PICTURES: Hail Storm (with Thunder & Lightning) Hits Claycord

It’s pouring, and in some parts of Claycord, it’s even hailing huge balls of frozen rain (see John’s picture above)!

Thunder & lightning can be heard throughout the valley, and roadways are starting to flood, so please be careful, and turn on those headlights.

Thanks to all the Claycordians for sharing the pictures shown above! We really appreciate it!

I’ve heard thunder and seen lightening but have never heard the loud crack of lightening like I just did! Wow that was a close one!

Ha! Trampolines make good hail catchers!

Hail, hail, the rain has come again. Good pictures.

LOL, huge hail? Pea sized at best and lasted all of about 5 minutes before melting away. I hope you were using sarcasm Mr. Mayor! 😉

Monster peas! I had to pull over to the side of the road, it was so exciting!
It sounded like gravel pelting my car. I love this. A little further down the road we saw a flash. Unfortunately I did not see the display of lightening photoed in another thread.

Where in Claycord did it hail? We only got lots and lots of heavy rain.
