They need three doors on each side of the car! Lets get the people on and off the car quicker folks!

What Bart needs to do is get figure out a way to not let the homeless people on the trains because they will destroy the trains like they destroyed our Bart trains today.Yes I’m glad Bart is giving the public new Bart trains but there is a lot of issues with homeless people sleeping on the trains and these homeless people stink up the Bart carts really bad.And my last issue with Bart is what about new train tracks? There are too many delays with Bart fixing the tracks every single day.

Hate the colors of the seats. Does not reflect the color of the Bay Area.
They gotta go !!

@3, no city wants homeless dumped in their city, therefore leave them alone untill they get off on their own.

Saw the new car (not a full size version) while it was at the Pittsburg station. It does have 3 doors. But there are less seats and lots of standing room.

I agree with Francis Barker; the homeless cause 75% of the damage to the trains. There aren’t enough seats for people commuting to the East Bay. I doubt I will support BART if I can’t have a seat. I’m not into the UNSAFE cattle crush CONDITIONS that BART puts its passengers through now. All the patrons and taxpayers and paid an arm and leg for a system that we are supposed to have a seat on. This isn’t a 15 minute muni commute. We need the new cars now, not in 2017. BART, and you’re lucky if you get there any more. Definitely the 3.7% raises their lame arse top management got, should have went into the trains and maybe 100% fixing the problem on the tracks between North Concord and Concord stations, and getting that 48 million cross over to work. BART is pathetic.

Not enough seats, no luggage storage racks even though BART serves two airports.
Brilliant.

nice colors!

Add a Starbuck’s or a Peet’s car to the commute-time trains. BART could make some easy money.

I think the fact that the cars have less seats is a stupid design–it probably cost less to put less seats. Many of the commutes are long for us. They should have the same number of seats on the trains as their old cars. Perhaps they can have separate bicycle cars that have lots of open space so bikes can get on and off easier. Whatever…wasn’t expecting much from the newly designed cars and I guess I was right. Commuting from a long distance will be even less comfortable now. Thanks for nothing BART!

That color scheme has got to go. How about red and gold?

Just buy them and be done with it before we windup paying double.

Fewer seats = higher capacity = more $$$.
