1 I like these guys and gals February 27, 2014 at 4:41 PM

These guys do a lot of good when the $hit hits the fan. They can talk to each other when everything else is not working, coordinating everything people need until the government can recover. Plus they have a good time when nothing serious is going on.

They don’t take money from the government either, they all pay their own way. That says something for a group these days when every other group runs around begging for donations, grants and any free money they can find.

Check these guys out and have some fun.

2 NOTE-it's not the beginning level February 27, 2014 at 5:56 PM

Notice that this is for upgrading a current technician class license to the next level.

No, #2 this is not to upgrade from technicians to general. This is for anyone, (preferably with a tech license), interested in learning how to talk on the air. Truth be known you don’t “need” a license to come to this session. Folks with licenses will be there and can allow you to speak with their radios if you’re interested in learning more about amateur radio.

The email address has an auto-response with information on all three amateur radio license levels. There is no Morse code requirement now so there is a lot more interest in Ham Radio. We are taking names of those interested in the entry level Technician license. Please email and a form will be sent to you. K6REL
