At least no one was hurt. I guess everybody had the day off.

that all sounds very fishy to me….

5 iluvfriedchicken February 17, 2014 at 9:07 PM

Turtle Power! Did the police check the sewers?

6 anon February 17, 2014 at 9:10 PM

From the description I think I know him and so does CPD. Sheriff’s Department has one in custody.

Richards Family, why is carjacking someone at gunpoint “fishy?” Violent, yes. But fishy?

I hope they catch this punk. They’ll find him.

Not to all hoodlums…Do not commit a Federal offense while wearing a ninja turtle tshirt. You kinda stick out, oh, and if you are 5 feet nothing you also stand out.. lol

Master Splinter would not approve.

Think a Suspect in In Custody. CHP Just Turned The Air Search around, and a Suspect Is Apprehended. Don’t know if it’s from The Concord Jacking. There was a Short Chase Allegedly with a Possible Non- Injury Crash. The Car Is an Impala, Per Radio Traffic. Good Job PD, if it’s as it Sounds. This is Not Official, so we wait for The Official Account. Watch Your Back Out There. Many of Us Use This 7-11, and That Center Just Next Door.

Clayton Valley Grad

It’s Me!!, you have the wrong 7-11. The 7-11 you’re referring to is on Concord Blvd. (Dana Plaza). This happened at the 7-11 on Olivera. That would be an awfully long walk.

Be thankful the neighborhood you’re referring to is a safer neighborhood….

At least he wasn’t wearing a purple teletbubies sweatshirt. Im sure TMNT will make him feel tuff in Juvi.

That’s a sketchy area to start with. Drug deal gone wrong??

5’2″ and a couple of felonies, that’s going to be a long life.

Hey, the bro just needed a ride home, ya know?

21 Anon February 18, 2014 at 8:22 AM

WTF was anyone doing BEHIND the 7-11 on Olivera. I’m glad the thuglet was arrested, but I think the “victims” were likely up to no good as well.

22 itsme February 18, 2014 at 9:12 AM

@Lost and Happy……don’t give those stupid thugs any help!

23 Lori February 18, 2014 at 10:20 AM

@Craig Canon don’t usually comment about anyone’s posting style but every time I read one of yours I can’t help but wonder why you need to capitalize almost every word?

24 Rick February 18, 2014 at 10:31 AM

@ Lori—-23

It’s one of two things. Either a “learning issue”, or he’s doing it to be “purposely annoying”. If that’s the case he’s succeeding every time someone comments on it, which is often.

Either way, it’s annoying. Just ignore it.

25 anonymous February 18, 2014 at 10:31 AM

@23 ( I can’t help but wonder ) Yes you can Lori.

That 7-11 needs to go away. It is convenient but it is also a magnet for homeless people and small time criminals such as this lovely individual. And it is always filthy outside.

27 Idiocracy February 18, 2014 at 11:09 AM

Another case where if we were issued CCW permits the crime could have been stopped right then. I know that area, its been going downhill since the 80’s. Tear up the low income housing and build places that require a decent income and watch these crime disappear. Still a better area than Oakland

@ 13
You must be using voice text ,it drives me nuts to read your posts .

30 Dave February 18, 2014 at 12:30 PM

He’s not using voice text. Voice doesn’t use in in twice, nor will it come out like that. He’s doing it on purpose for attention, and he’s getting it. Immature people do it on blogs to stand out. They’re attention whores.

Kind of like advertising. As long as you’re talking about it.

Thanks Rick….enough said

He was found and arrested, young black male drove in the rivershore apartments on willow pass rd in bay point through the wrong way and over the spike strip and flattened all tires. He jumped out of the car while it was still in drive, and ran out of sight. The sheriff who was following him stayed with the stolen vehicle and waited for the k9 unit to arrive. About ten other officers already had the entire apartment complex surrounded when the k9 officer arrived. The dog picked up the scent from the vehicle but lost it five minutes later when he returned to the car to get the scent again. After searching the complex for another ten minutes, they returned with the suspect. He was put in the back of the police car until the owner of the stolen vehicle came to positively identify him. He was then read his rights and arrested.

This all happened from outside my kitchen window.

My guess is Craig Cannon is typing using a Blackberry and holds down the key hard at the start of each word resulting in a Capital letter.
