Look at that. Please pay attention while driving.

Details of the collision aren’t available, but we heard no major injuries were reported.

Thanks to Maria Zittel for the picture, which was taken on Clayton Rd. near the Clayton Valley Pet Hospital.

Will just hang onto my nice large American cars from the 1990s.

It’s been there all day! Odd! Why wasn’t it towed away after accident? Glad wveryone was ok! Very lucky!

I saw it this car this way at about 8:15 this morning taking my son to school. I was wondering what happend and why it hadn’t been towed away.

Wondering if Law Enforcement or Fire Dept. was involved somehow? Just wondering. These things are usually towed right away.

Maybe they didn’t have insurance…..?

See it plowed into a no parking sign too.

I drove by it at 6:20 this morning on my way to work. I was wondering why it wasn’t towed away.

Susan that’s what I’m thinking.

9 Maybe Police planted it there May 23, 2014 at 6:32 PM

to slow people down.

The navy base in Alameda would always have a mangled car out on 3 day weekends as reminders not to drink and drive.
Maybe that’s why it is still there. Have a safe and fun 3 – day weekend!!

Don’t worry, it will be gone by tomorrow morning.

The night shift (addicts, metal thieves) will strip it down to nothing.

I saw this at 6:15 this morning on my way to Bart. Wonder why it’s still there.

Ya I saw it this morning too. Wondered why it was still sitting there abandoned. No police or anyone around. Just sitting on the sidewalk.

Texting?

17 Julio May 23, 2014 at 7:27 PM

Is it going the wrong way and parked on a sidewalk?

Cheap ass Japanese cars… And why do people Volvos? Because they are safe? No. They expect to be involved in a crash!

I’ll keep my 2005 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with custom structural reinforcements and the Setina push bar. It’s sooo cool that people move out of my way…. especially on Interstate 5. Thanks!

I passed this accident this morning, it’s better to be careful while on the road.

22 furian May 23, 2014 at 8:37 PM

Sorry. It’s mine.

I thought I saw a ‘Coming Soon, Olive Garden’ sign, got all excited and lost control.

Is the graphic photo really necessary? I mean, even it’s mufflers & exhaust pipes are splayed out on the asphalt…. oh Gawd!

24 kathy May 23, 2014 at 9:00 PM

Its the rear end you are seeing…..

They GOT hit

25 Gimli May 23, 2014 at 11:19 PM

Not a setup. There was fluid all over the road next to this car. The damage is bad on this Acura but not as bad as that of the Mini Cooper. I would never drive a mini because of that reason, it folds up like paper.

this poor car got rear ended in a bad way. anyone know if this car ever got towed away? how long was it here for?

27 57 Chevy May 24, 2014 at 9:58 PM

I drove by this afternoon. It wasn’t there at 2:00 p.m.
