BART Police arrested a drunk woman on child endangerment charges on Tuesday night at 8:45.

Police say officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female with two small children on board the Concord bound train. Officers contacted the female at the Concord station and found that her two sons, aged two and three, were not being properly cared for, police said.

The suspect was found to be intoxicated in public and she had a history of child endangerment arrests, police said.

The suspect, who hasn’t been identified, was arrested for public intoxication and child endangerment.

The two children were placed in the care of an adult relative of the suspect. The suspect was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.

At least... April 9, 2014 at 8:06 AM

They weren’t 1000 miles at sea.

Classy. Really classy.

Pull your life together, you’re ruining for those kids already.

Cowellian April 9, 2014 at 8:16 AM

I hope she wasn’t driving that train.

Dorothy April 9, 2014 at 8:48 AM

She has a history of this and still keeps getting the kids back? Maybe the relative they are staying with doesn’t want to keep them either. Don’t like the foster system but the kids just might be better off in foster care.

She keeps getting back custody of her kids?

Ick April 9, 2014 at 9:02 AM

Nice way for those kids to grow up. Great example. Hope this person gets some help.

Michelle April 9, 2014 at 9:23 AM

She needs her kids taken away from her.

Charles-the-cat April 9, 2014 at 9:33 AM

It’s possible that her history of child endangerment arrests involve different children. Very sad for any kids to grow up this way.

Whats this? The Sgt didn’t approve of the arrest and debrief everyone?

anonanonagain April 9, 2014 at 10:09 AM

This is pathetic. How sad for those children. So many people these days can’t even get pregnant without medical intervention and this wench can just pop them out. A drunkard having children should be sterilized and so should the father……

The mother needs help. Is AA still around?

NutCreek Frontier April 9, 2014 at 10:59 AM

So sad, 2 & 3 year olds out that late with a drunk mother…am praying this mother seeks treatment. Think due to the history of child endangerment, someone else should get temporary custody of the kids and the mother should have court mandated AA. Could have been really bad if the kids had fallen off the BART platform as the mother was is no shape to watch them.

Bernard April 9, 2014 at 12:06 PM

AA won’t help. Old drunks telling their stories all day will drive her to drink. She needs locked up Rehab and child care counseling!

Please refrain from having children April 9, 2014 at 12:11 PM

Most people in our society are just not emotionally stabe enough to raise children properly. Something to think about next time your partner “forgets” to use protection. And it wouldn’t hurt if women starting using more birth controls pills either.

#15 Its becoming the norm!

Anon April 9, 2014 at 2:54 PM

CPS is your enemy–their world is about reunification of the Mother & child–no matter is the child dies next time they get together. I am sure the’Dad” is not int he picture. Either out of the area or in the joint. forget about treatment– it is a waster of our tax dollars–they will tell you what you want to hear

Concord’s finest — BART has become such a miserable way to get to and from work I absolutely cannot stand it any more. They need to dump the entire system into the recycle bin and start over because BART doesn’t get you ANYWHERE ON TIME ANY MORE. DELAY, DELAY, DELAY, IS BART’S WAY TO SERVE PASSENGERS OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY. It was more of homeless hotel and drunk tank then a method of transportation to get to and from work. Buy hey, I’m sure we’ll see another poster real soon saying something that BART will never back-up. I HATE BART! BART IS A RIP OFF AND A FINANCIAL WASTE PIG.

so sick of this April 9, 2014 at 5:39 PM

It is not ok what she did. Kids should not be around intoxicated adults. I have two kids and do not drink alcohol at all never have. Grew up with a alcoholic mom. I hear a lot of judgment regarding this woman on Bart and I wonder how many of you take your kids to the summer concerts they have in Clayton every summer. I go often and am always surprised at how many adults are intoxicated and with their kids. Is it any less classy or wrong because its Clayton. Just saying unless you don’t drink most of you have been intoxicated around your kids.

This woman is the poster child for birth control. She and her semen donor have proven total failure in basic child care. Both should be sterilized. I shed tears for these children. There are many others in this same situation. We must protect defenseless children. A civilized society demands it. What is happening to us?

Marc Klass said it best. ” A lot of people shouldn’t be parents.” Very sad.

Julio April 9, 2014 at 8:14 PM

Thank you Bart Police for doing something for once!

AldrigeFamily April 9, 2014 at 8:47 PM

Concord, you do know that she wasn’t from Concord right? The police boarded the train and took her off at that station.

a lot of young women do not get good advice on dating and choosing a husband. What if our culture taught that dating is not a form of recreation? What if people only dated when they were ready to be married? Too bad this culture follows Hollywood too much and lives more on what feels good instead of what is the wise course.
