Give me that old-time Com-mu-nis-m
By: ~ Yhe фантом

We are poor and are sorry.
And the rich, they only party.
If there’s anything left over,
They give it to their dogs.

Chorus:

Give me that old-time Com-mu-nis-m
Give me that old-time Com-mu-nis-m
Give me that old-time Com-mu-nis-m
It’s good enough for me.

We are sick and we are shattered
Our clothes are sadly tattered.
While the rich wear fine smooth silk,
We water down our milk.

Repeat Chorus:

Democracy finally rewarded toil,
And makes them share the spoil.
Now they blame us for their losses
But they are still the bosses.

Repeat Chorus:

Now that the Soviet has crumbled,
And Solidarity has stumbled,
Then Occupy sorta fumbled
Looks like Lenin musta bungled.

Repeat Chorus:

Today they demand contrition.
Then criticize our small ambition.
Finally retiring with simple mentions,
They resent our union pensions.

Repeat Chorus:

While they skim all the major portions,
And fight against women’s abortions,
They tax the middle classes,
And treat the 99% like asses.

Repeat Chorus:

The NASA scientist who once claimed the Bush administration tried to “silence” his global warming claims is now accused of receiving more than $1.2 million from the very environmental organizations whose agenda he advocated.

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Washington, D.C., a group claims NASA is withholding documents that show James Hansen failed to comply with ethics rules and financial disclosures regarding substantial compensation he earned outside his $180,000 taxpayer-paid position as director of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies.

“Hansen’s office appears to be somewhat of a rogue operation. It’s clearly a taxpayer-funded global warming advocacy organization,” said Chris Horner, a co-founder of The American Tradition Institute, which filed the lawsuit. “The real issue here is, has Hansen been asking NASA in writing, in advance, for permission for these outside activities? We have reason to believe that has not been occurring.”

The lawsuit claims Hansen privately profited from his public job in violation of federal ethics rules, and NASA allowed him to do it because of his influence in the media and celebrity status among environmental groups, which rewarded him handsomely the last four years.

Gifts, speaking fees, prizes and consulting compensation include:

— A shared $1 million prize from the Dan David Foundation for his “profound contribution to humanity.” Hansen’s cut ranged from $333,000 to $500,000, Horner said, adding that the precise amount is not known because Hansen’s publicly available financial disclosure form only shows the prize was “an amount in excess of $5,000.”

— The 2010 Blue Planet prize worth $550,000 from the Asahi Glass Foundation, which recognizes efforts to solve environmental issues.

— The Sophie Prize for his “political activism,” worth $100,000. The Sophie Prize is meant to “inspire people working towards a sustainable future.”

— Speaking fees totaling $48,164 from a range of mostly environmental organizations.

— A $15,000 participation fee, waived by the W.J. Clinton Foundation for its 2009 Waterkeeper Conference.

— $720,000 in legal advice and media consulting services provided by The George Soros Open Society Institute. Hansen said he did not take “direct” support from Soros but accepted “pro bono legal advice.”

In June 2009, New Yorker journalist Elizabeth Kolbert wrote that Hansen is “increasingly isolated among climate activists.”[108] Eileen Claussen, president of the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, said that “I view Jim Hansen as heroic as a scientist…. But I wish he would stick to what he really knows. Because I don’t think he has a realistic idea of what is politically possible…”

In July 2009, New York Times climate columnist Christa Marshall asked if Hansen still matters in the ongoing climate debate, noting that he “has irked many longtime supporters with his scathing attacks against President Obama’s plan for a cap-and-trade system.”

NASA Scientist Accused of Using Celeb Status Among Environmental Groups to Enrich Himself

“These were released into other jails and prisons or returned to other custodies…means,

““In some of the releases in 2013, ICE was required by law to release the individuals from custody, pursuant to decisions by the Supreme Court and other federal courts,” Gonzales explained. [ICE custody but transfers were required for active cases].

“The releases required by court decisions account for a disproportionate number of the serious crimes listed in the report,” she continued. “For example, mandatory releases account for over 75 percent of the [193] homicides listed.” [Defendants can be bailed out].

Actually, ” MANY were released under supervision, GPS monitoring, telephone monitoring, or surety bond” means released from custody, on PAROLE, with possible GPS or phone “monitoring”.

And “mandatory releases account for over 75 percent of the [193] homicides listed.” [Released into other domains].

How many had completed their other sentences and were then turned over to ICE afterwards?

Never thought to ask, did you?…check your work more thoroughly.

