Vehicle Hits Power Pole on Kirker Pass – Road Shut Down

May 13, 2014 17:40 pm · 7 comments

A vehicle struck a power pole on northbound Kirker Pass Rd. in Pittsburg, and the road has been shut down.

Wires were also knocked down during the crash, and a small fire started.

Please use an alternate route if you usually travel on Kirker.

My brother just reported seeing smoke from the 680 / 24 interchange said it looked like the Walnut Creek hills were having a grass fire. Are these one in the same?

Don’t worry Mr. Mayor. You’re doing a bang up job.
