BART passengers can expect major delays system-wide this evening after a person was reported on the tracks beneath a train at San Francisco’s Montgomery station, a BART spokeswoman said.

All westbound trains are stopped at Montgomery station, while all eastbound trains are running, without stopping at Montgomery Street station.

The gender and age of the person beneath the train, as well as his/her condition had not been released, BART spokeswoman Luna Salavar said.

UPDATE, 5:53pm: The person has been removed from underneath the train, and the station is back open. Expect major delays throughout the evening commute.