Hansen and 1251 other activists were arrested in August and September 2011, at another demonstration in front of the White House. Hansen urged President Obama to reject the Keystone pipeline extension intended to carry more synthetic crude oil from Canada’s Athabasca Oil Sands to the Gulf of Mexico.[80] On February 13, 2013, Hansen was again arrested at the White House, along with Daryl Hannah and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., during a further protest against the proposed Keystone pipeline extension.[82]

WHAT’S THE TRUTH ABOUT THE VETERANS AFFAIRS BILL OF 2014?

What matters is:

Veterans Affairs Bill was frustrated in the Democratic controlled Senate because the REPUBLICANS amended the clean bill, with ADDED SANCTIONS ON IRAN, which would have mangled and fumbled the American foreign policy negotiations in process with Sec. of State John Kerry.

On top of this, REPUBLICANS DEMANDED CUTS TO “MEANS TESTED” POVERTY PROGRAMS to reallocate the $2.1B cost per year, of a $3.8T budget. The ten year benefit was $21M.

1. Reduced services because of the debt ceiling game that led to Sequester reductions in the VA; which is short funded anyway.
2. Reduced CPI (Inflation adjustment).
3. Limited medical enrollment (incurral of claims) period
4. Abuse the Vietnam, Grenada, Kuwait, and Bosnian veterans by letting the new guys get extras that they don’t get.

“The legislation called for expanding several veterans benefits, including dental and medical care, educational assistance and the caretaker stipends that currently apply only to post-Sept. 11 veterans. It also required the repeal of a recent cut to the cost-of-living adjustments for future military retirees and would have allowed VA to open 27 new health facilities.

“Sanders had said he would be open to paying for the provisions with savings from reduced overseas contingency operations, formerly known as the global war on terrorism. But Republicans indicated that they prefer to dedicate the savings toward deficit reduction.”

Going Dutch –
The Netherlands, where six per cent of the population is now Muslim, is scrapping multiculturalism.
The Dutch government says it will abandon the long-standing model of multiculturalism that has encouraged Muslim immigrants to create a parallel society within the Netherlands.

A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament on June 16, reads:
“The government shares the social dissatisfaction over the multicultural society model and plans to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people”.
In the new integration system, the values of the Dutch society play a central role.
With this change, the government steps away from the model of a multicultural society.

The letter continues: “A more obligatory integration is justified because the government also demands that from its own citizens.”
It is necessary because otherwise the society gradually grows apart and eventually no one feels at home anymore in the Netherlands.

The new integration policy will place more demands on immigrants.
For example, immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language, and the government will take a tougher approach to immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law.
The government will also stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants because, according to Donner; “It is not the government’s job to integrate immigrants.” (How bloody true).

The government will introduce new legislation that outlaws forced marriages and will also impose tougher measures against Muslim immigrants who lower their chances of employment by the way they dress.
More specifically, the government imposed a ban on face-covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013.

Holland has done that whole liberal thing, and realized – maybe too late – that creating a nation of tribes, will kill the nation itself.
The future of Australia, the UK and Canada may well be read here.

READERS NOTE: Muslim immigrants leave their countries of birth because of civil and political unrest “CREATED BY THE VERY NATURE OF THEIR CULTURE.”
Countries like Holland, Canada, the UK and Australia have an established way of life that actually works, so why embrace the unworkable?
If Muslims do not wish to accept another culture, the answer is simple; “STAY WHERE YOU ARE!!”

This gives a whole new meaning to the term; ‘Dutch Courage’ – Unfortunately Australian, UK, and Canadian politicians don’t have the … guts to do the same. There’s a whole lot of truth here!!!!

“Fully 91 percent of Republicans think voter ID laws are important to prevent illegal voting. Views among Democrats are more divided: 55 percent say the laws are needed, while 43 percent disagree. For independents, 66 percent think the laws are needed vs. 30 percent don’t.

“The Fox News poll is based on landline and cell phone interviews with 1,025 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from May 10, 12-13, 2014. “The lawmakers said she is clearly “frustrated” that her story is falling apart, a day after Rice appeared to scoff at a question on whether a congressional select committee probe would reveal new evidence. “Danged if I know,” Rice said in response to the question Wednesday.

“She’s frustrated this won’t go away,”Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told reporters at a Capitol Hill news conference along with Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H. “She’s frustrated that she appeared on national television and told a story about Benghazi that has absolutely collapsed.”

Yo noflow

– My take on voting.

Nowadays it looks like the current estimates are:

Republican, Republican Leaning 32.5%
Democrat, Democrat leaning. 42.6%
Independent and other 25%

Republicans vote in all elections, especially midterms even when there are no sexy issues, just normal office holders and propositions…they may only withhold their vote on a recommended Party candidate, but they vote for somebody else.

