The Concord Police Weekly Burglary Report – 22 Burglaries in the Past 7 Days

cpd

This week, Concord had 22 burglaries. The week before, Concord had 10, and before that, Concord had 8 burglaries.

The last two numbers in each address have been deleted to respect the privacy of the victim(s).

According to the Concord Police, the report shown above might not include burglaries that are still under investigation.

Memo to the Chief and the City Manager:

The Chief listed his top three priorities . They included domestic violence and not burglary. This is a mistake. No one thinks domestic violence is unimportant, but its pretty much non preventable. I am not scared of domestic violence and neither are out neighbors, but we all worry about burglars. Having had several burglaries in our neighborhood I would like to see morre proactive programs , such as probation searches and an increase in manpower directed at the villians who rip off families. There are also certain programs, best unmentioned, that get lots of burglars in jail.

Thank you.

Temperatures are Rising = increase in crime

So much for the trend downward. I can only see this number increasing over time unless this area (Monument) is cleaned up.

lol yeah crime is down …..slightly below the city of Detroit maybe. The city council is on a mission to destroy this town to line their pockets and further their political careers at our expense. Crime will be an issue for many more years as their only goal is to set up their friends and backers to get rich and the tax payers to get the hose. The city council will make great democrats as they have already shown the signs of them first and voters last. And after we pass they scam the elections with deceased votes to keep their seats. So as long as the city council continues its reign of terror we will always have the crimes of money laundering and embezzlement by elected criminals who have worked the system to their advantage at all costs to the tax payers. The poor beleaguered voters who got scammed to elect these criminals

@ Aonymous—-1

You’re a MORON! And a sexist. Domestic violence should be a priority! It could EASILY LEAD TO DEATH! Especially if he or she has a gun! You dance around it saying “it’s not preventable” because you don’t give a ****!

As far as burglaries, lock the damn place up. If someone breaks in, call the damned insurance company!

You know this was done purposely, hoods saw your chart and just wanted to mess with you.

9 viictim March 13, 2014 at 4:48 PM

Wife beaters affect wives. Burglars affect all of us.

‘Nuff said

Burglaries are very preventable, especially vehicle burglaries. Home burglaries are very preventable as well, but people don’t want to take the necessary precautions.

And when you try to point out the necessary precautions, illogical people whine about “blaming the victim.”

You can’t have it both ways. Wise up!

Do I think law enforcement doesn’t make burglaries a priority because they know it’s easily preventable? No comment.

Rick’s here. The rest of the gang should be here shortly.

12 Michelle March 13, 2014 at 5:23 PM

Seems like we’ve had an increase in residential burglaries–what gives this week. That’s definitely going to put a spike in your chart.

13 Shelley March 13, 2014 at 5:24 PM

Cowellian, according to the Mayor, Claycord.com gets a million hits a month. There could be over 50 Rick’s on here.

You bait people, but that’s your prerogative.

You should try getting along with people. It will make you happier and more likeable.

You’re not still in high school.

14 @Cowellian March 13, 2014 at 5:28 PM

We’ve already got “Julie” agreeing with “Rick”. I expect all the personalities to be along any minute.

15 @3 March 13, 2014 at 5:30 PM

You might want to get yourself a map, because most of those are not in the Monument area (unless you consider the “area” to be anything in a 10-mile radius).

Like Them or Not, Neighbors Working as One Can Prevent This. Don’t have A lot of Money? I’ve a Been There. Places Like Harbor Freight Tools, and Fry’s Sometimes have Very Noisy Alarms For Windows, Etc, that are Inexpensive and do a Decent Job Alerting Others. A Noisy Alarm Saved My Property, as we were Visited By a Tweaker Raping on a window Attempting to Pry it Open. Video Camera’s? We’ve All Seen The results On Claycord. It’s The Criminals First Mugshot. Practice for His/Her Jail Portrait! Sadly, it’s not getting better. Let’s Make Them Nervous, and Get The Hell Outta Here!

Re: Memo to the Chief and the City Manager:

“Vigilant Claycordian Helps Catch Burglar in N. Concord, Gives Thanks to
Claycord.com

“The suspect was alone and after being inside the house for a few minutes, fled on foot. I called Concord PD right away and they were on it.”

Don’t you hate it when that happens?

And Random task is quoting Cicero – 55BCE

18 Cowellian March 13, 2014 at 6:13 PM

Yeah, that’s a different Rick, just like you’re a different Shelley. The Gang with only one Brain is close to having a quorum.

19 Anonymous March 13, 2014 at 6:14 PM

Thank you Rick, for sharing. Exposing sexist running dogs is useful.

Tell us, how do the cops prevent domestic violence, drones, bugging apartment houses, listening under windows? You must have some really good ideas about that.

And of course you are right, just put a lock on the door and everything will be OK.
Tell us Rick, are you a burglar?

20 Cowellian March 13, 2014 at 6:31 PM

Maybe not a burglar, but he is the sharpest tool in Claycord’s shed.

21 Cowellian March 13, 2014 at 7:49 PM

Welcome to Claycord, Kevin!

22 Meth Monsters March 13, 2014 at 8:12 PM

It’s hard out here for a pimp
When he’s trying to get money for the rent
For the Cadillacs and gas money spent
A whole lot of bi%#< jumpin ship

23 Anonymous March 13, 2014 at 8:54 PM

Wow, we are seeing multiple personalities tonight. Someone seems real upset about the PD going after burglars. Wonder why that is?

Can you help us Rick/Julie/Kevin?

Afraid old Cowellian called you out..And won.

24 Puddintain March 13, 2014 at 9:26 PM

Such a busy troll.

25 Mimi (original) March 13, 2014 at 9:30 PM

26 Puddintain March 13, 2014 at 11:03 PM

No one cares, Claire.

27 @Kevin March 14, 2014 at 6:45 AM

Yes, misery loves company. That’s probably why you like having all those other personalities.
