Walnut Creek Police and ConFire are asking residents in the neighborhood around Arbolado Park to be alert after three small vegetation fires were reported this past week.

The cause of the fires has not been determined, police said.

If you see anything suspicious or have further information, you are asked to call WCPD or call ConFire’s Arson hotline at 1-866-50-ARSON.

I was trying to be polite when I saw a lady the other day throw her cigarette butt out of her car while waiting at a stop light with an open field near by.
She acted smug and shrugged it off. (Of course she did!!!)
Don’t people even think about what they are throwing out of their cars in this drought?? I wish she had a sunroof so I could have thrown it back to her……

Why, why? do smokers think there is nothing wrong with 1) dropping their butts on the ground instead of placing them in an ashtray, 2) throwing cigarettes out of car windows, 3) blowing smoke in other people’s faces?? They honestly see nothing wrong with these things!! PIGS!
