Clayton Police are responding to Blue Oak Lane to break-up a party of about 300 people. Witnesses in the area say a few of the revelers have tasers and somebody mentioned having a gun, but no weapons have been seen.

No major injuries have been reported

Police are currently in the process of breaking up a few fights and taking another report of a fleeing vehicle hitting a parked car near the party.

UPDATE, 11:48pm: Most of the area is now clear.

Well it was a hot time in Clayton last night! That’s pretty awful. Who patrols Clayton, anyway?

Because there is no dancing places or hip cool places for teenagers to go past 6pm besides the city and the movies.

Only some persons home who is having a party.

Oh those crazy CVCHS kids. Just releasing a little steam withe tasers and maybe a gun. Anybody else want to put their kid’s name in the admissions lottery? Maybe they’ll find some disabled kids Little League team to harass next weekend. Isn’t that what they teach over there?

Clayton is going downhill the last few years, not a nice area like it used to be.
Not much different than Antioch/Pittsburg now, is it? Karma is a b-tch.

froggy April 20, 2014 at 2:09 PM

Are you retarded or just dumb? @DC

KenInConcord April 20, 2014 at 2:33 PM

Just a kick back with 300 of your closest friends!

I bet parents are surprised to find that anything of value in the house has been picked up by their children’s friends!!

DC#18- Don’t think Clayton is slipping, but unfortunately it’s surrounded by Concord, Pittsburg and Bay Point.. Probably bored Clayton youth partying at a house with no adult supervision. Not the end of the world.

I guess my invite was lost 🙁

Heard about this from my nephews this afternoon. (My sis lives a couple blocks away from this.) I’m sure it’s just coincidental with her kids heading off to college, BUT she is looking to sell her house and get out of Clayton.
And with my parents retiring to Mexico (their house goes on the market soon), seems like all my family is abandoning the Claycord ship before it hits another iceberg! (Weapon station development)
I’m putting off (read: don’t have enough credits because I got sick) moving up to Sonoma state another semester till I get my health cleared up. It’s not looking goof for the area though. I read about the murder up the street from my house. I didn’t hear a peep that night, no shots or sirens.
Too bad, this was a nice area to grow up as a child.

Anon April 20, 2014 at 6:25 PM

Illegal aliens, bleeding hearts and druggies. All reasons to leave what was a really nice place to grow up.

Stay out of Clayton! April 20, 2014 at 6:58 PM

All of you please stay out of Clayton as everyone above says it’s very dangerous and just like Oakland! And everyone knows how much they try CVCHS will never be as classy as DLS or NG, and the admissions lottery is just a made up farce.

Save yourselves and your children! Stay out of Clayton!

We’d appreciate it!

Underwood April 20, 2014 at 7:34 PM

Damn, glad I don’t have children.

Hope everyone had fun. 🙂

@28 Everybody go to Clayton and wake up this city. Bring all the great advantages of it’s surrounding cities here to Clayton. Let’ also share in what Clayton has to offer.

MikeT April 20, 2014 at 7:58 PM

Damn folks, just a bunch of kids having fun. Out of line? You bet. Did it myself, had a ball, no harm done. I’m 62, remember those days, and I bet it is just as much fun now as then…

Rose Garden April 20, 2014 at 8:47 PM

Come on people, lighten up!

I partied like that in the 70’s. J. Geils……Ain’t Nothing But a House Party!

Maya Piñon April 20, 2014 at 10:11 PM

Yep, sounds like a bunch of kids having fun. Clayton isn’t going downhill at all to those who are saying such things. I happen to live here for the past 15 years and it’s a very close knit community of good people and neighbors and I always feel safe. Your just jealous you can’t afford to live here!

mtzman April 20, 2014 at 11:55 PM

So at 11:46 pm police are responding to 200-300 people at an out of control party and two minutes later, at 11:48 pm “most of the area is now clear.” I wonder what that was like …

Whomp Whomp April 22, 2014 at 1:27 PM

Come on, parents out of town, time to have a party! Sounds like Project X came to life. Teens have house parties (since forever), tons of people show up, now with social media even MORE people can show up. Does it mean Clayton is going down? Come on, you all sound like cranky old people, it happens everywhere! Maybe you are just mad because you were never invited to these parties.
