Claycord Online Museum – Claycord’s “Wheeler-Dealer” Board Game

May 6, 2014 · 3 comments

This game called “Wheeler-Dealer” is just like monopoly, and was distributed around the year 1980 in many different cities throughout the United States, including Concord.

All the proceeds of the sale of this game in the 80′s went to a local group called the American Association of University Women.

This one, which was made in 1980 for Concord and the Clayton Valley area, has advertisements for local businesses all around the game’s border.

ABOUT THE CLAYCORD ONLINE MUSEUM: The Claycord Online Museum is made up of historical photos, documents & anything else that has to do with the history of our area.

If you have any old photos or items that you’d like to place in the Claycord Online Museum, just scan or take a photo of them, and send them to the following address: news@claycord.com. It doesn’t matter what it is, even if it’s just an old photo of your house, a scan of an old advertisement or an artifact that you’d like us to see, send it in and we’ll put it online!

I think it’s neat that many of these advertisers are still in business (dentists, skip’s, realtors). I miss Party Time though, that store had everything!
