Just looked outside it’s really smokey. Officer walking by said it’s almost out. I didn’t hear or see any trucks or sirens wierd.

3 question June 26, 2014 at 11:36 PM

Does anyone know if you can fish at New hall Park?

Wasn’t nearly as big as the one last year. Recent mowing really helped slow it down.

Also, they only use sirens if traffic needs to be alerted to move. Not much traffic at 11 pm.

Concord needs to start exporting more homeless and less jobs out of town.
Not saying it was one of the bazillion homeless that live in one of the bazillion encampments around town… but there is a bunch of em behind McDs/around the park.

It was a tad cool last night. I wonder if the homeless contingent was just trying to stay warm, and things got out of control.

@question:

There are signs posted at the park that there is no fishing.

that was caught in that fetid cesspool they call a lake….it is fouled with all kinds of urine and bowel filth from the various vermin who live there…ugh….

@9 – Do you think Fish usually leave their ponds to do their own business?

I smelled smoke last night, but the wife didn’t. We’re in that general vicinity. 2nd fire in about a year. I walked through the last fire and it looked like it pretty clearly started in a camp site. If this is the same, Concord needs to do something… there is a pattern established that they should clearly be able to see. If they do nothing to address it, and there is private property (or lives) lost, they’re going to be the target of litigation.

Were any animals killed, you have to consider them in something like this.
