. “Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks.”

Obama vows to act alone, taunts Republicans.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama defiantly dared congressional Republicans on Tuesday to try to block his efforts to act on his own and bypass a divided Congress that has thwarted his policy initiatives.

“So sue me,” he taunted on a sweltering day, as he pushed lawmakers to pay for road and bridge repairs. “I’m not going to apologize for trying to do something.”

Obama struck an aggressive tone in the face of a lawsuit threat from House Speaker John Boehner and in the wake of two defeats before the Supreme Court, including a unanimous decision from the court that he overreached when he appointed members of the National Labor Relations Board while the Senate was in recess.

His remarks came a day after Obama declared that he would act on his own to address weaknesses in the nation’s immigration system after Boehner informed him that the House would not take up an immigration overhaul this year.

He has already taken a series of executive actions, including an order requiring federal contractors to pay a higher minimum wage and initiating steps to to lower carbon emissions in coal-fired power plants.

“So far this year, Republicans in Congress have blocked or voted down every serious idea to strengthen the middle class — not ideas that are unique to me,” he said. “But the Republicans have said no to raising the minimum wage, have said no to fair pay. They’ve said no to extending unemployment insurance for over 3 million Americans looking for a new job.”

He called on Congress to close tax loopholes and use the money on infrastructure projects, a long shot idea that has little if any support among congressional Republicans.

“It’s not crazy. It’s not socialism,” he said, mocking the criticism from some conservative quarters. “You know, it’s not, you know, the imperial presidency or no laws are broken.”

POLL: Obama Worst Modern-Day President


President Barack Obama is the worst president since World War II, according to a plurality of voters in a new poll published Wednesday.

The Quinnipiac University survey found 33% of American voters named Obama as the worst while 28% named his predecessor, George W. Bush.

“Over the span of 69 years of American history and 12 presidencies, President Barack Obama finds himself with President George W. Bush at the bottom of the popularity barrel,” Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement.

Richard Nixon, whose presidency ended in scandal, received only 13% of the vote and Jimmy Carter scored 8%. None of the remaining eight presidents received more than 3%.

Asked about the 2012 presidential race, 45% of respondents said the country would be better off if the Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, had won. Slightly less — 38% — said the country would be worse off under a President Romney.

“Would Mitt have been a better fit?” Malloy asked. “More voters in hindsight say yes.”

Here’s a question for you: if your medical coverage (like that of HL) covers pregnancy prevention (birth control via IUDs, pills, condoms, etc) but does NOT cover pregnancy termination, why don’t you just drop in to your local CVS, Walmart, or Walgreens and buy an OVER THE COUNTER Plan B pill?

“I know more about Christopher Hubbart than I care to remember,” wrote Bays, who served as Hubbart’s parole officer in the 1990s. “Why does Chris scare me more than a Mexican Mafia Killer? Because Hubbart’s actions are ‘compulsive’ … personal compulsions at the expense of another’s life.”

“I fought hard to keep Hubbart locked up for obvious reasons,” Bays said. “Christopher Hubbart is where he belongs – that I am proud of.”

Hubbart, 63, who confessed to raping at least 40 women in Los Angeles and San Francisco between 1971 and 1982, will be released from a state psychiatric facility and placed in a home in Lake Los Angeles within the next few days, local enforcement confirmed to

Multiple sources identified Hubbart’s landlord as Martyn Haggett, a convicted felon who served eight years in prison for hiring a hitman to kill his then-estranged wife and her boyfriend.

Records obtained by show Haggett purchased the property where Hubbart will reside on January 2. Haggett could not be reached for comment.

Liberty Health Care, the company responsible for monitoring Hubbart for several weeks after his release, is renting the home from Haggett.

Palmdale Mayor James Ledford previously told The Associated Press the state would pay about $2,400 per month for a home that would normally rent for just $500.

Hubbart has been confined to a mental health facility since 1996. Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey petitioned the state Supreme Court in July 2013 to block Hubbart’s release, but the court denied her request, prompting widespread protests in the community.

1. A Fire Extinguisher is a Lousy Self Defense Weapon

No one seems to have an issue with folks keeping a fire extinguisher in the house, right? I mean, people don’t question your paranoia level even though there are fire departments just about everywhere. So I thought about just carrying a fire extinguisher for self defense too. I figured I could foam at least three people in the face before it emptied, and then it becomes an excellent impact weapon. After discovering that finding a concealed holster was near impossible, I gave up.

2. I don’t know when I might need it

While crime rates continue to fall over the long haul, there’s still plenty of evil behavior to go around. Read any paper and you’ll see that crimes happen all over, not just in “high risk” places. Speaking of high risk places, if I ever thought I was going somewhere I might need to use my gun, you can be darn tootin’ sure I wouldn’t be going there in the first place.

