The “Water Cooler” is a feature on where we ask you a question or provide a topic, and you talk about it!

The “Water Cooler” will be up Monday-Friday at noon!

Today’s question:

It’s friday, so let’s relax a little with a fun question.

What television show do you wish they would turn into a movie?

Talk about it….

Psych! Love the comedy and the dialog between the characters! Creative show, without being crude or violent. Entertaining!

Psych would be a good fun movie. I miss the show.

I don’t watch much TV, and I almost never watch the broadcast channels. But I wish they would take the series that I do like, including Vikings or Game of Thrones, and make each episode movie length.

They need to finish recently cancelled Revolution.

ClayCordian Ygnacio May 23, 2014 at 12:49 PM

it would be nice to have a movie to conclude “That 70’s Show”. the final episode was very lacking and things never got patched up.

Mama’s Family but the second reincarnation of the show with Bubba and Iola. They should film it around the holidays so Iola can bring her famous rum balls.

Battlestar Galactica-love that series.

I Spy guy May 23, 2014 at 3:45 PM

How about bringing back as a movie the series ‘The Man from Uncle’? It would fit the times of the day.

24 for sure.

Concord1963 May 23, 2014 at 4:04 PM

Deadwood. Cast Dennis Franz (NYPD Blue) as Dan Dorhity’s mean ass dad. He could compete with Al for Dan’s loyalty!

The best mini series ever created. I just bought the set at Rasputins Records in Pleasant Hill.

I was devastated when they canceled it. 🙁

Aspirin May 24, 2014 at 10:44 AM

Broadcast TV? What’s that?

Aspirin May 24, 2014 at 10:50 AM

Oh, Now I remember what broadcast TV is. It’s TV commercials with a few minutes of actual program thrown in. How about a movie made from commercial content edited to provide a plot of some kind. It would be an instant hit with 8 – 12 year olds which are the target demographic that commercial TV goes after.

Dutch May 24, 2014 at 11:51 AM

Some good answers above but I’d really like to see a Magnum P.I. movie with the original cast members.

Dog dog dad May 24, 2014 at 5:29 PM