They vote at the correct polling place…even if they have to walk. They always have picture identification at all times.

They are smart enough to have mail-in ballots for the elderly and infirm.

That’s how a minority group wins elections against a party that needs to strategize the issues to provoke a turn out.

1. Rock star candidates [Barack Obama]
2. Moral issues [Gay Marriage]
3. Economic crises [Minimum wage]

Lately I have felt that these Democratic masses suppose their vote can be held hostage each election, and require special promises, premiums, coupons, special excitement, free transportation, and cell phones every two years.

Voting has to be a Democratic Party block party just to get them to go to the polls, pleading with them to vote for their own improved conditions.

Republicans walk to the polls in the driving rain, sleet and snow, having been shamed into not collecting benefits for their children.

Hits a nerve…and the President knows this too…the “shellacking” lesson.

According to the Wall Street Journal today:

“California’s Medicaid rolls this year expanded to 11.5 million from 7.9 million last July—a nearly 50% increase. As the budget notes, about 30% of the state’s population will now be covered by Medicaid, up from 20%. The culprit is ObamaCare. California is one of 26 states that opted into the ObamaCare Medicaid expansion and raised eligibility to 138% of the federal poverty line. The federal government bribed states by offering to pay 100% of the costs for the first three years.”

Maryland is third when it comes to the share of black students in high-minority schools and fourth-lowest when it comes to black exposure to white students. CALIFORNIA, Michigan, New Jersey and Texas also rank highly among the indicators suggesting high rates of segregation among blacks.

West Virginia is the most integrated state across the board. The share of black students in majority-white schools is incredibly high — 92.6 percent. Republicans wear the shame of using the Benghazi losses as an opportunity to leverage attacks on ACA ObamaCare.

Now that the ACA has succeeded, the ruse against the administration continues, and they continue to pretend it was even a subject of any concern. They ignored the Bush losses and the Clinton losses.

“The California Medical Assistance Program (Medi-Cal or MediCal) is the name of the California Medicaid welfare program serving low-income families, seniors, persons with disabilities, children in foster care, pregnant women, and certain low-income adults.

“It is jointly administered by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), with many services implemented at the local level by the counties of California. Approximately 8.8 million citizens were enrolled in Medi-Cal for at least 1 month in 2009-10, or about 23% of California’s population.[1]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medi-Cal#Benefits

– It is a safety net for the poor. Assets may be applied to services…so that in the end, the system did not ignore the fact that the claimant was in possession of real estate assets not considered in the initial application for services. It would be unfair for the state to provide free medical attention to a person who left $600,000 to their heirs.

it is a confiscation of property, because those who are in the program do not realize they are forfeiting their property when they have their medical bills paid by MediCal.

private health care insurance does not include this “required payback” provision.

bottom line: those enrolled in MediCal (some forced there by Obamacare) are being forced to forfeit their property as part of the cost of coverage.

NEW: IRS office in D.C. heavily involved in tea party assault
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/may/14/irs-papers-contradict-lois-lerner-story-as-many-gr/?page=2

Judicial Watch released documents Wednesday that prove the targeting was overseen by Washington. The documents also contradict former IRS employee Lois G. Lerner’s claim that the problem was centered in the agency’s Cincinnati office.

Senators Carl Levin, Charles Schumer, Dick Durbin, Congressman Elijah Cummings, and others are all up to their eyeballs in this. The Democrats are using the IRS to attack and intimidate ordinary Americans.

Actually all this corruption goes far beyond the IRS. It runs through every agency and department in this administration, from the State Department to the Bureau of Land Management.

President Obama and Eric Holder are simply deploying the Chicago Mafia tactics that brought them to power in the first place.

@furian #452 & 453……

I wouldn’t be so fast in judging others and calling them “keyboard commandos” as they “hide behind a computer;” or accusing others of namecalling. What do you think you’re doing?

Then…..in earlier posts, you attempt to lecture those posting on this blog about what Jesus would do, etc…

I’m not saying Elwood or Dennis (or others) are right in what they’re saying….I’m just saying you need to look in the mirror yourself before you judge others.

Since you’re so interested in asking what Jesus would do, perhaps you’d be interested in what the Bible says about judging others….

Romans 2:1 – Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Romans 2:3 – And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Matthew 7:1 – Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Matthew 7:2 – For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again

Matthew 7:3 – And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Luke 6:37 – Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Luke 6:42 – Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.

