If it was a medical condition that caused this I hope everyone is ok.

If it was someone who wasn’t paying proper attention or was driving recklessly YOU CAN RUIN THE LIVES OF INNOCENT PEOPLE OR KILL SOMEONE. IF YOU CAN’T FOCUS ON DRIVING SAFELY GET OFF THE DAMN ROAD.

Again? That area must have some hidden danger.

The “Hidden Danger” exists in the stunted brains which decide they just CANNOT wait through that long signal rotation.

@5

Yup, that hidden danger is called Claycord area drivers. This area has absolutely horrible drivers.

STOP lights are there to keep people safe. Thousands of cars go through there daily without a hitch.
Ignore the Lights and you’ll have a problem.

Another bad day for drivers in a big hurry….I see people all the time
driving thru red lights….and unfortunately do not see police…always
driving thru red lights…surprised we do not see more accidents like this one.

I do hope that no one got hurt bad…looks like a bad accident.

People please….do NOT drive so fast..and slow down when you see the light changing from yellow to red…STOP

What idiots did this! Always something.

At least one of the parties wasn’t supposed to be in that intersection at that time.

Seems to be the colors red and green looks the same to a certain segment of drivers. If they keep it up,they will force the city to install red cameras in that area.

14 Marianne May 1, 2014 at 8:55 AM

I’m sure Concord has the money to install cameras everywhere like in San Jose–oh wait, San Jose is going bankrupt.

At least they missed the fence.

People drive like idiots in downtown Concord! Slow down people!!!

Isabeau #15: this is one block west of the fenced area. If they went onto the sidewalks, they would have hit Bank of America, Chevron gas station, the sad looking Mexican bar, or the empty stores below those high priced apartments. You know the apartments: the ones with the call girls the former chief of police was caught frequenting.
