Homes & businesses are in the dark in Concord’s Dana Estates neighborhood this afternoon.

The outage occurred just after noon, and according to PG&E, the outage is affecting customers between Landana, Juniper, Lynwood & Mulberry.

PG&E says the power should be back on by 4pm.

The cause of the outage hasn’t been determined.

We won’t have power until 8:00 pm at least.

Stopped at the light that was not working at Concord Blvd and Landana during the outage, a woman in a SUV swerves around us waving her hands at us. So out of touch and not paying attention, she did not even realize the light was out.

Like I tell my kids, it’s not just them we worry about, it’s the driving of others including mature adults.