John 8:7 – So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

1 Corinthians 4:5 – Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Walk the talk and don’t be a hypocrite.

Firstly, you don’t “know what I’m all about.” Secondly, I’m not “refusing to tell my fellow Christians” the same. Thirdly, I don’t have the luxury of a lot of time to thoroughly review what every poster on this blog says. I post my comments when I can. If you don’t like the timeliness because of my time limitations, then too bad for you. Tough $hit. You’ve got no business judging me….see above.

Dennis, furian, shadow, phantom, elwood, jwb and the rest of the left-wing and right-wing ranters……GROW UP! Your ongoing insulting of each other because of philosophical differences tells me you’re unable to process anything that does not meet your personal beliefs… in other words, you’re close-minded and not willing to listen. This is not limited to the “religious right” – I’ve seen plenty of “vileness” from both sides of the aisle. Nobody is clean; nor is either side “cleaner” than the other. I don’t keep score – but (again) I’ll say that both sides need to grow up!

If you disagree with someone’s opinion, that’s fine. Rebut it. There is absolutely NO NEED to personally insult individuals as to their “stupidity, snarkiness, dorkiness, cowardliness, etc, etc…” as has been done here. Doing so just shows that you do not have the capability to rebut others’ opinions……. but just prefer to act like spoiled petulant children.

Is that how you’d like to be remembered? All of you? Dennis? Phantom? Furian? Elwood? JWB? shadowblade? Others? Do you think that, in doing so, you’re setting a good example for your kids? Is there any wonder why society is collapsing, given the examples we’re seeing here?

You all need to step back and take a breath. What are you accomplishing by these posts? Does that make you feel better, knowing that someone is going to come right back at your with another insult?

Grow the h3!! up. You all need to start “acting” like adults should be acting – I’m assuming, of course, that most on this blog are adults. If not, then why aren’t you in school?

So furian – I’ve called them ALL out on it…..without waiting for someone else to post. Now are you going to retract your comments?

Got it? Or do I have to put you all in a timeout?

That’s it for this month. I don’t have time to wait for others to bash me personally, as I’m sure they will. But that’ll be just more telling, in that it’ll be apparent they don’t have a clue – and will never have a clue.

Bye, all……

It is high time we get to the big picture!
What is the big picture?
Good question…
A simple super simplistic approach (to all) is this:

Let US all let the watchers know fully and clearly that we are watching them watch US!

It’s high time…

This super totally means letting the (man-woman-beast) string pullers that be know fully that we are onto knowing that these super maniacally motivated manipulator’s are right now, here now, on our omni-watch list…

THE MOTHER OF ALL BIG WATCH LISTS!

It’s a super super serious watch list we have – and their time is up!!!

These watchers and these and they whom they represent are certainly pushing us further and farther apart collectively.
They are pushing us successfully against each other and most aggressively succeeding to dupe us into their wheelhouse of an ever succeeding WORLD paradigm shift…

They are successfully changing not only the playing field, but the actual goal posts of humanity literally – on their day to day basis…

Let us all super soon figure it out – please soon – that the day come up – is NOW!

Let’s all get it and let them know we – GET IT!

Let ‘US’ let them know that we are onto this super sick strategy!

This, their less than well kept secret, is out, and collectively together, we flat out must rise and tell them – “we can’t, won’t, and will not take it any more”!

Together we can and surly must!

Otherwise the option is “A” give in – or ‘B’ take them down and out!

I super support ‘B’.

Who’s up to take them down!

Love,

“MEME”.

So if you are confronted with a tinfoil hat looney, who insists that cold fusion in a jar is possible, but is kept secret by Big Oil, or that Katrina was caused by Bush … and your conversations were repeatedly interrupted by that individual, what do you suggest?

Just keep rebutting the idiot’s claims?

There comes a point when you recognize that the person is not “discussing” anything, and certainly has no intention of admitting their claptrap is nonsense; all they want to do is broadcast their beliefs.

When that happens, you realize that the goal of the tinfoil hatted dork is just to be disruptive.

Dunno about you, but if I was attending city council meetings, and each one them had a TFH guy demanding time at the microphone to accuse the city council of conspiring with UFOs to ruin his cable reception, it would rapidly de-escalate to pointing out that the guy is a nutjob, who is only interested in disrupting the group.

Rather than take the time to rebut the speech … repeatedly … just warn the group that the person is a nutjob.

Unfortunately, people who are new to the group (like you?) haven’t gone through the learning curve yet. You haven’t seen the attempts to re-write history, or shift blame from favorite politicians, or attacks on our customs, morals, and national identity, by those who worship at the altar of Lenin.