4. An Abrams tank gets terrible gas mileage

8. My powers can only be used for good.

Actually I don’t have any special powers. I’m a regular person like everyone else. And carrying a gun gives me no special powers either. But legally carrying a gun does in fact include me in a very exclusive club. Along with all you other folks who legally carry a gun, I am 5 times less likely to commit a violent crime and 14 times less likely to commit a non-violent crime than those who don’t legally carry a gun.

That’s right, concealed carry permittees are about the most law abiding group of measurable population segments. That’s from a Texas study of concealed permit holder criminal activity.

Just Texas? Nah. In Florida, one is twice as likely to be attacked by an alligator than a concealed carry permit holder.

So why all the concern about why you can and can’t carry? Because irrational hoplophobia.

9. As awesome as the police are, they can’t get to me fast enough.

Law enforcement can be a thankless job. Ask William. I’m sure he’ll have more to say about that in future columns. You have to be dedicated and willing to risk, well, everything, in order to engage in that career choice. That’s a lot of dedication to preserving public safety. But any police officer understands, and will admit, that they are minutes away when seconds count. Seconds. No one can respond to a crime before damage is done, no matter how dedicated.

10. Carrying a gun makes me extra, super duper, careful.

I find I am far more aware of my surroundings and circumstances when carrying a gun. Not because I want to get involved in something, but because I want to avoid things. A road rage argument on the road? Nope. If I’m carrying a gun, I’ll let the other guy “win” and continue on my way. Suspicious looking people? Nope. I’ll take the long way around. Dark alleys? Nah, even though I love scary movies, I won’t do dark alleys in real life.

11. Deterrence works.

I’m not at all suggesting that I will deter crime with my gun, or by showing it. That’s stupid, and almost always illegal. I am suggesting that when it’s well known that a goodly sized part of the population carries guns, criminals are much more thoughtful. The mayor of Murrieta, CA, has spoken out against the federal government dumping illegal aliens in his community, and protesters there successfully forced three busloads of detainees to divert elsewhere, preventing them from reaching a Border Patrol processing station in Murrieta.

While other communities near Border Patrol processing stations will be the first to feel the impact of this new wave of illegal immigration, the ill effects will eventually be passed on to the rest of the state and nation. Schools and health care centers, already strained, will be the first to suffer. The minors and families arriving here not only do not speak English, but many of them do not even speak Spanish. While we fail to provide adequate healthcare for our own veterans, we are now expected to look after the poor of Honduras and Guatemala.

Appropriately, local residents and officials are galvanizing against federal plans to dump national border problems onto their doorsteps. We need you to join with them.

President Obama created this crisis with his refusal to enforce our immigration laws. His administrative Dream Act amnesty and decreased internal deportations have told Central Americans that the U.S. border is wide open. Since the law does not allow illegal aliens from Central America, unlike those from Mexico, to be immediately turned back, we must insist that they be held, processed quickly at stations at the border and then deported.

We need more local officials to stand up against the Obama administration’s failure to enforce our immigration laws. Please call or email your mayor and ask that he or she speak out for your town and against illegal immigration. Ask your mayor to contact your U.S. Representative and other federal officials to oppose sending illegal aliens to your community.

Hillary Clinton defended her $200,000 fee for university speeches since it’s all for charity.

The former Secretary of State, in London promoting her book, said on Friday that she doesn’t hang on to the money she has earned from college events.

“All of the fees have been donated to the Clinton Foundation for it to continue its life-changing and life-saving work. So it goes from a foundation at a university to another foundation,” she told ABC News about past gigs, including a February speech at the University of Miami, a March appearance at UCLA and an April stop at UCONN.

She raked in $300,000 for her UCLA speech, according to The Wall Street Journal, but the yield from her other university stops is unknown.
Her comments come amid protests from students at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, who want her to forgo payment of $225,000 for an upcoming appearance in October.

Clinton wouldn’t comment on whether she would waive an honorarium in Vegas, speaking instead of her concern for the state of the economy.

Government scientists are not only blaming global warming for the centuries-long collapse of western Antarctic ice sheets, but global warming is also being blamed for record levels of sea ice in the South Pole. What?
Antarctica’s sea ice set another record this week, reaching 815,448 square miles above normal, breaking a record set this past weekend of 800,776 square miles above normal ice coverage.
These two records set within a week of one another shattered the previous ice extent record of 710,428 square miles above average that was set back on December 20, 2007.
Yep, it’s getting warmer by the second.
Left wing government paid liars have no understanding of how stupid they look, or simply don’t care as long as they can continue dining at the government trough. To call them scientists is an insult to real scientists.

While all of you were at family cookouts and watching fireworks displays, I was working.

We now have three new pole dancers at the Bar and BBQ.

Their names are Bunny, Bambi, and Richard.

Richard got the job because he is a disabled, LGBTQ, Black, atheist, Hispanic, Republican.

We had to change the upper plate fasteners from 3/8th to ½ inch bolts.