Lois Lerner was appointed as head of the IRS Exempt Organizations Division during the Bush administration, in 2006. She served as director the IRS Exempt Organizations Rulings and Agreements Division for four years before that. A graduate of Boston’s Northeastern University and Western New England College of Law in Springfield, Mass., Lerner began her legal career as a staff attorney in the Department of Justice’s criminal division before joining the Federal Election Commission as an assistant general counsel in 1981. She spent 20 years at the FEC, where she was appointed head of the Enforcement Division in 1986 and then acting general counsel for six months in 2001.

EMERGING JUNTA
Illegal IRS actions and cover-up undermine our government.
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/378115/emerging-junta-kevin-d-williamson

In the run-up to the 2012 election, IRS executives including Lois Lerner, singled out conservative organizations for invasive investigations, and legal harassment. The IRS demanded answers to wildly inappropriate questions, such as the content of their prayers. Groups critical of taxes, spending, and debt were also targeted. And most worrisome, groups that were “critical of the how the country is being run” were flagged.

The IRS is not just a revenue agency. It is a police agency with far greater powers of investigation and coercion that any normal police force.

An ominous feature of a police state is that those who are entrusted with the power to enforce the law are not themselves bound by it. Using government resources for political ends is a serious crime, as is conspiring to mislead investigators about those crimes. Other than holding Lois Lerner in contempt for refusing to comply with the demands of congressional investigators, almost nothing has happened.

The IRS scandal comes at a time when the Democratic party is seeking to radically expand the power of the federal government to regulate political speech.

Elected officials and public servants of both parties take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to faithfully discharge the duties of their office. That oath is now being tested. The delicate constitutional order we have enjoyed for more than two centuries is being reduced to a brutal “might-makes-right” proposition.

The IRS investigation is no mere partisan scandal, but a moral challenge for the men and women who compose the government of this country. Whether they can meet that challenge is far from obvious, but the evidence is not encouraging.

IRS Scandal’s Central Figure, Lois Lerner, Described as ‘Apolitical’

“The problem is, the IRS’s guidelines for what constitutes a tax-exempt “social welfare” group are extremely vague. Under some interpretations, as long as 49 percent of a group’s activities does not relate to campaign intervention, it can be eligible for 501(c)(4) status, but even then there is no explanation of how the focus of a group’s activities should be measured.

Proponents for stricter definitions of what qualifies as a 501(c)(4) argue that such inconclusiveness is to blame for the $308.5 million worth of undisclosed political spending that came from these supposedly nonpolitical groups in 2012 alone.

The ILLEGAL ALIEN CONVICTED CRIMINALS WERE RELEASED, NOT DEPORTED.
They should have been deported.
You’re a stupid head!

Holding up the status decisions on 501(c)4 status allowed the Tea Party groups to collect funds unfettered by the fear of loss of tax-exempt status.

This delayed the rejection and allowed them to keep collecting and spending the money.

If Romney won, there was no fear of investigation. If Obama won, this suspected treachery could be used for a Nixon impeachment look-a-like.

Who brought it up just in time? Lerner herself! May 10, 2012 at the Tax Law Conference.

That’s why the Fifth Amendment call-out by Lerner.

There is a scandal all right, the Republicans are right.

– Why? Phony Benghazi scandal had burnt out.

REPORT: U.S. RELEASED THOUSANDS OF IMMIGRANT FELONS LAST YEAR

“Critics of the administration’s immigration policies are pointing to data on the thousands of immigrants convicted of crimes – and then released – as evidence that there should be no further leniency toward those in the U.S. without permission.

“…It’s designed to scare the American public with a lot of misleading information,” said Gregory Chen, the director of advocacy for the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He said that the report’s definition of criminals who have been “released” includes those who are still subject to supervision including electronic ankle monitoring and regular check ins with ICE. He also described the agency’s process for determining which people would pose a public threat is as “very rigorous.”

“Rather than attacking the use of smart effective methods like alternatives to detention…there should be better information out there indicating that these are the smart, effective methods to protect the community and also to save the taxpayer dollars,” Chen said. He said the criminal justice system has increasingly relied on non-detention methods of supervision lately, but that ICE has embraced detention so much that the numbers have more than doubled since 2001 to more than 400,000 in FY2012. Less than 100,000 people were detained in 1994.

“We should be proud of the system that we have and the fact that we don’t lock people up forever,” the said. “These kinds of scare tactics that cause us to question that fundamental system I think are unfortunate.”

– ICE is a really stupid head idea after about 12,000,000 have entered the US illegally since 2000…who are we trying to fool?

One Army National Guard Brigade could have ended the Mexican crossing.
Every state could have rotated on the US borderline, (50 states, 7 territories);

Two weeks of superb desert training similar to the Middle East.

Why didn’t we do it?

Even I figured this out way back then…and I’m just a nobody.
